My family had a great time at Ryan’s home over the holidays. The home is in a beautiful calm location. We enjoyed watching ice fishermen on the lake and even saw a bald eagle. The cheese store down the road is amazing. The house is laid out very well for a here is enough room for a group of people. There’s plenty of room to gather in the open floor plan kitchen/dining/living area, but enough room up the spiral staircase for everyone to all have their own space, with TVs in most of the bedrooms where people can log into their own accounts and relax as they would at home. Would love to stay again during the summer!

This is a great family location and we had terrific time with our two families (4 adults and 4 kids). The lake was great and it is a wonderful vacation spot

This was our first Airbnb experience, waking up and looking at the lake every morning was an incredible experience. Neighbors were friendly and the locals make the town a great time.

We needed a large vacation home to house several out of town and overseas guests for our daughter’s wedding in downtown Milwaukee and this lake house was perfect! It’s beautifully decorated and very comfortable with an awesome lake view. We especially enjoyed the large kitchen and downstairs living & dining spaces for family dinners and gatherings. This home is highly recommended if you are looking for a lake house in a quiet small town.

Great location for complete relaxation

We had a great stay at this lovely lakehouse. Great large kitchen area and outdoor area for everyone to gather, and very comfortable rooms.

This lake home is very much worth the money! Great vacation for the price. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything you need (except a garage disposal which was no big deal). The ground floor was so open and stylish! The house has a lot of games and fun for kids. I loved all the blankets all around. The kayaks and paddle board were a huge hit. I was so impressed with the communication of the host!! The bunk bed room was perfect for our kids! The only thing I wish I would have had was a washer and dryer because I did not pack well. I would recommend this to anyone!

Vision of peace, serenity and comfort. This house was an adventure to find. Once pulling off the highway, just south of Sheboygan. We ventured through back woods and roads, and stumbled upon a small, quaint, well kept slew of cottages. At the very end, we were graced upon Hal's House. This Frank Loyd Wright replica, was stunning, yet simple on the outside. But once we entered, the midcentury modern furniture, 70's feel, and stunning views of Lake Michigan out of every room, caught our attention and we fell in love. We took advantage of all aspects of the house - the peninsula fireplace, and the outdoor fire pit was our favorite thing. We utilized the indoor fireplace as much as we could as we stayed during the Christmas holiday. The kitchen was well set up, with all the necessities. The open layout in the dining room, living room and den was comforting and warm. We woke up and went to sleep every day with the sounds of waves. This is a MUST stay! We will certainly have this in our memories for the rest of our lives. We loved it.

Be prepared to be enchanted by this mid-century modern Frank Lloyd Wright lakefront home! We really enjoyed our week at Hal’s Place on Lake Michigan. Thank you Hal, for opening your home to AirBnB’ers! I was in love with the layout and the architecture, the furnishings and the artwork. The fireplace was spectacular. This place is so comfortable and warm. Gary and I slept deeply with the sounds of the waves crashing against the shore. We loved watching the sun rise daily and our walks as well. Hal has books and games if the weather isn’t cooperative. There’s a fire-pit outside just to the south of the deck. Hearing the waves and witnessing the changing colors of the water was so enjoyable. This is a place to relax, unwind and reset. I was bewitched, enchanted and mesmerized by this home. Very grateful for our time there. We truly hope to return. Christina and Gary

This home is RIGHT on the lake. It is a lovely retreat. The moonrise and sunrises were spectacular. The home is mid-century from roof to foundation. We had relaxing mornings on the beach, bbqs and s’mores on the deck, and cozy nights by the fireplace inside. Some of the toiletries were a bit low when we got there so we replaced them (hand soap etc.). And perhaps byob laundry detergent. Everything else is there - everything. From games to lounge chairs and marshmallow roasters it was all there! Oh one thing to know is that there were quite a few groceries in the fridge and a plastic bin marked “private.” We had limited room for groceries then so things were pretty packed in the fridge for the first few days and some things froze (we did groceries on the way up and also brought stuff from home). All in all it is a lovely and welcoming space - we’re heading back in May and can’t wait to see it in the spring! You won’t regret booking here!

Even with the most ugly weather that we could have imagined during the week we were there, we managed to enjoy a wonderful house which made us feel so comfortable and relaxed it didn't really matter in the end that we weren't able to spend much time outside as we had a wonderful time inside just relaxing watching movies and having good food to eat. The extra firewood brought over by Al was a big help also.

Beautiful house with amazing access to Lake Michigan and a great beach. The house is sparking clean, and the king bed is very comfortable. Cant wait to do it again this summer.

