The Treehouse is an architecturally designed space for 2 with a private covered balcony running down one side with views over stunning gardens & countryside. Originally a famous printmakers studio, it is now a large & comfortably furnished light filled bolthole. There are floor to ceiling windows, (with blinds) a large living area with fully equipped kitchen. Upstairs is a romantic ensuite bedroom. The Treehouse is ideal for a relaxing break in a secluded location, 10 mins walk to Penzance.
Orchard Flower Farm is nestled within a beautiful valley just a few minutes drive from Penzance. The building is converted from an artist’s studio where the late Master printer, Hugh Stoneman produced work with highly acclaimed artists such as Sir Terry Frost, Patrick Heron, Sandra Blow and many others. The property itself is finished to a very high standard, including art work from the artists that originally worked in the space. With an open plan lay out, the Studio is light and airy, and with one wall comprising of floor to ceiling windows it allows uninterrupted views of the valley. With only the sounds of birdsong and water running in the stream, it is a perfect place to find peace and quiet. Guests also have full access to the 6 acres of land joined to the property and a wide range of walks in the surrounding area.
The studio is in a truly secluded position surrounded by 4 acres of wonderful Cornish gardens is located close to Penzance, the historic maritime port of Penzance, just 2 miles inland from the Cornish Coastline. St Ives, Lands End, Marazion, St Michaels Mount, Minack Theatre, Porthcurno Beach and the surfing beach of Sennen are all less than 10 mins drive away so there is plenty to see and do. West Penwith, the area of West Cornwall close to Penzance has lots of thriving and recommended, restaurants, bars and galleries to visit. Thi part of the world is well known for its stunning coastlines which are all accessible from the South West Coast Path. We also have some amazing tropical gardens. There's plenty to see and do - alternatively you can just chill with some magnificent views.
  • It was our second time in Cornwall, and after a stay in a pretty basic flat in Penzance last time we decided we wanted something a bit out of town and in nature. This place fits the bill perfectly! Easy to get to, close to everything, but hidden away down a small lane to give you a very private and very beautiful space. You wake up in the morning overlooking the trees and fields with nothing around you but nature, it's a good way to wake up! The place is very clean and has all the amenities you need for a short or a long stay. A big kitchen is available so it really feels like a home away from home. Beds are comfortable, and you can watch the stars from the bed or the bathtub through the skylights. We had a stubborn little cat visiting a few teams who was just the sweetest. If you don't like cats he's very easy to shoo away and won't come back.. but we couldn't resist its fluffy cheeks so gave him lots of cuddles. The host provides a plethora of tips and suggestions for things to do nearby so you're never short on ideas. Highly recommended, would visit again, 10/10

Set in the heart of Mousehole, The Lookout is a cosy space that offers everything you need for a short stay. The decor is modern and airy. The bed is raised and accessed by steps to give guests a sea view. There are lots of cushions so it can also be used as a sofa. The suite includes: Smart TV; DAB radio; wardrobe and storage; bar stools; mini fridge; toaster; crockery; kettle with tea/coffee (but no cooking facilities); large freestanding bath; separate shower; private entrance and courtyard.
This is an idyllic and peaceful retreat for two. We’ve been told by our guests that it’s a ‘real gem’, ‘perfect bolthole’ and ‘made them feel like a local’ ‘in a home from home.’ The accommodation is private and central. Please note there are no cooking facilities other than a toaster and kettle as it doesn’t have a kitchen area. The Lookout is attached to a family home in the heart of a bustling Cornish village with a beautiful harbour and beach. Its location is ideal to get to everything Mousehole has to offer including fabulous restaurants, deli, cafes and galleries.
Mousehole is a beautiful Cornish village packed full of charm. The small beach is often far warmer than the forecast as it's protected by the harbour walls. It has a wide range of high quality restaurants and cafes. As it is part of the South West Coast Path, it also makes an ideal stopping place for walkers. The village is only a short car journey from St Michael's Mount, the Minack Theatre, Land's End and lots of beautiful beaches. We also benefit from a fantastic bus service that runs every 30 minutes. During the winter season, the village comes to life with its fabulous Christmas lights and the procession for Tom Bowcock's Eve.
  • Managed to park on coastal road so was free, two min walk to property. Had amazing nights sleep, lovely walk round the area and the best bath we've ever had. Such a gorgeous space, thanks for hosting us!

Our cottage is a cosy converted blacksmith's workshop in the ancient Cornish town of Marazion - home to St Michael's Mount & in Poldark country! One of the oldest properties in Marazion, the cottage is just off the main street and the SW coast path.
The Old Forge is a cosy converted granite blacksmith's forge in the beautiful Cornish seaside town of Marazion, with exposed stone walls, real wood flooring and a cast iron log burner (perfect for snuggling up in front of!) as well as a range of beautiful original features including the old blacksmith's shop front, deep window seats in the thick granite walls and even a lintel made from a reclaimed ship! It has a new, fully equipped and beautiful country kitchen with wooden worktops, an electric range cooker, a dishwasher, a washer/dryer and Smeg fridge-freezer, and a bathroom with a cast iron roll top bath with electric shower over. There is a farmhouse dining table and 4 chairs in the living room. The property has two bedrooms - a double and twin. The double room features an old exposed chimney breast and velux windows - perfect for stargazing on a warm summer evening. The twin room has a beautiful exposed granite wall and original wooden beam. Marazion is on the South West coast path with beautiful beaches (including a dog-friendly year-round beach) great for walking and bathing, and famous for windsurfing and kitesurfing. A 5 minute walk through the old main street of Marazion, the town centre features several fantastic pubs and restaurants, including the exceptional Ben's Cornish Kitchen (winner of the Cornwall Life Food & Drink Award 2014), the Godolphin Arms and a number of cosy pubs including The King's Arms (highly recommended for a Sunday roast), The Cutty Sark and The Fire Engine Inn. We are very happy to welcome guests with a well-behaved dog (or two!) however please bear in mind that the property does not have a garden (although there are several patches of grass and a playing field within a 30 second walk of the front door). We can also recommend some fabulous walks - all tried and tested by our labrador, Moo. We run an eco-conscious cottage so, as far as possible, everything provided in the cottage (where applicable) will be local, organic, environmentally-friendly and/or Fair Trade. We really love sharing our little cottage with other people and are very grateful for having such lovely guests who take good care of it during their stay. If anything does get damaged or broken during your stay please do let us know ASAP - we really don't mind (these things happen!) however we often have guests checking in the same day you check out and knowing in advance means that we can make sure items are fixed or replaced before our next guests arrive. Please note: There is no allocated parking provided however you will be able to park very close to the house on one of the adjoining, unrestricted roads. We are very close to the sea here so in the spring and summer it's not uncommon for the seagulls to start their morning chorus quite early! We've tried asking them to wake up a bit later however this doesn't appear to have worked as yet . . .

Beautiful Mousehole apartment with panoramic sea views, private parking and a large garden. Large master bedroom, fully equipped kitchen and a living/dining room with sofa bed. Sun trapped balcony overlooking the village.
Mousehole Village was described by Dylan Thomas as 'the most beautiful village in England. ' Its fisherman's cottages cluster around the safe harbour, where you can swim among the boats, or sunbathe on the sheltered sandy beach. There are excellent restaurants, a lovely old pub, a village shop and Post Office, and lots of arty shops selling local crafts and other interesting and beautiful things. Nearby there are wonderful beaches, tiny coves and the South West Coastpath goes right through the village.
  • Lis is a fantastic host I highly recommend staying at her apartment, with parking right outside, it felt very homely with the open fire and also sea views are amazing. We shall be returning again in the future. Brilliant to say the least.

  • This place is a real gem perched up high in a beautiful part of Cornwall. The views are breathtaking! We really enjoyed our stay to celebrate my husband’s birthday! The apartment is spacious and very comfortable. There is everything you need for a relaxing break. We especially enjoyed the open fire which we lit in the evening. We hope to return again in the future. Julian & Christina

  • A cozy flat with great views of the sea. We experienced typically inclement weather in January but loved just hunkering down in front of the fireplace. Great maps ! Nicely equipped kitchen. Lis is a friendly and responsive host.

  • Lis' place was perfect, great views, but also a nice welcome. Lis came to check that everything was fine, without feeling invasive. She shared some good tips about the area, which is really beautiful, even in the middle of winter :)

  • Celia’s place is truly amazing and the location is great. 10 min walk to the harbour, even if it seems longer. We would definitely choose her place again to visit this part of Cornwall.

