  • Simplicity of speech and no enticing words! I am blessed to stay and enjoyed the discussions with Paul at weekends, who has been a great host to me for the past several weeks. During your you are likely to find out that Paul is a creative craftsman, humble and very helpful. I highly recommend anyone to stay here; especially if it’s your first time in Northern Ireland (If near Lurgan/Craigavon/Lisburn) and if you like the ‘feel of living’ in a tiny house/camp. You also get to enjoy the fire place during the cold spells :-) Cheers Paul!

I loved the shortbread David made as well and couldn't get enough of the coffee machine. The bed was so comfortable and i had such a great sleep and the place was spotless. Would love to stay again at some point.

  • Excellent large room with en-suite for the 3 of us to stay in. My daughter's comment about the room was "I'ts better than a hotel room!". Room was very comfortable and clean with good breakfast facilities available. Our stay was for one night and as we were travelling onwards the next day, we did not get a chance to see what the surrounding area had to offer. We were very happy with everything and thanks to Dechlan for his hospitality.

  • Lovely little private apartment with thoughtful touches to make your stay very easy.

    Joy2019-11-09T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place, hosts were great. Welcome tray and morning breakfast basket was wonderful I do believe it’s better suited for one person to be honest, as the bedroom really isn’t big enough for two single beds. My 13 year old daughter found the bedroom claustrophobic and certainly missed having a tv to watch Having said that, if it was just a short stay ie a day or two then it would spot on. We had stayed for 4 days.

    Evelyn2019-11-05T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect place with perfect hosts. What can I say... I would be happy to step by again.

The house is in the suburbs of Portadown, with a five minute drive to the shopping centre, cinema and beautiful walks all around. It's a 10 minute walk from a local pub, and 10 minutes walk from Craigavon Area Hospital. The house is in a private part of a quiet, friendly estate, with a south facing back garden that gets the sunlight in the evening. I live in the house, but you are free to use the living and kitchen areas however you want.
I want you to feel at home. When you're here relax, work… feel free to do whatever you want. There are no curfew times and you're free to come and go as you please.
We are a short distance from Craigavon Lakes, and there is a great local pub nearby with entertainment in the evenings.

  • What a wonderful place to stay overlooking the lake. This trip was for a family wedding and our stay was made all the better because of our wonderful hosts David ( and Dodger the cat ). David is a font of knowledge and a wonderful baker. His home made treats in our fabulous accomodation added to our enjoyment. Dodger even came to say goodbye to us at 6 in the morning. Fabulous hosts and a lovely home. Hope to stay again. Barry and Amanda.

  • I stayed here with my boyfriend for a weekend break to relax and visit local areas. We had an amazing time here doing so, it was fully relaxing in this comfortable, stylish and cosy space. Everything was exactly as we expected and even more, we arrived at a pristine home with fantastic amenities and two generous cans of coke which was greatly appreciated! The location of Fairfield's is excellent as it is right next to the motorway which quickly takes you to any location while remaining quiet and peaceful. The beds were incredibly comfortable with a luxurious duvet that keeps you warm in any condition. We would return to Sarah's house and recommend to anyone visiting the area! Thank you so much again!

  • We stayed in Little Fairfield’s for 2 nights and I don’t even know where to start. The fact that we were able to travel with our dog was an incredible plus. The house is stylish and the designer touch is so obvious. Cozy, clean, tranquil. Moira is very pet friendly and Pretty Mary pub will let you bring your dog in, if you’re heading there for lunch or a few drinks. Sarah was an amazing host and communication ran smoothly. The location also makes it ideal for a Belfast shopping trip. We will definitely be back. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  • Another lovely stay here at Raymond's cottage! Our 3 year old loved it - again. It's really spacious and good for cooking in. Good wifi. Nice bathroom with a bath - and separate electric shower. It was really warm as there's decent central heating. Raymond's such a great host. Looking forward to going back again in 2020!