Terri’s place is spectacular. She has truly thought of everything! From the outdoor space to the indoor space, you feel like you’re in a magazine! It was so cozy and well decorated. Terri provides everything you would want and more. If you want to get out of the city for a few days, this is the place to go! I had the most amazing time during my visit and will most definitely be planning the next one soon!

Terri's place was perfect for our weekend getaway. The home was beautifully designed and so well thought out. She provided everything you could ever need for a fun-filled, relaxing weekend. We were a little worried about no running water, but it could not have been easier to cook, wash dishes, etc. We are already planning our next trip up during the summer.

Best NYE ever!! We had so much fun on our peaceful getaway with our dog. Terri thought of everything and supplied the home with several amenities I wouldn’t have even expected. Such an amazing little cabin in the perfect spot! So close to everything you’d need but you still feel so secluded. The place has amazing amenities and is the most cozy spot you’ll find! Would recommend to anyone looking for a perfect stress-free weekend

Gina's home is warm and lovely. We absolutely adored our stay there. Gina had a wonderful breakfast spread every morning. We were in town to go hiking at Kettle Moraine, which was only a 15-20 minute drive away. They suggested we check out Random Lake Pizzeria and we had the most wild pizza combinations (including a Chicago Style Hot Dog Pizza which was delicious) and some homemade blueberry ice cream. This place is perfect for a relaxing getaway weekend in nature. I can't wait to find a time to visit again when the farm is in full bloom.

The farm was amazing. So relaxing. The grounds were lovely. Even the drive there was peaceful. Gina even had coffee for me in the morning. I was super grateful for that. And the flowers. The flowers were stunning!!! Can not say enough good things about the farm. Oh I can not forget about Bernard the handsome golden retriever. I am quite fond of him. Such a good boy. :). .

Probably my best AirBnB experience. Gina and Cheryl are perfect hosts, the farm is beautiful, breakfast is great, room is gorgeous (though we were actually in the sunflower room instead of the lavender). An incredible value, too, they're sure to make a great vacation even better.

We had a wonderful stay at the flower farm. Our room was comfortable, clean, and spacious enough for our family of four. We loved interacting with the dogs and cat - it made it feel a bit like home. Cherie was a gracious host, giving us a tour of their farm as well as suggestions for other things to do during our visit to Wisconsin. Overall, it was a great place to stay, and we highly recommend this bed and breakfast!

Very welcoming home. Gina is a great hostess and makes a great omelette. The home is clean and spacious.

The flower farm was very lovely and our entire family had a wonderful time relaxing on the property, most specifically in the morning at breakfast. Gina and Sheri make an incredible, tasty, fresh breakfast that adds to the charm of their farm stay. The grounds around the farm were nice to explore or if shade was needed there are plenty of benches spread around the property to sit back and enjoy the view and peacefulness. We also had fun playing with the dogs and cozying up with their friendly cat. Gina and Sheri are fantastic hosts and we highly recommend their home.

The Flower Farm was excellent! Gina and Cherie were flexible regarding our later check-in time and made a fantastic breakfast for us. We were in the area to play golf and would definitely stay here again. We left with 3 beautiful bouquets of flowers.

Stephanie and Dave were the greatest! Our girl's weekend could not have been better. It was a perfect spot and perfect space. We had SUCH a great time and such a needed respite with the kindest hosts ever!

Joanne's property is warm, welcoming, unique, and offers incredible peace, quiet, and solitude. She goes out of her way to make guests feel invited and welcome. She adds amazingly thoughtful and personal touches for her guests (for example, leaving a coffee gift for my boyfriend's birthday). The animals and property add great entertainment. Her entire family was kind, respectful, and gracious in hosting our visit and in respecting our quiet and solitude. We did not have our children with us, but will bring them with for sure the next time. There is so much to do and see on the farm. Joanne, thank you for making our weekend away a great weekend to remember. We returned rested and relaxed. We look forward to our next visit.

We stayed at Joanne on our (long way) path from Detroit, through the UP, to Chicago. As I crossed into WI, the fall colors were behind me and I was a bit dissapointed at the landscape - farms forever and little trees - and then there is Joanne's! It is equally eccentric and down home and we were made very comfortable. The view is amazing! We were lucky to be there on a full moon as well. Joanne was such a thoughtful host! She called a day before to let me know that she was flexible on check in and out times. She made suggestions of places to visit and where to dine. I would suggest if you are sensitive to perfumes/fragrances, perhaps ask Joanne to unplug the Glade plug-ins for you before your arrival. Most people would think this is a lovely touch, but I had to air out the place a bit due to an allergy to synthetic fragrances - which is on me, not the host to regulate and research.