    Chloé2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • What a place. Beautifully designed with gorgeous little touches we felt really at home at Celias place. Everything was really well thought out and we loved the space and apartment. The views from the balcony are literally staggering. One of the best places we have ever stayed. Thank you Celia for making us so welcome.

    Nicola2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely, big, bright apartment with everything we needed for our stay! Very comfortable bed and great shower.

    Ceana2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed at Celia's place for a short holiday to explore the west of Cornwall. It was perfect! Quirky and comfortable, and an amazing view from the balcony. Easy access to the coastline for walking.

    Felicity-Jayne2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful apartment. The space is a little quirky, with its round bathroom, but this makes the apartment all the more special. A real home from home, especially with the wood burner. Wonderful views of the harbour and beyond too.

    Zoë2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • This place is incredible. It’s spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable, and has everything you could need. We felt absolutely at home. The view is so breathtaking, we didn’t want to leave the apartment and spend a lot of time looking out and taking loads of pictures. When we did leave, everything was just a short walk down the hill. A lovely coffee shop called Lovetts, a wonderful Newly Film House, a Co-op is just around the corner. Food highlights: treat yourself and go to the Tolcarne Inn, or grab some fish and chips at Lewis’s (best we’ve had so far). There’s bus stops close by as well. Overall we had a fantastic time in Newly, plenty of time to relax and clear your mind in the apartment, and having peaceful walks down by the water. Can’t recommend this place enough. I really hope I can come back here and explore more of Cornwall.

    Andrija2020-01-08T00:00:00Z
  • Loved this special place so much I cried when we left. Beautiful views from the main bedroom and lounge! Great area if you want to explore. Celia was very welcoming and we were treated to mince pies and Christmas cake, which I would guess were homemade! Thank you again

(Please feel free to use the front lawn too!) Perfect for a fresh morning coffee or evening glass of wine!
Mousehole (pronounced "Mowzel") is one of Cornwall's most picturesque villages; a stunning collection of yellow-lichened houses, built from the local finely grained granite and huddled together around the inner edge of the harbour - protected from the force of the sea coming across Mounts Bay by two sturdy harbour walls. A small and very safe beach is located in a sheltered part of the harbour which is popular with families, particularly those with small children- an ideal location for family days out, with safe bathing, quite literally at your feet. There are some amazing eateries; including The Old Coastguard Hotel, 2 Fore Street, The Hole Foods Deli, as well as The Ship Inn. Booking in advance is recommend. Amazing Roskilly's ice-cream, pasties and light lunches can be found at Jessie's Dairy. The Rock Pool Cafe, on the outskirts of the village has stunning views across Mounts Bay. Lots of gorgeous shops and galleries surround the harbour and there is also a post office if needed.

The Courtyard is a stylish hideaway for two, moments from Mousehole’s beautiful harbour. This completely renovated former fisherman’s cottage has been stunningly furnished with a mix of modern and vintage finds and a few antique treasures. The subtle muted decor creates a relaxed atmosphere whilst throughout the focus is firmly on understated luxury. Outside the pretty plant-filled courtyard is the perfect place for a morning coffee or for a glass of something chilled as the sun goes down.
The Courtyard is a stylish hideaway for two, moments from Mousehole’s beautiful harbour. This completely renovated former fisherman’s cottage has been stunningly furnished with a mix of modern and vintage finds along with a few antique treasures. The subtle muted decor creates a relaxed atmosphere whilst throughout the focus is firmly on understated luxury. In the spacious bathroom there is a deep roll-top bath, separate power-shower enclosure, underfloor heating and lots of thick, fluffy, white towels. The bedroom has a king-size bed, 400 thread count White Company bedding, antique chandelier, and spacious wardrobe with iron/ironing board and plenty of hanging space. The kitchen is equipped with a Nespresso coffee machine, cafetiere, Dualit and Neff appliances, induction hob and cooker, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. There is also a dining table for two. The lounge is furnished with carefully sourced pieces such as a large mirror from France, a vintage leather club chair, new comfy sofa and a cosy wood-burner for chilly nights (kiln-dried wood, kindling and natural firelighters are provided for your first night from the beginning of October to the end of March). Outside the pretty plant-filled courtyard is the perfect place for a morning coffee or for a glass of something chilled as the sun goes down. Please note: strictly no children, babies or pets. At certain times of the year there is a 3 night min stay but I may be able to accommodate shorter stays, so please feel free to enquire.
The cottage is in the Village of Mousehole, minutes from the picturesque harbour with its pretty beach, restaurants, and cafes.
  • A perfect stay in a perfect location. We had the most wonderful week staying at Angela’s beautiful cottage and were very sad to leave. The cottage, although small, has everything we could’ve needed and more. The bath in particular was amazing after long breezy walks on the beach. Communication was prompt and Angela’s recommendations were extremely helpful. The cottage is just a (very) short walk away from the harbour, local pub, car park and cafe/restaurants - the Rock Pool cafe is especially lovely. Thank you Angela for a great week away, it was just what we needed and we cannot wait to return!

  • We have just returned from a very enjoyable stay at the Courtyard. We loved the fact that the cottage was so near the harbour and that it was so tastefully decorated inside. Not having parking immediately outside was no problem at all as we were able to park in the public car park by the harbour wall which only cost £3 for 24 hours. The cottage had everything that we needed and it was a real treat to be able to put the log burner on each night. Angela was an excellent host and provided us with lots of advice on what we could do during our stay. We cannot recommend the Courtyard highly enough and we are looking forward to staying there again in the future.

  • Angela’s cottage is absolutely perfect .... I have not a single negative thing to report. We had a fabulously romantic Valentine’s weekend here and Angela is an amazing host, quick to respond to queries and she even left us some red roses .... such a lovely touch. I can’t fault this place and Mousehole itself is totally delightful as well. Please come stay here if you ever get chance ... you won’t be disappointed.

  • We knew from the reviews that it was going to be lovely and a high spec but still it was a pleasant surprise when we looked around- the bathroom is fantastic and the kitchen, although small, is perfectly equipped. It is a very tiny house but perfect for two people. Cosy and comfortable. We lit a fire both nights (turned off the wall heaters as too hot) as we couldn’t resist the warmth and comfort of the log burner. The little touches were lovely and so unexpected. Thank you Angela ☺️ The steep and narrow staircase (although absolutely fine for us) would be too difficult for older people with limited mobility and my OH found the very comfortable bed a bit hard for him (but he is like the Princess and the pea). We would happily return in a heartbeat and will certainly recommend it to all our friends. Wonderful 😁

    Liz2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful little cottage with everything you need! Extra touches with the log fire and amazing bath made it even better! Perfect location, and would definitely return. Would of loved to stay for longer.

  • We had a lovely weekend at Angela's. She sent us a list of recommended places to eat and activities beforehand, which made the trip totally stress-free. The house was fantastic - it had everything you would need in the kitchen and a cosy living room. We made use of the fireplace in the living room with the wood she provided, which was a really nice touch in the winter. The bathroom was huge with a bath tub and the bed was one of the most comfortable we'd ever stayed on. Would highly recommend for a romantic weekend away.

    Mariam2020-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • Number 4 is such a gorgeous space, cosy hygge-tastic, fresh and white decor, clean with lovely appliances and a super comfy bed. We loved our two nights there pottering down to the Rockpool cafe and to look at the harbour lights, with a wood burning stove. We’d high recommend it as a great base for Mousehole (it’s moments from the centre) and hope to be back!

    Rosie2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed at Angela’s cottage (for the second time) to see in the new year. The cottage was immaculately clean and the Christmas tree, lighting, and decoration, just made our arrival and stay that extra bit special. The bathroom is pure luxury (need heated flooring in our lives!!) with the most wonderful rain shower, along with the deepest bath, which was perfect after a 5 mile coastal walk. Can not recommend this cottage highly enough. Angela is a wonderful host, with her attention to detail and extra touches making the stay a truly memorable experience. Thanks again, Angela, it’s been amazing, and we definitely be back at some point.

