People love the cozy feel of custom woodwork and natural light that gives Orchard the intimate appeal of a home, that is also a personal retreat. Folks have described the place as ‘perfect’ and ‘dreamy’. Orchard is 22 minutes drive to Asheville and close to nature. Very cozy for one or two, even a small family on a trip. A 10ftx10ft treehouse built around a hickory tree with a wood deck. It looks over a creek 30 feet below. There are electric switches/outlets and fan/oil heater. Climb a ladder to the sleeping loft with a standard full size bed. The loft has a peak high enough to stand up under. Cook outside on gas grill. No running water but there's a drinking water dispenser. The bathroom is a composting toilet and outdoor shower with solar tank at the end of a 25ft path, adjacent to the treehouse.