Wellspring is a very special place and Mary Ann a very special host! Exceptionally beautiful and peaceful natural surroundings, offering much to learn and enjoy. Comfortable accommodations. Highly recommended for a relaxing and inspiring experience!

Rustic and quiet

I don't even know where to begin! If you're looking for a top notch stay in the area, stop all of your searching and choose Jewel's before somebody else does! Jewel's place is so cozy and comfortable from the heated floors to the heated mattress pad and amazingly comfortable hotel-quality bed. To top it off, Jewel is an exceptional host. Expect amazing communication and extra touches. She had local baked goods for us upon arrival and gave up her garage spot for our car during a snowstorm. When we had to leave, Jewel had the driveway shoveled for us by 6:30 AM. Thank you Jewel and we hope to be back one day!

Very quaint space stocked with tons of essentials and things you may have forgotten. Only a few country roads away from Sheboygan and alot of other hot spots. Jewel is super sweet and helpful. Would highly recommend.

This was a great place for a get together with old friends! We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit by the lake and enjoyed the surrounding area. We loved that everything you may need is easy to find and the hosts give great suggestions on food and activities! We will hopefully visit again to such a beautiful place on the lake!

The access to the beach right as you step off the deck was wonderful. No stairs or driving to a beach. The view is amazing. We had mostly cloudy, rainy weather. We came to relax and it didn’t matter about the weather, the view and waves are so relaxing to watch. We had 1/2 day with sun and enjoyed watching sunrise, walking the beach. Even flew a kite. Would stay again. Quick response from owners.

Awesome! Been there with 4 adults and two kids and all the amenities were just great and thought through. Toys for indoor, beach toys, kayak (went daily). Would go back in a heartbeat.

Can't say enough good things about our stay! We enjoyed a fire every evening, the kids built sand castles, and everyone enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boat. Lots of room to spread out and no one was ever bored. Lovely!

I can’t recommend this place enough. The pictures do not do the house justice. Very spacious, we had 5 adults and 1 kid and felt like we could have brought a ton more. The house is fully stocked with family fun activities for the lake, the yard, and even inside on a rainy day. Do yourself a favor and come to The Shamba for fun and relaxation. Our stay exceeded our expectations by a landslide. Bob & Jo were thoughtful and thorough hosts.

Great location right on the beach!

The house is just perfect for a summer, lakeside vacation. There are kayaks, fire pit, sand toys, paddle boat, huge deck, beach chairs, and grills outside. The house is roomy inside, with a sunroom serving as an additional bedroom. And it has plenty of dishes, bedding, kitchen supplies, bathroom supplies, toys, books, and games. Bob and Jo were wonderful to work with - they even let us know the house was available earlier our first day which was so nice. All communication was good. Our family truly enjoyed our time there!!

The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked better than any Airbnb that I've ever stayed in. As a family that cooks, we were pleasantly surprised at how well the kitchen was stocked, including a kitchenaid stand mixer, and a good variety of pots and pans. The space was great and we made full use of all of it, including the fireplace. There was an excellent selection of books for all ages (our group was age 9 to 72), and games and toys that were in great shape. This house truly feels like it was set up by people who intend on living there, which makes a huge difference when you are staying as a guest. We loved the space and hope to come back to visit when it's warm.

Exceptional property, amazing host! We visited the house with young kids (ages 1-7) and the experience could not have been better. Small, clean, shallow beach. Kids (and adults) loved using the water trampoline, kayaks, paddle board, etc. Something for everyone. House was large, modern and comfortable for our group, and incredibly clean. We loved everything about our weekend and cannot wait to return next summer!

The view is unbelievable. Being so close to the water is what sold us on this location. Absolutely recommend bringing bottled water to drink. Kitchen was well stocked for our large group.

We had an amazing time at the Seagull Lodge. The lodge has so much character and the views of the lake are amazing from almost every room. The beach and water were really clean, and we enjoyed swimming, kayaking, campfires and strolling. My favorite part was the huge table in the screened-in porch – our family ate there every meal and enjoyed the incredible views.

What a wonderful place! It over delivered all expectations. My family loved it. There can't be a better getaway out there. I feel grateful that I had the opportunity to live there for a week.