Abbey Place Net Loft is converted from an old loft used by fishermen to hang and mend their nets. Located right in the centre of Mousehole about 10 metres back from the harbour this cosy little cottage benefits from modern functionality whilst keeping all it's historic charm. The property is set over two floors with a bright and airy lofted living area upstairs and double bedroom and bathroom downstairs.
Please note that there is a sofa bed in the lounge, so as well as 2 guests staying in the double bedroom, it is possible for up to 2 children or a 3rd adult to stay on the sofa bed if you so wish. The AirBnB guest settings don't allow for this when entering numbers (as it is basically a 1 double bedroom property) but it is perfectly ok to use the sofa bed. Do let me know though so I can arrange for extra bedding to be left out.
The poet Dylan Thomas described Mousehole as the loveliest village in England, although many Cornishman would dispute that this part of the world can be described as England! With old world charm, its streets are filled with many art galleries, small shops, and restaurants. The sheltered harbour contains a small beach suitable for families. There are a number of lovely walks that can be undertaken from Mousehole. The most popular is along the coastal path around to the next cove, Lamorna where you can stop for refreshment at the Lamorna Wink pub. Please check opening hours though before you set off as it is not open all day. There are a number of restaurants, pubs and cafes in Mousehole: • The Ship Inn (Free Wi-Fi) - the nearest pub to Abbey Place Net Loft, located about 50 metres away by the harbour side. The pub remains at the heart of the very friendly local community and offers a traditional English pub food menu. • The Old Coastguard (Free Wi-Fi) - bar and award winning restaurant located in sub-tropical gardens leading to the sea with relaxed ambience and fantastic sea views. • 2 Fore Street, Mousehole - a lovely bistro in Mousehole that's style is very popular. An affordable menu that reflects the catch and the season. • 'Hole Foods Deli & Cafe - with lovely views across the harbour this local deli offers a selection of breads, sandwiches, coffee, cold meats and cheese as well as lots of other local produce. • Rock Pool Cafe (Free Wi-Fi) - located on top of the rocks above the old Mousehole rock pool this charming cafe is great for cakes, coffee and lunch whilst enjoying the unparalleled sea views. There is even a nice cosy snug outside for those lucky enough to find it not already occupied by other customers!
  • The Net Loft is a clean and cosy space that is perfectly located right near the harbour. We had everything we needed to relax, the bed was comfy and we had lots of utensils to use in the kitchen which was so helpful for cooking meals. It was cold outside but the heaters warmed the small space quickly. Check in was easy and our stay was uncomplicated. Mousehole is a great base to explore the local area.

  • Fantastic location. Everything you could need. Warm and cosy.

    Sharon2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Andy's place is perfect and just as described. It is a wonderful location and like us you'll probably be torn between exploring all the Mousehole area has to offer and enjoying relaxing at Net Loft. Andy was a superhost responding very quickly. The details he sent prior to our visit were excellent. We would highly recommend Andy's place.

Just moments from the harbour and tucked away in a beautiful little garden right in the heart of Mousehole is The Hideaway. Step inside to an inviting living space with a large comfy bed, table and chairs and a little 'hidden' kitchen for independence with kettle, toaster, fridge and sink. The Hideaway is a simple base from which to explore this lovely part of Cornwall.
The Hideaway is behind my parents house. A separate, self contained annex, with a private entrance. There is one large room which overlooks the gated back garden, with a comfy bed, table and chairs, chest of draws and wardrobe. There is also a little cupboard kitchen with fridge, kettle and toaster. There are a selection of teas, coffee and cereal for you to help yourself to. There is an en-suit bathroom with shower, fluffy towels and toiletries. The Hideaway is located in the centre of Mousehole. Only two minutes walk from the harbour and its little beaches. It is also within minutes walk of the local cafes, restaurants and pubs.
Mousehole is a really pretty little fishing village located in the far South West of England. As the years go by its gaining popularity has resulted in some lovely restaurants and cafes popping up, along with some great little galleries and shops. There are lovely walks to be had both locally and in the surrounding area, and masses of things to see and do if you fancy venturing out. In the Hideaway there is lots of information on the local attractions and I am always happy to help with any information you may need or questions you may have.
  • The Hideaway is a cosy little retreat in the lovely village of Mousehole. The deli, pub and restaurant are all excellent and worth a visit. We had an amazing time and enjoyed being close to the harbour and other beautiful Cornish villages and towns. The space itself is perfectly appointed, warm and feels like a little hidden gem. The private parking makes it fantastic value for money, especially in a little village like Mousehole. Chloe was a great host, great communication and hospitality.

    Nicola2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our time in Mousehole. The accommodation is beautiful, with high quality finishes, and in a perfect location. The lock box check in is easy and unlike other annex style accommodation we’ve previously stayed in you don’t feel overlooked at all. It was excellent value and we would definitely stay again.

    Naomi2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing comfortable stay! Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Mousehole!

  • The Hideaway is quite the find - tucked away behind a larger house and quiet enough to completely relax in a beautiful seaside village. Chloe was very helpful and quick to respond; check in was easy and the accommodation had all the necessary amenities (except cooking facilities). Chloe’s parents (who live nearby) were welcoming and offered us advice on the best places to visit during our stay. All in all a brilliant place to stay.

    James2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at the Hideaway. The place was immaculate and there were lovely touches to welcome us. It had all we needed and was in the perfect location. Great to have parking too. Communication was very easy. Thanks so much Chloe.

  • GERMAN VERSION BELOW: Wow, it's the perfect get-away-spot for us. Calm and relaxing flat, absolutely no noise (except for the gulls), only 2 minutes from the mousehole harbor with cafes, little shops, restaurants and pubs. The flat is at a great location for trips to Penzance, St Ives, Minarck-Theather or lands end. All within 30min of driving. Or you can hike for miles and miles along the coast. The flat itself had everything we needed. Great comfy bed, a very clean and modern bathroom, nice chairs and plenty of storage for clothes, wellies, etc. So got a tellie, which we never used. Special probs to the kitchen, which is hidden in a wardrobe. Very smart solution with the most important bits, such as fridge, sink, toaster and, sort of to British households, a cattle. Cooking however is not possible. Contact with Chloe is easy, she will reply within short time. Her parents are super nice, too and, if wanted, are at help lookingings tips where to go. So in a total of 5 out of 5! Madness, what a perfect place to switch off properly. A quiet and relaxed spot, no noise (apart from a few gulls) and only a few minutes walk from the small harbor in Mousehole. In the village itself, there are cafés, restaurants, small shops and typical pubs everything you need. The property is in a perfect location for exploring the far end of England. Penzance, St Ives, Minarck-Theather and Lands End are each less than 30 minutes away by car. Or you decide to hike along the exciting coastline. The accommodation itself has everything you could wish for and what you need. A super comfortable bed, a clean (and almost new bathroom), two comfortable chairs and enough room for clothes, rubber boots, etc. Also a TV, which we never used. Special recognition for the clever kitchen solution! Hidden in a closet hides a very well-designed kitchen with fridge, sink, dishes, toaster and kettle, which should not be missed! However, it is not possible to cook. The contact with Chloe turned out to be very simple. Calls, messages, etc. were answered within a short time. Also her parents, who live next door, were very nice and offered small tips for excursions. Overall, it was perfect for us! 5 out of 5 stars!

Best described by previous guests; Fall straight into Cornish time with lazy mornings, long days and joyful returns. mOlly mUppeT is hidden amongst the houses behind the owners cottage and she soon becomes a real home and a stunning place to explore. So very cute in every way, the attention to detail is second to none. The bed was like sleeping on a fluffy cloud, whilst the garden was a little piece of heaven. A memorable base for a memorable holiday! (Facebook/Instagram @mollymuppetcottage.)
Although tucked away, mOlly mUppet is just a two minute walk to the harbour, small beach, pub, shops, galleries and restaurants. It's also ideally located for exploring West Cornwall with St Michael's Mount, St Ives, Lands End, Penzance and The Lizard peninsular all within easy reach. " A delightful yet humble cottage that wraps its arms around you as soon as you walk through the door." mOlly is a quirky and unique labour of love. No airs and graces it is just designed with everything you need and everything close at hand. Hand made furniture sits alongside local art and the decoration is in calming colours. The downstairs open space includes a two seater sofa and wood burning stove. There is also a built in small kitchen, a pantry and a cosy eating area for two. One of the two entrance doors leads to the garden. - Wifi, tv, fridge with ice box, microwave, electric cooker and 2 ring ceramic hob. A wooden spiral staircase leads up to the light and airy bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom has an exposed ceiling and two windows. The bed can be made up as a superking or twins. There is clever hanging space with both under bed and bedside table storage. - radio, bed linen and towels (please bring your own beach towels). The small bathroom has a velux window, toilet, hand basin, heated towel rail and thermostatic electric shower. In true Cornish fashion there is a roof beam that goes through the cubicle! Those over 6'3" will have to crouch a little! Outside there is a large established garden with gravelled pathways and various places to rest and unwind.
The neighbourhood is a step back in time when community was at the heart of all places. People can often be found chatting in the street and passing the time of day. Help is never far away and it is a comfortingly safe place to be. A watch is never needed as time is your own. It would be easy to while away your entire stay without even getting in your car again. mOlly has been lucky enough to meet a huge variety of guests from this country and afar. I look forward to welcoming everyone. There have been writers, artists, couples, individuals, walkers, sight seers and retreaters. Those celebrating special occasions, enjoying a romantic getaway or cherishing time alone. As Valerie Pybus an Australian author wrote " the perfectplace to leave your cares behind and become enfolded by the unforgettable Cornish village: where in the harbour the gulls call with joy and the little boats dance with delight."
  • Lovely little place and very well taken care of! Perfect for a romantic weekend away. Loved the fire, and there was even some scones, jam, and clotted cream for us when we arrived!

    Sarah2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Such a fantastic, welcoming and homely cottage - wonderfully designed, and lovely touches from Peachy including fresh scones on arrival. The location in Mousehole is perfect - just 1 minute from the pretty harbour area and it’s pubs and shops, but nevertheless quiet and peaceful.

  • What can I say...Molly is a fantastic little place to stay, a couple of minutes walk from Mousehole harbour and all the local amenities. Peachy is a wonderful host and has everything covered, from advice on things to do, to having Molly’s kitchen fully equipped!! We had a lovely New Year break and would definitely visit again. Highly recommended!!

The house is easy to find and centrally located in Mousehole. Peachy is also very warm and welcoming, and made us feel very at home. Highly recommended!

Only a stones throwaway from the delightful charismatic harbour and beaches, 2 The Net Loft forms part of the original listed Net Loft property dating back over 200 years, once the hub of the fishing life of the village, where the fishermen treated their nets. We bought number 2 in 2012, loving restoring and updating it to a home from home enchanting property. • 2 The Net Loft is a perfect bolthole from which to explore the area. We came on the overnight train to Penzance and then bought a 7-day bus ticket which still provided good value for 4 days. We visited St Ives, Penzance (daily), Newly (several times) and Maraizon for At Michael's Mount. It was great to have somewhere so cosy and warm to return to every day. This was a very clean and comfortable apartment with everything we needed

  • It was exactly as described and better. Clean, warm, cosy and perfect location. The apartment comes with everything you need and more. The first thing to notice was the fast response from Cheryl when communicating and the easy and hassle free check-in. The apartment is spotless! Parking was a short walk away and the apartment is very warm with just the heating but extra blankets are provided if visiting in the winter months. I highly recommend Cheryl’s place whenever visiting that area, couldn’t have had a better stay!

Legion Cottage is a stunning granite cottage with the right balance of tradition and style. It has all the charm and quirks of a space that's over 300 years old, making it the perfect way to experience a taste of true seaside village life. With an open plan downstairs and gorgeous loft bedroom upstairs, as well as a small extra bedroom, it's the perfect place for a couple's or family getaway. The cafes, artist's galleries, and the sandy beach of Mousehole are right on your doorstep!
The downstairs is open plan, with a full kitchen, bar or desk area (use it as you choose!) and a living space with a wood burner to keep you cozy on chilly nights. You are welcome to use the kitchen, which we leave well stocked. The washer/dryer and TV are downstairs. It's a smart HD TV, so don't forget your Netflix password - you can log in to any streaming service you use via the WiFi and watch all your favorite shows. There is a private back courtyard which is the perfect place to hose off sandy feet and hang wetsuits and swimsuits. There is a charcoal barbecue in the courtyard, and some beach toys for you to borrow. Upstairs is an airy loft, which is the main bedroom, with high ceilings and big windows that let in plenty of light and give you glimpses of the sea. (Please note there is no door on the main bedroom from downstairs, the stairs lead right into the loft.) Off the loft is a small second bedroom with space for up to two children, or you can use the daybed as a cozy reading corner. Because we often get asked: the bed in the main bedroom is a double, the beds in the second bedroom are small singles (2.5 feet wide). Also, there is a small extra fee for making up the single beds, as we rent the linens and get charged for additional cleaning, but we only want to charge guests for what they actually use. Please make sure that the number of guests in your booking is accurate, and if you request an extra bed made up, know that we will add an extra fee. The bathroom is also upstairs with a tub, electric shower, and hair dryer. Towels and organic toiletries from a local business are supplied for you.
This cottage is located right in the heart of Mousehole on a pedestrian street. One of the best restaurants in Cornwall, Two Fore Street, is about 4 houses down from us, and right next door is the Trewavas Free House, a vibrant local pub. The pub has pool tables and Sky TV, so don't worry about missing the Saturday afternoon football. Although Mousehole is small, it has several other great places to grab a pint or a bite to eat. We recommend the Old Coastguard Hotel for food and drinks, or for an old-world pub feel - the Ship Inn can't be beat. The Mousehole Deli is the best place for coffee and informal meals (morning fry-ups, soups and sandwiches at lunch, cream teas, cakes, and lots of vegan and gluten-free options). The Rock Pool Cafe in the main car park is a close second, and the best place to be on a sunny day to have a tea watching the waves. Other Mousehole activities include the beach (of course), boat trips out to the island in summer, the coastal path hike to Lamorna (and beyond) which is about a 5-minute walk out of the village, and plenty of little shops and galleries to pick up the perfect souvenir.
  • Gorgeous cottage in the heart of Mousehole with everything you could want and delightful added extras to make our stay even more enjoyable.

    Sarah2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely cottage, beautifully decorated and great location. The hosts were extremely hospitable, would absolutely recommend!

    Kate2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • A gorgeous little cottage in a fantastic location. The eggs, bread and wine were a lovely touch. I would highly recommend. The coastal walk to Lamorna Cove is beautiful and nothing beats sitting in the window seat of Hole Delicatessen with a good coffee and an amazing view. There was a little street noise as customers left the pub next door but not really a problem. Probably worth mentioning that the main bedroom is a Mezzanine and you need to walk through it to access the second bedroom and bathroom.

  • Absolutely perfect location and the house has everything one needs for a perfect stay.

  • What a cozy and thoughtfully curated cottage! Every corner of this fisherman's cottage is as welcoming as it is photogenic, and Alicia is a thorough host, having left us detailed instructions beside fresh eggs and a loaf of tasty bread. We very much enjoyed a restful stay in Mousehole thanks to the beautiful fireplace and the comfy rooms upstairs, and hope to return to this lovely corner of Cornwall someday. In short, Legion Cottage exceeded all of our expectations and we couldn't recommend it highly enough!

The cottage has a cosy sitting room and separate kitchen/dining room on the ground floor. Upstairs there are two bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a double bed and attached bathroom. Bedroom 2 has two single beds with attached toilet and washbasin.
Mousehole is a small fishing village. The terraces of cottages and winding narrow streets have a magic and aesthetic all of their own. • Fantastic location. What a wonderful place for a family holiday. Perfect.

  • We had a great time at Barbara's Quay Cottage! Everything worked out great, Mrs Scott, our local contact person took great care to make us as comfortable as possible. The apartment is really cute and special and nothing was missing. Thanks a lot!

    Kirsten2019-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • A well equipped cottage well placed for exploring Mousehole, seeing the sights and hearing the sounds of the village. Busy in the daytime but beautifully peaceful in the evening/at night.

  • This place is really charming and in a must-have location. The parking is totally manageable, jus bring along plenty of coins.

  • The Location is wonderful. Looking out to harbour boats a stone's throw from the sea. Lovely cosy cottage. You can park outside the cottage in a small car park for about £20 for 7 days. Not far from St Ives, Carbis Bay, Marazion, Land's end, The Minack Theatre, Penzance etc. Eats wise you have '2 Fore Street' restaurant which is great... 'Rockpool Cafe' where it's lovely to sit with the rocks and sea literally below you.... 'Ben's Kitchen' in Marazion is gorgeous with lovely relaxed staff and more gourmet food.... Bacon butty at Perranuthnoe beach cafe a must (great beach)... 'Taste' restaurant in St Agnes is also beautiful. The beach at St Agnes is mega and has fine eating places to enjoy as you watch the kids squash each other's sand castles (hilarious).... and a beach restaurant in Newquay ( a lovely location that comes as a surprise after driving through the town) called the 'Lusty Glaze'. We'll be back for sure.

  • Beautiful and quaint cottage, quite literally a stone's throw from the beach in a quiet village. Perfect for a family holiday. Wonderfully maintained and decorated and spotlessly clean too. Thank you for a fabulous week!