As the planner for a surprise get away, I got multiple compliments on having "hit it out of the ballpark." The place certainly exceeded my hopes for it. The 4 kids spent hours on the private beach, the kitchen was adequately stocked with cookware to mix up margaritas and salsa and make elaborate meals, and the space was clean and adequate for the couples, one mom, and the kids... Kids review: it was fun! But the well water was funky... City kids really struggled with water that doesn't smell like chlorine. But they spent most of their time trying to catch fish in buckets, so I'm not sure how excited they could really get about things that smell funny. Anyway, we are planning our 2018 trip. A perfect fit for a low key group that wanted private access to the beach and a place conducive to forgetting anything else exists.

My husband and I along with our 2 adult children and their partners enjoyed our stay at Montgomery's cottage and only wished it could have been longer. The cottage is warm and welcoming and very comfortable. We arrived early evening on Friday and appreciated the snack and beverages Louise had waiting for us We all slept well in the comfortable beds listening to the Lake Michigan waves rolling in. The location is great, very close to the inter urban bike trail which we took advantage of one afternoon. We did have some rain one of the days but still had fun playing one of the games available to guests and watching the Packers beat the Colorado Broncos. We would love to come back! Thanks very much!

You can't beat the view of Lake Michigan from the house! We were able to sit on the pier and the small beach and really enjoy the lake. While the flies were biting one day, they disappeared the next, so we were able to have a real "beach vacation." Louse is so thoughtful - loved the gift basket! There was even a closet with any potential forgotten items which helped make us feel right at home. Thanks again for a lovely stay!!

This cabin was awesome! Just a few steps out the back door and you're on the beach! We watched the sunrise almost every morning with a cup of coffee on the private dock. Our two dogs we're exhausted from swimming all day. It was a perfect get away.

This cabin is adorable and on the cutest street. Being right on the lake is so special, I wish it was my summer house. Go! You’ll love it!

A spacious location for a spending quality time with family and friends. Nice movie theater and hot tub. It's a peaceful place with comfortable beds. Just be sure to bring in groceries or expect to drive to restaurants. And don't expect to do anything with the lake other than view it. No wading or swimming.

Lori is an excellent hostess! She was very warm, kind, and generous; and was readily available if we had any questions. The suite was very well-equipped and extremely comfortable for the 5 of us. We had a great time grilling out; and hanging in the hot tub. Also loved having access to the in-home theater! All-in-all a perfectly relaxing getaway from the city.

At Lori's place you will find a great space to both rest and to have fun. The games and entertainment space are wonderful. She is very accomidating and definitely goes the extra mile. You can tell she enjoys people. Sheboygan is not far and has a nice beach and is fun to roam around. We had great family time together and felt relaxed and at home. We recommend this space for a gathering.

The pictures are an honest representation of what to plan for when staying at this beautiful and serene lake house. Our family accomplished exactly what we wanted to do on our Memorial Day weekend which was: grilling outside, playing lots of boardgames, epic foosball tournaments, enjoying the indoor movie theater (everyone had a seat!), hot tub hangouts, firepit rally at night, and RELAXING as we each took our turn in the massage chair. Lori's home is very clean and kitchen is well stocked with dishware, pots and pans, and linens plus, she had plenty of children's toys availiable for our 5 year old. Thank you Lori for sharing your home and helping us create wonderful bonding memories.

Great location for exploring the area. The homey touches and amenities were much appreciated. The massage chair and lovely outdoor hot tub were so relaxing and much needed after an icy winter hike. The theater room is excellent quality.

We had a girls night for Christmas at Lori’s home. It was a perfect setting, the theater was amazing, and the massage chair was perfect! Lori's place was amazing. we stayed a night for my husband's Birthday with group of friends. The amenities was great for our group; hot tub, foosball, some board games, massage chair, and home theater. I strongly recommend this place. our group was a bit loud but the host was very patient with us. Lori left us small gifts and chocolates which was very nice.

We have never been to a B&B that was so unique and accommodating. The home was gorgeous, clean, and lived up to the description on their website. Wonderful venue in the forest of Central Wisconsin. The downstairs is large, accommodating 3-4 people. The total home (living room, kitchen, etc.) in great condition and fully appointed, in the Frank LLoyd wright style. Diane provided great instructions and follow-up. Would like to visit again.

A beautiful home that is one with It's natural surroundings. We loved all the lighting and all the windows to let in the summer breeze and sounds of nature. Dianne is great with communications and making sure our stay was enjoyable. We will be back again.

Shalom House was (by far) our best stay of the Summer. Spectacular Views, Clean, Tranquility Throughout. Our New "Go To" for our family getaway. Awesome!

Diane had a beautiful place to stay and made us feel welcome. It was like being in a royal hotel suite with homey attention. We were running late and then hit a white-out snowstorm. Diane was very patient when we ended up being an hour later than we agreed.