Beautiful granite cottage located near the centre of Mousehole, with sea views from most windows. The cottage also benefits from a private garden and most importantly, private, off street parking for one car. A perfect cottage for families, couples, children, pets, walkers, surfers and those wanting a base to explore West Cornwall. .
Mousehole Cottage is a beautiful Cornish cottage, with fantastic, panoramic sea views and private parking. Completed in 2008 the property is located just off the main Parade and only 60 metres from the harbour. Well appointed and beautifully furnished this cottage offers a high standard of accommodation for 6 people in this sought after location. The cottage is surrounded by a compact, private and well-maintained garden with large garden table and chairs with sea views. Mousehole, described by Dylan Thomas as “the loveliest village in England” is a traditional, picture postcard Cornish harbour with small sandy beach ideal for little ones at the far end. Mousehole is made up of winding streets, alleyways, old net lofts, art galleries, gift shops and several very good pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are many sandy beaches nearby, Porthcurno and Sennen to name but a few. The larger historic town of Penzance is 3 miles away with a wider range of shops, supermarkets, leisure centre, outdoor lido, pubs and critically acclaimed restaurants. The Scillonian ferry runs from Penzance to the stunning Scilly Isles.
  • Mousehole cottage is a delightful place to stay. From the welcome basket from Phaedra to watching the seals and gannets from the sitting room window made the whole experience special. It was only a very short walk down to the harbour and we enjoyed some really fresh fish and chips at the Ship Inn. The St. Austell brewery beer went down a treat as well. Mousehole is ideally located to reach local beaches and countryside walks. As we stayed in late February we could have some of the beaches almost to ourselves! We had a dog with us as well and he had a great time on both the walks and beaches. I can recommend Mousehole cottage without hesitation.

  • Charming, character filled cottage. Great location with sea views and the sounds of seagulls and breaking waves. We even got a lovely welcome basket. I would stay again.

  • Mousehole Cottage is the perfect place to stay within the beautiful Harbour Village of Mousehole. The views are stunning and you are a short 1 minute walk from the Harbour, pub and restaurant. The cottage itself caters for your every need; bright clean decor, comfortable furniture and beds, a large log fire that is perfect for evenings in with a glass of wine. Second time that we’ve stayed at the cottage and I’m sure it won’t be the last.

    Simon2019-11-01T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at Mousehole Cottage. The location was perfect, within a stone's throw of Mousehole Harbour with lovely view of the sea from the cottage. The cottage is lovely and very well appointed with everything you need, the welcome goodies were a nice touch. We stayed with our 3 year old and 1 year old and it was perfect. We enjoyed exploring, playing and swimming in the harbour, along with exploring local attractions and beaches. We'll be back!

Starhaze is a pretty fisherman’s cottage filled with original features with a contemporary feel and a few little luxuries thrown in for good measure. Nestled down a narrow street it is only 300 metres from the sea. Just a few steps from the door you will find a pretty harbour, beach, restaurants, pubs and galleries.
This traditional fisherman’s cottage is well appointed with a fresh, clean decor. Living Located on the first floor and running from front to back is a generous living space, making the most of the light that floods through the windows from morning to twilight. At the back of the property is what we call the reading room. It has glimpses of the sea from the windows and captures all of the morning light. It is equipped with a chaise, bespoke chair and a small desk. The decor is designed to subtly nod to the history of the cottage. At the front is a cosy sitting room complete with thick stone walls, log burner and a luxurious velvet sofa. The decor is a little warmer to reflect the stone and is perfect for a cosy night in front of the fire and the SmartTV. Due to the higgledy-piggledy nature of the ancient cottages in Mousehole, there is part of another cottage above part of Starhaze. You might from time to time hear some footsteps from above. Eating You enter the cottage into a lovely beamed kitchen. Contemporary units blend with a gorgeous stone floor; cool under foot in the summer but with underfloor heating for when the weather turns a little colder. The butler sink blends well with the clean decor and modern appliances which add a touch of luxury to this modern well appointed hideaway. Sleeping You’ll have no trouble falling asleep in this tranquil bedroom. A king size bed with fresh white linens and simple decor provide a perfect place to snuggle down at the end of the day. The under floor heating and SmartTV are added luxury. Bathing The en-suite bathroom (with additional door to the kitchen) has everything you would expect of this lovely property, including under floor heating and soft fluffy towels. Parking Like most of the properties in Mousehole, Starhaze doesn’t have parking. However, you can bring your car to the cottage for a bag drop before parking on the harbour. Dogs Well behaved dogs (and owners!) are welcome. There is an additional cleaning fee of £35 per dog per stay (or week if you are staying longer).
  • Great little cottage with everything you need for a cosy, comfortable stay.

Mousehole is a picturesque fishing village on the south coast of Cornwall between Penzance and Land's End, that has retained much of its old-world charm. The narrow streets are filled with galleries, small shops and restaurants. Local cottages, built from Lamorna granite, cluster together around the inner edge of the harbour; these are protected from the force of the sea by two robust breakwaters. Parking in the village is extremely limited due to the narrow roads and visitors are encouraged to park on the outskirts of the village, or in the quay car parks. The Mousehole Christmas lights are famous throughout Cornwall and are well worth visiting. They are tuned off for one hour on the 19th December on the anniversary of the Penlee Lifeboat tragedy. Mousehole is famed for the lantern parade on Tom Bawcock's Eve held on 23rd December. The children's book, The Mousehole Cat by Antonia Barber, and the television production of the same name, were inspired by the tale of Tom Bawcock and Mousehole's own traditional dish of Stargazy Pie.Just offshore from the harbour is St Clement's Isle, a small group of rocks where an ancient hermit was said to have lived. Boat tours of the coast from the harbour are available. A few hundred yards along from the village is a huge cave, which is believed to give rise to the village's unusual name. This is unlikely but the origin of the name is still a mystery. It is possible to walk west along the Coastal Path to Lamorna Cove, or past Lamorna to the Tater Du lighthouse. Inland is the lovely village of Paul and beyond it lie several stone circles and megalithic sites. To the east is Newlyn, the largest fishing port in the South West.
  • The comfort and location of this home couldn't be better. Between the view and being right in the middle of things, one could be content to just stay in, except that the pub and the coffee shop are so near that it's impossible to resist visiting them. This is our 13th Airbnb in 2 months and we settled in feeling very at home here to enjoy a nice rest for a week. We truly do hope to come back. Wow!

The Little Net Loft was converted in the 19th century into a dwelling from the open area where fishermen used to hang their nets out to dry. I've owned it since 2015 and have enjoyed every minute of having such a characterful property in the charming and vibrant village of Mousehole. It was lovingly refurbished this year turning it into light and airy accommodation which is situated only 15 metres from the historic Mousehole harbour with its sandy beaches. Nestled at the back of a courtyard and up a flight of granite steps, the stable style front door opens into the living room which is furnished with a cosy Morso wood burner for those chilly nights. The exposed floorboards have been white washed and are enhanced with rattan rugs. As well as a two seater sofa, there is a Lloyd Loom chair which adds charm to any room. There is also a dining table for two and a blanket box style coffee table. For when the weather is slightly inclement, the SMART TV and chromecast attachment give our guests access to their favourite channels, Internet and Netflix. There is also a DVD player and Bose sound system. WiFi in the Little Net Loft is supported by BT Infinity which operates a download speed of up to 55 Mbps. The original granite wall really sets off the bedroom which has a double bed with a king sized duvet, a walk-in wardrobe and a sash window which looks out onto the outside decking area. The bright bathroom has an electric shower, heated towel rail and velux window. The separate kitchen is well equipped with under counter fridge, electric cooker, washer/ drier, microwave and toaster. We also provide beach chairs and a picnic rug so that you can enjoy the harbour beaches. Mousehole has a wonderful selection of restaurants, pubs and cafés as well as art galleries and gift shops. It's located 3.2 miles from Penzance which has mainline train connections to London Paddington. As it was originally a fishing village, parking is limited to the approach roads (free) and to the harbour and main car parks (paying). I live only 10 minutes away and am therefore available for anything that you may need to ensure that your stay is an enjoyable one. Strictly two adults only. No children, no babies of any age or pets of any size.
  • A fantastic place to stay, Jacqueline is very helpful, she had some great local tips for the area. The cottage is beautiful, it is done to a very high standard and has everything you want. The little extras of home made scones cream and jam were wonderful. Jacqueline is a brilliant host, this was the best air b&b we have stayed in.

    Sonia2019-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • My partner and I had a great stay at this wonderful little find! The space was well equipped and decorated lovely, we had everything we needed. Plus the extra touches of scones, jam, cream and wine were fab! Only thing I’d say is that I’m not a fan of the feathered duvet but apart from that everything was wonderful. Great base to explore and enjoy Cornwall and so close to the Harbour and sea views!

    Shannon2019-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • Jacqueline was the perfect host right from the very beginning with swift communication and greeting us on arrival. The cottage is beautifully cosy and clean and had everything you could need or want. Little touches like home-made scones on arrival, fresh flowers and little toiletries really show how much care Jacqueline takes in really making you feel at home. We wouldn't hesitate in re-booking this lovely place in Mousehole or in recommending it to family and friends. Thank you for such a fantastic break.

    Rebecca2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Little Net Loft is very well located just around the corner from the beautiful Mousehole Harbor. There are several restaurants and shops and a traditional pub within a short stroll. The cottage is cozy and perfect for two. It is well equipped with everything we needed plus more. Jacqueline is a great host who is so nice and answered all our questions. Parking is close for 3 pounds per day.

  • The Little Net Loft is a lovely ,cosy , beautifully decorated and well equipped place to stay . Lots of little luxuries were provided including a yummy cream tea .Great location , literally a minutes walk from the harbour . We didn’t find parking a problem , either parking by the harbour (£3 for 24 hours) or just up the road ( free). Jacqueline is a super host , very quick with her responses to any queries and was there to welcome us and show us around the net loft and offer us advice regarding our stay in the area . Would love to come back to Mousehole and the little net loft .

    Michelle2019-10-06T00:00:00Z

  • They were very nice days in the cosy little Netloft. The loving little gifts like scones made it a home. I like to come back.

    Anja2019-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • We spent a week at the little net Loft and cannot recommend it enough for a relaxing break in Cornwall. It was spotless, stylish and really well equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect, we spent a lot of time exploring the local area, lovely beaches and walking the South West coast path. The local pubs and restaurants were fantastic and the facilities at the little net loft allowed us to have some evenings in, utilising the fresh fish suppliers nearby. The extra touches that Jacqueline provided such as fresh flowers and scones went beyond what I’d normally expect from an Airbnb and she made us feel very welcome, thank you again!

Hello and a warm welcome.. Looking for a unique, rustic, quirky, tranquil and cosy getaway.. ?
Merrifield Lodge came into existence 25 years ago. Our unique family built cabin started off as a simple garden shed with the aim to use as an art studio for myself to paint in. Over the years various family members have stayed here and being part of a large family, the 'shed' gradually extended in an unusual and organic manner whereby reclaimed materials (mainly wood) were used to attach rooms to accommodate an ever growing family. Now all the family members have moved on and found a foot in the world we’ve decided to share our beloved cabin with you. Merrifield Lodge is a quirky wooden cabin with a warm, cosy and welcoming feeling, full of charm and tons of character.
The kings arms pub in the village just a short walk away that serves homemade meals throughout the day. No need to get in a car for those who enjoy walking, the location is surrounded by open fields, there are many fantastic walks in all directions.. great for Dogs! Those who are interested in historic sites the Merry Maidens stone circle is a lovely 45 minute walk across the fields too.
  • A gorgeous hideaway - perfect for a two night break away! Loved this place!!

  • What a lovely place, quite quirky. Loved Claire's artwork. Nice, clean and well equipped. Was quite cold when we returned (we didn't want to waste electric leaving heaters on whilst we were out for the day) and took a little while to warm up, but was nice and cosy with all the heaters on! Never met Claire, but communication prior to departure was good.

  • The Duck Net is a fantastic, cosy place and a perfect base to explore Mousehole and beyond. We felt right at home as soon as we arrived. Highly recommended and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Steve's communication and directions were spot on.

  • We had a wonderful time staying in this stylish, cosy loft space. Brilliant location in a picturesque setting. Would highly recommend.

  • This is a lovely, characterful coastal hideaway which has been really nicely designed, we particularly loved the carpentry! A gorgeous place in a perfect location which had everything we needed. Mousehole is a special place, well situated for walking to St Michael's Mount and for a beautiful coastal walk to the Minack Theatre/Porthcurno beach or even Land's end. We were without a car so were happy it was very close to the bus stop and main village restaurant, cafe and pub. Steve's replies were quick, friendly and helpful and we really appreciated the flowers and biscuits on arrival. Sure we will be back!

    Natalie2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect haven to base yourself in to explore Mousehole and many other beautiful locations which are all in within a 20 minute drive. Lots of lovely touches on our arrival, like a beautiful vase of sunflowers waiting for us. A perfect place where we enjoyed one of our favourite holidays.

  • Great location close to Mousehole Harbor and the Southwest Coastal Path. Very cute space. No accessible—lots of stairs—but worked well for our needs.

Mousehole Village is secluded, full of charm and beauty. A safe harbour & beach within 200 metres from the property. My place is close to restaurants and dining, the beach, family-friendly activities, public transport, and nightlife. You’ll love my place because of the neighbourhood, the light, the comfy bed, and the cosiness. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids).
One bedroom with a super comfy bed and ensuite bathroom. There is also a sofa bed for toddlers etc. Please let us know beforehand if extra linen required for SofaBed
Amazing coastal walks, along quaint harbours and spectacular coastlines. Local pubs & fine eateries are only metres away

  • Awesome place to stay and get away from it all. Just a short walk from the harbour which was great as no passing day visitors, super clean and comfy with all you need in a place to chill and stay. we parked our car and never moved it as the public transport is so reliable and less stressful when it comes to parking again. The Ship Inn is a great to place to eat and really friendly.

  • This place is truly wonderful. It's an amazing little space. The bed was SO comfy with lovely linen. A very thoughtful touch having biscuits and wine too. Very kind. The place was lovely and clean and airy and we can't wait to come back.... Maybe in the winter so we can make good use of the log burner! It's a stone's throw from the beautiful harbour and we met one of the lovely neighbours too. Heaven!

A cosy fireplace, sunlit glass floors, beamed ceilings, and a designer touch throughout. Upstairs is an open-plan bedroom with a beautiful white wood beam double height ceiling and super kingsize bed - there is a stunning walk-in shower and sink area with a beautiful hammered bronze basin. Downstairs, Harbour Moon’s open-plan kitchen and living area is fully equipped for a self-catered holiday by the sea. Here you are perfectly positioned to watch the world go by from the large comfortable sofa, or sit with a glass of wine in front of the wood burning stove. Upstairs is an open-plan bedroom made particularly memorable thanks to the white wooden beamed double height ceiling. The bed’s unique headboard doubles as a room divider and dressing table with plenty of storage for clothes. Behind this is a generous walk-in shower and sink area with a beautiful hammered bronze basin. A super king-size custom made bed sits against a headboard inset with rows of rope and chain evocative of the harbour details outside. Lie on your bed and watch the bobbing boats drift past the harbour wall and listen to the waves crashing against the sand as you sleep. Light will form an important part of your stay, particularly since part of the bedroom floor is made of glass, allowing for each ray of sunshine to beam inside. Idyllic, romantic and reminiscent of a film set, Harbour Moon is an unrivalled rental cottage for a break by the sea.
Harbour Moon is located on Mousehole harbour front. Within a five minute walk there are exceptional restaurants, pubs, and shops. In addition, there are various lovely delis and galleries hidden within the narrow lanes of the village. There is no parking at the property but there are 3 nearby car parks which are charged separately. We do accept small/medium sized dogs at an extra charge of £30 and we kindly ask that dogs do not go on the furniture.

  • A delightfully warm and cosy cottage, this was perfect for our winter get away. You are in close proximity to lots of things to do and you have a couple of fantastic places to eat on your doorstep. I would highly recommend to anyone.

    Nick2019-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • Stunning location. Clean, warm and welcoming. A lot of ‘mod cons’ around the place, but it did not lose the ‘Fisherman’s Cottage’ feel to it which we loved. The only downfall was the parking, but there was a car park 100m away with reasonable charge. We will DEFINITELY visit again!