Diane provided me clear instructions regarding use of the house so my stay went without a hitch. The home is simply lovely and has windows that connect the interior to the wooded area that surrounds the home. The architecture of the house lends itself to quiet reflection, and after the walk along the path around the house, you too will be able to rethink old problems anew. As for amenities, I enjoyed the spacious and fully stocked kitchen, reading in the main room next to the fireplace and walking in the painted labirynth in the basement. I only spent 2 days at Shalom House and left with a sense of intention and calm. The last time I felt this way was a bizarre trip that took me to Taos, NM which has a similar energy as Shalom (if you have ever been to Taos, you know what I mean).

My husband and I stayed at the Shalom House for a quick (one night) get away- what a gem! Diane is a warm, kind and thoughtful host- we really enjoyed talking to her and getting to know her a bit. Her home is absolutely lovely- beautiful, peaceful, full of great energy, and the setting is so serene. We left feeling rested and revitalized, despite the short stay. I would recommend the Shalom House to anyone looking for a quiet getaway or a place to gather with loved ones- you won't be disappointed!

The Shalom House is a beautiful sanctuary nestled in a forested area minutes from the community of West Bend, less than an hour North of Milwaukee. My family and I were fortunate to be Diane's first AirBnB guests. We arrived while she was away, but were thoroughly provided with instructions on how to find her home and all manner of details about the accommodations. It is important to note that this location seems most suitable for the introspective traveler. The Shalom House is very clean and contains interesting and unique art pieces. This is not a location that would serve as a booze-binge getaway, for example. It breathes serenity, reflection, rest and relaxation. I saw no television and there is no wifi. With that said, it was the perfect place for a family of four to settle on our last day of a three week American road-trip. Thank you, Diane.

Mary Ann is a friendly, warm person who made us feel welcome. We stayed in July and enjoyed the beautiful grounds and gardens and watching songbirds and squirrels through the big windows each morning at breakfast. If you like a quiet retreat, this is for you!

Another great stay at the flower farm. Accommodated some unexpected changes in our plans with no drama and hosted our family with exceptional hospitality. Couldn't ask for more. And the oatmeal bake and breakfast burrito casserole were awesome.

Gina was an excellent host, and added many touches to make our room feel very homey. She catered breakfasts to our special requests, and even when she was busy provided delicious home baked goodies both mornings. The new guest kitchenette is a great touch, especially with the fresh coffee waiting for us each morning. We slept well in the cozy, comfortable bed, and enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs gazing out at the flower field. As an extra touch, Gina had the best recommendations for food and activities. It was a memorable stay.

I am so happy I found this beautiful peaceful place out in the country to relax and explore at. The property is stunning and the flower fields in addition to the farm, are picturesque and absolutely perfect for taking photos! I came with my 16month old and she too, loved exploring. Gina was so helpful and offered some local tips, which were spot on! We can’t wait to visit again! We also loved meeting and spending time with their dog and cat!!!

We found this stay to be relaxing, comfortable, and interesting. The house is gorgeous! The Sunflower Room is big and comfortable. When we were in the room, we never heard any noise. The bed was comfortable and had a lovely view of the countryside. We meant to spend some time in the huge patio area, but just didn’t seem to find the time. We had to share the large bathroom our second night, but there were no problems with that. Breakfast was delicious both mornings we were there. Our hosts were very personable and were willing to chat with us as much as we liked. We also enjoyed talking with the others who stayed there. The 2 dogs are beautiful, well-behaved, and love to be petted. Charlie the cat visited our room a couple of times, which was lovely as we were missing our own cats. Overall, we would definitely stay here again!

Awesome lake house!

This rustic cabin sitting on a private lake offered great views, swimming and peace. Dawn was responsive to an issue quickly. Everything was exactly what we expected and hoped for in our vacation. We would stay again.

Great location on a beautiful private lake! Worth it for the privacy and included boats and water fun. Cabin is cozy but spacious, and has everything you need.

We loved our stay at the cabin. It was the perfect distance from Milwaukee, but still felt secluded and private. Definitely recommend it for a weekend escape that's close to the city!

Our group of 8 had a wonderful weekend at Dawn & Victoria's cabin. There were plenty of beds and all were really comfy with plenty of extra pillow and blankets. The kitchen was fully stocked and lots of room for a big group to cook and eat! We had a cozy fire in the fireplace and would have used the outdoor fire pit if it hadn't been raining. There's a grocery store about 15 minutes away and restaurants in Plymouth, but we spent most of our time relaxing around the fire! Even though we couldn't enjoy the lake, I would still recommend renting the cabin in colder weather, it's so cozy!