IDEAL FOR HOLIDAY + BUSINESS. Up to 40% DISCOUNT for weekly/monthly long stay now available. Belgravia Loft is just a 15 min walk from the train/bus station, the Isles of Scilly Ferry Terminal & just around the corner from the cinema, theatre, shops, restaurants and galleries. We are also a gentle 15 min stroll from Jubilee outdoor pool, the harbour, two parks & the promenade. Stunning view of Mounts Bay, St Michaels Mount and Penzance harbour. We welcome singles, couples and business travellers
Your room is on the 2nd floor of this 19th century town house and is accessible through a trap door. As you enter the room you are first greeted by a stunning 180 degree view of the bay through a 3-sided box window. The size of the room is very comfortable: Floor area: 4 x 5 meters (approx) Roof height: 2.2 meters at highest point of pitched roof. Toilet and washing facilities: You have your own en-suite toilet and butler sink which are located within glass block partition walls and are accessible via cafe style swing doors. Kitchen: You also have your own kitchen area where you can prepare breakfast and packed lunches. This consists of a wooden work top, crockery/cutlery for 2 people, mini fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave. Breakfast: Sadly a cooked breakfast is not available but cereal, milk, tea, coffee will be waiting for you when you arrive. Food supplies are easily accessible with a Tesco local, 2 Co-ops, a vegetable shop and an Archie Browns within a 5 minute walk of the house. Shared bathroom: Directly opposite the bottom of the stairs to your room is a spacious toilet and shower room which you are welcome to use. Fire information: We have taken the following the steps to ensure that in the unlikely event of a fire you will be as safe as possible: - Fire buckets and fire extinguishers have been installed on the first floor and in your room. - Smoke alarms have been installed on the ground floor, first floor and in your room. - The hatch door to your room has been made out of fire retardant 18mm plywood - A fire escape rope ladder has been installed in your room. Electricity: There is a £1 coin meter which supplies all the sockets in the room. This will be topped up with £5 which should be enough for your stay. However if you run out simply insert more coins and continue to enjoy your room.
Belgravia Street is a quiet, residential street even though we are very close to the centre of the town. However I feel I should point out that there is a social club further along the street opposite which stages evening events, mainly at the weekends. This means that occasionally there may be a few customers standing outside the club in the evening chatting until 10 or 11pm. The noise is minimal and can be reduced substantially by keeping the front window of your room shut.
  • Andrew and Winnies place was lovely. It is a bright loft conversion and with private kitchen and toilet. There are many nice touches like some cereal and milk and lots of leaflets about the area. It is nice and warm with an electric blanket too. Thanks for a brilliant and relaxing stay!

  • This is a very comfortable room with all amenities and a kitchenette, a beautiful view from the window, you can see St Michael's mountain, a heated bed, the owners take care of the guests, there are information magazines about Cornwall, tea, coffee and much more. Very creative friendly hosts, ready to give you the right information and help, gave the local chocolate. Very friendly and cute cat :) Very good location. I really liked this room, it is comfortable and with all the amenities, and creative people will appreciate the cute interior and cool view from the window. Stunningly

This romantic wooden chalet is situated next to the main house & is a 5 minute walk from the lovely village of Mousehole. It has breath taking sea views across Mounts Bay & towards St Michaels Mount. It is south facing & has a balcony out the front where you can sit and drink in the view. Originally built as a den for my father it houses interesting vintage memorabilia & has a bit of an African vibe. Perfect for two - it is completely self contained with a shower room & dining area.
PLEASE NOTE THE SECOND ROOM IS VERY SMALL AND CONTAINS A SINGLE BED, CHAIR AND CHEST OF DRAWERS - IT HAS A SMALL WINDOW WITH SIDE VIEW. Children are not catered for so please check with me if you wanted to bring an infant/baby before booking as the space is set up for adults only. Tea & coffee facilities are available and crockery/cutlery if you want to prepare cold food or bring back a take away. You can use the fridge which is in a conservatory next to chalet. There are numerous cafes and eateries in the village or in nearby Newlyn (2miles away) or Penzance (3 miles away). Bus from Penzance stops right outside. Parking in driveway if required. Very friendly retired couple live in main house plus Daisy the cat!
The chalet is 5 mins walk to Mousehole Village ('The most beautiful village in England' - Sir John Betjeman) where you will find cafes, a deli, newsagent/post office, gift shops, galleries, ice cream parlours, a pub with restaurant, several really good restaurants and a hotel with bar/restaurant. Please take note; if you are arriving 8pm or later you will find it difficult to get something to eat in Mousehole. We advise to stop off on the way. Booking ahead is also a very good idea as it gets very busy in the village in the spring and summertime. There are 3 main eateries in Mousehole: The Ship Inn - quaint, harbour side village pub with bar and restaurant Tel: 01736 731234 The Coastguard - gorgeous seafront hotel, bar and restaurant Tel: 01736 731222 PLEASE NOTE THIS IS CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE BECAUSE OF A FIRE. 2 Fore Street - small harbour side restaurant with sunny rear courtyard Tel: 01736 731164 I would like to reiterate - these eateries get very busy and don't serve food much after 8 so please book ahead! There are also several cafes and a deli/cafe that all serve great breakfasts plus there is a local shop and Post Office. There are several eateries in newlyn plus a Co Op which is open until 11pm.
  • Wow! What a great little find. A beautiful and quaint chalet in the village of Mousehole. Easy to say that it was the best part of our trip!

  • Loved staying here! The cabin was perfect for us - had everything we needed, including en-suite bathroom, tea and coffee-making facilities (with tea and coffee provided), plus access to a fridge (which we weren't expecting) and a comfy bed. We also liked all the pictures, signs and trinkets decorating the room, which showed a but of the history of Mousehole. The best part was the balcony, wjere we could sit outside each morning with a coffee and enjoy the spectacularsea views.

  • Love rental. Beautiful views over the bay. 5 minutes walk from Mousehole town centre / pubs / restaurants. Cabin is very quaint with good facilities. Well stocked with tea / coffee / all essentials. Well thought out. Would stay there again .

  • Quirky chalet in stunning location, the view is amazing!! Really fun place to stay with the memorabilia and easy to explore the local area. Sarah’s parents were very friendly and helpful. And we very briefly met the cat! Definitely recommend!

    Emily2019-07-11T00:00:00Z
  • This is a very special little cabin that is great for history lovers as the decor offers a unique kind of nostalgia. I doubt we'll find anywhere quite like this lovely cabin again! It's situated very conveniently in the beautiful Mousehole and is in a quiet location with stunning views. It's quite cosy for two adults but sleeps 4; we used the bunk bed room for storage as the bed is in the main room (although there's some storage in the bathroom too). Sarah's parents live next door and were very friendly. We had a lovely time and would definitely recommend Sarah's place.

Sunny Corner is a stylish and comfortable apartment for couples to relax and rest throughout the year - out on the terrace for breakfast and evening drinks in the summer and cuddling up in front of the wood stove on autumn or winter evenings. It is intended to combine the amenities of an elegant hotel suite with the convenience of self catering accommodation to combine the best of both worlds.
Sunny Corner has its own entrance into a downstairs entrance hall and stairs up to the first floor living, kitchen and dining area with a separate double bedroom and en- suite shower room. Outside is a terrace area (approx 9 square metres) with views over the passers by below and of the sea through the roof tops opposite The kitchen area is equipped with an oven, microwave, two ring electric hob, fridge with ice box, dishwasher and combined washing machine/tumble dryer, cutlery, china and adequate cooking utensils for times when our guests prefer to cater for themselves. We provide breakfast essentials for the first few days of our guests' stay - milk, bread, eggs, jams, tea, coffee and sugar. Further supplies can be obtained from the village shop/post office on the harbour front in the village.
With its safe harbour, sheltered beaches, and narrow, winding streets lined with old granite fishermen’s cottages, Mousehole was described by Dylan Thomas as the prettiest village in England. Visit galleries, restaurants, cafes, and the village pub.
  • Spent a weekend away with the my husband and thoroughly loved this property. It was well stocked with high quality essentials in the kitchen and bathroom. Beutifully decorated throughout, inluding local art. No expense has been spared. The log fire on a cool March night was especially welcome with a glass of wine after lovely meal at 2 Fore Street. Even without the log fire the heaters worked well to keep things cozy. We even appreciated the balcony with sea glimpses between rain showers (it was March). Breakfast cereals, eggs, milk, fresh bread, butter and jam was much appreciated. We highly recommend this property and would not hesitate to book again.

Lovely touches such as fresh bread, milk, butter, eggs, cereals, tea, coffee etc., and the wood burner was much appreciated in the evenings as storm Dennis came and went. Would definitely recommend Sunny Corner!

  • Highly recommend Sunny Corner! It’s a wonderful cozy flat, the perfect size for two people. It was extremely clean and looked newly renovated. The log fire worked like a charm. Andrew welcomed us to the flat when we first arrived then left us to enjoy the weekend. Mousehole is a really nice, quiet village too. Not a huge amount to do but very picturesque. We were lucky enough to be there to see the Christmas lights, which were beautiful. Thanks Andrew and Judy!

    Jim2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely quiet cozy spot. Andrew and Judy left us with some very thoughtful welcome gifts, and kept us well informed of events over the new year period which we very much appreciated!

    Rob2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Andrew and Judy's place is beautifully decorated and provides all you need for a lovely trip to Mousehole. It has it's own entrance and car parking in the harbour car park is just a very short walk away. They are excellent hosts, providing all the information you need and even leaving a welcome card and bottle of wine as well as a collection of locally sourced products to settle you in. Mousehole is charming and I would definitely recommend staying at Sunny Cottage. We would love to come back another time!

  • As many guests have said this place is a gem. Fabulous position, offering very comfortable accommodation with a very responsive host. You could not do better really. Oh and a Michelin recommended restaurant a few steps away. Very special.

    Kym2019-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • Blue cat cottage is brilliantly positioned for instant access to the village centre and this cottage makes a brilliant base for exploring Mousehole and further afield. Sue was attentive and checked in to make sure we were enjoying our stay.

    Emma2019-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • Mousehole is simply beautiful. The Blue Cat is so close to the harbour in a tiny sidelane...a friendly club/pub across the road but we weren't bothered by excess noise. The cottage is a dear wee two up two down ...with excellent amenities and very comfortable...a delight to stay in. We will be telling our friends!

    Ruth2019-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • Sue's place is wonderful. From the wonderful artwork displayed throughout home, to the proximity of everything including bus stop. Mousehole is a lovely scenic village and her home was a haven at the end of a day of taking in the sights.

Luxury loft-style living at it’s finest. This beautifully-appointed open plan ground floor studio apartment is positioned right in the heart of the quaint harbour town of Mousehole, just moments from the harbours edge, making it ideal for couples.
Steeped in mystery and myth, this studio formally known as “Who Knows” once functioned as a fish cellar, where mariners would come to process their catch. Now 300 years on, a mix of clever craftsmanship and exquisite interiors has transformed this industrial cellar into a unique Boutique Retreat. Living Glimpse inside this intriguing home, and you could be forgiven for thinking you’d been transported to a trendy New York Loft Apartment as ‘The Old Fish Cellar’ redefines coastal living. Maintaining many of the original features, and with a nod to it’s industrial past, the beguiling use of textures and materials along with the light crisp interiors, offsets this striking palette of blacks and greys. The living area exudes contemporary comfort, with a 1950s inspired deep seat button back sofa positioned perfectly for warming your toes in-front of the award winning locally designed ‘Hot Pod’ wood burner. With Blu-Ray player, smart TV and Bluetooth Radio and iPod Dock you won’t be short of entertainment. The Kitchen With no detail over looked, the fully equipped bespoke kitchen plays backdrop to a display of carefully selected earthenware bowls and glassware, whilst the exquisite copper butler-style sink is the real star of the show! Generous in size, the kitchen is fitted with all the modern day essentials including a stylish Smeg cooker, dishwasher, washer, fridge / freezer, Dualit toaster and top of the range Delonghi coffee machine. The addition of the Reclaimed wooden Workbench as dining table, makes this the perfect spot for a romantic dinner for two! Bed and Bath You’ll sleep well in ‘The Old Fish Cellar’s’ sumptuous, luxury king size bed adorned with superior goose feather and down bedding, and ultra soft Egyptian cotton linens, with the addition of traditional wooden window shutters throughout making early nights and lazy lie-ins all the more tempting. Ideally located, just off the bedroom is the en-suite. Divided by a great sliding steel Fish Store door, this stylish space, complete with reclaimed geometric tiles, is the ultimate wet room. Add an air-injected rain head shower, underfloor heating and luxurious soft cotton towels and it’s the perfect place to unwind after long coastal walks. Whilst modest in size, this compact retreat has been well thought out, creating a true sense of space in luxurious surroundings. As one of our most creative and stylish spaces, it’s a must visit whether you’re looking for a dynamic base to explore Mousehole and West Cornwall from or somewhere to bunker down in the winter for some R&R. Parking Like most properties in Mousehole, The Old Fish Cellar doesn’t have it’s own allocated parking space, however you can do a bag drop outside and then parking is available in either of the harbour car parks or larger pay and display car park as you enter the village.
Mousehole is a small picturesque fishing town set in West Cornwall. With a small sandy beach harbour, the village comprises of a melange of winding streets with artists studios, and various cafes.
  • A real gem that mixes New York loft apartment with Cornish country cottage. Amazing.

  • The Old Fish Cellar is up there with the best airbnbs we’ve ever stayed at. It’s clean, quiet, calm, cozy and extremely well decorated, and had everything we needed for a few days on the Cornish coast. It’s a quiet time of year in Mousehole but it didn’t matter to because the space is perfect for long evenings in. Camilla was also super helpful and communicative and checking in and out couldn’t have been easier, as well as loads of lovely touches. Would be back in a flash if we could.

    Jack2020-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely property which is absolutely gorgeous. Beautifully kitted out - decor is top class. Very thoughtful arrival gifts of Prosecco, mince pies and toiletries. Great location - one minute from the harbour and parking. Could not fault anything and would certainly return and recommend to others.

    Jill2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • A perfect getaway and there was even a little Christmas tree! So thoughtful. Highly recommend this beautiful spot!

    Casper2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved staying in the Old Fish Cellar! Camilla was a great host and even treated us upon arrival with prosecco and mince pies, which we enjoyed one night sitting by the log burner! Camilla’s recommendations were great, we really enjoyed a dinner at 2 Fore Street - a must do in Mousehole and had many cosy drinks in the Ship Inn. The location was fab and the interiors in the apartment were stylish and homely.

  • This is a charming and cozy cottage and it's location is perfect. It is a true home from home and we spend so much time in the cottage just relaxing! This was our first time in Mousehole and it is a quaint place tucked away with a lovely harbour a few gift shops, a pub and some restaurants. 2 Fore Street and The Coastguard are two lovely restaurants and we would recommend both. Back to the cottage, we found everything about it just right from it's location which was a two minute walk to the harbour front to it's comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend this cottage for a cozy couples getaway. I would come back in a heart beat.

  • Lovely accomadation with thoughtful touches like fresh home baked scones on arrival and fresh flowers. The cottage is just a short stroll to the harbour - we were lucky to have a visit by a seal in the harbour. Unlucky with weather but the cottage was warm and cosy to return to after being out and about in the wind and rain. Lovely would highly recommend for a family holiday in sweet Mousehole 😊

  • Mousehole is a nice little place where it can be good for a few days. Muriel's Cottage is very lovingly decorated and very practical and thoughtful in the amenities. Karen is a wonderful host, provided us with great tips, we will be back!

    Melanie2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Muriel’s cottage. The village of Mousehole is very picturesque and friendly, with a beautiful harbour. It’s on the coast path and ideal for walkers. The cottage itself is perfect, comfortable and cosy, with lovely touches such as sunflowers and cream tea. The garden is a little sun trap and the conservatory bright and warm even on overcast days. we commented several times during our stay on how well equipped the cottage was -we missed for nothing and felt thoroughly at home. We also enjoyed and took advantage of the small but perfectly formed book swap library.

    Sarah2019-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely sunny Cornish getaway. Great communication before the stay and arrived to a sparkling clean place with a cream tea, lovely fresh eggs and all the basics in the kitchen which was a great help. Hosts were also very thoughtful and left a lovely birthday card and banner. The play kitchen was amazing for our daughter and she loved the bunk room. Our bed was lovely and comfortable and the room a nice calm space. Thank you!

    Ellie2019-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fabulous stay at the cottage. Cream tea on welcome, a note on leaving meant we felt looked after. The cottage is lovely- lots of quirky touches and the bonus of the play area and chill out room was a real plus. Less than 5 minutes to mousehole harbour. Our daughters loved the rock pools on the Newlyn side. Such comfy beds. All in all a great stay.

    Sarah2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Muriel's Cottage is beautiful and quirky. My 3 sons and I had a fabulous time there. The garden is lovely and the house beautifully and thoughtfully decorated with some amazing colours and lovely pictures. There are all the amenities you need and everything was spotless and in great working order. We would holiday there again in a shot if we could get a booking!! Be advised that, if walking is not your best suit, that there is a short walk up a steepish hill from the village centre to Muriel's Cottage if you are not using a car.