Lisieux House is surrounded by green fields and an organic vegetable garden on the shore of the largest lake in the British Isles. It is the home of Edwin and Mahvash Graham. We often have young international volunteers who work with us in the garden (WWOOF volunteers). The house is over 200 years old and has had a reputation for hospitality all its life - a reputation we are keen to keep! In good weather guests are welcome to take our kayaks on the lough.
We have one triple bedroom with ensuite. We also have a twin room that is listed separately. If needed we can put an extra bed in the triple room to accommodate 4 people. Guests have full access to the other parts of the house and are welcome to join us for our normal family activities. We are vegetarian and we have a small organic vegetable garden. Our home is a traditional Irish farmhouse with wood burning stoves that make it cosy in the winter. We are in the middle of the beautiful Irish countryside about 35 minutes from Belfast. Within a mile there is a pub, a restaurant and a bird sanctuary. We are located on the shore of the largest freshwater lake in Britain and Ireland
Our house is on the shore of Lough Neagh. There is a pub, a restaurant and a bird sanctuary one mile away at Portmore Lough. We are located about 15 minutes from the M1 motorway that connects Belfast and Dublin. There is good access to Lough Neagh in the vicinity of the house.
  • Very friendly host, we felt very much at home. We were welcomed with a nice cup of tea and in the evening we baked delicious pizzas together in the wood-fired oven. If we are in the area again we will definitely be back.

  • You're not going to find a better host than Edwin. Incredible value for money and much more than a stay. Incredibly relational person with hosting skills that surpass any expectation. He and his wife have a beautiful home filled with character pieces and charm. Plenty to admire and be entertained by the stories behind the decor. Our daughter was very entertained by the frogs in the pond and the visiting guide dog Alex. Breakfast was more than satisfying and once again the host excelled on all fronts. Such a relaxed environment made us sorry to leave and re-enter the hustle and bustle of life. We hope to see you again in the near future Edwin!!

The room was clean and nicely decorated and the breakfast was tasty and adequate. For animal lovers we can recommend the property to 100%.

  • Great place to stay. Can't praise it enough. Beautiful home and views. Friendly welcoming couple. Lovely room with tv, coffe and tea. A great big comfy bed. Slept so well I got up for work refreshed. The big roll top bath and spacious shower is second to none. I will be back if I can manage to get a slot. Highly recommend. Enjoy

  • A beautiful location. A really comfortable bed. I had an early night, intending to watch tv. Next thing I knew I woke up to my alarm. Slept like a baby the whole night. The hosts are friendly but professional. If you like animals you will love this home. Horses happily laze about at their stable. Funny cats come for a pet in the garden, but only if you invite them. You are offered breakfast and the host welcome you to use the dinning room with tv any time. I loved it. 5 stars for sure. Im returning soon and really looking forward to it.

    Sarah2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • David's place is very comfortable for a family. We enjoyed the privacy we had. The location is a little difficult to find, keep driving past where google maps tells you to go, it's around the corner. The Wifi was not working while we were there and we found it very inconvenient that if we wanted wifi we would have to not only pay for it, but also go to the local mall to refill it. We specifically booked this location because of the wifi as we are all from the US and roaming data is very expensive.

    Kendra2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • David's house is in a great location right between portadown and lurgon - the lakeside view is amazing and his house has more than enough space for 8 people. I would say the room is a small double which has drawers but no wardrobe. I have a spare room which is my yogi & reiki room. I’m more than happy for guests to use it if they wish. As I have my own en-suite I don’t use the main bathroom so guests have the bathroom to themselves. I have a good sized kitchen with a coffee corner that has a nespresso machine and milk frother so if you like to start your day with a nice coffee then you’ll have one here. I’ll have a range of cereals and toast for breakfast. I’m a veggie so there is no meat in the house but I don’t mind fish being cooked. I have amazon and Sky tv. I’ve only small number of books now as I have a kindle but feel free to have a read of what I have.
I’m right by the village centre. A 3 minute walk to 2 nice pubs, one of which has a gin school! There is a boots here, SuperValu and a centra. Plenty of coffee shops as well as the award winning butchers that has a cafe upstairs. If you want to eat out of an evening there are plenty of options including a restaurant that has a Michelin Star chef. Moira Demense park is also just around the corner. Belfast is a 20 minute train away or a half hour drive ( less or more depending on traffic)
  • Andrea was a very thoughtful and considerate Host. Lovely modern and sparkling clean house in a quiet residential area of Moira. I'd be very happy to stay again and would recommend it

  • Excellent little apartment right in the middle of everywhere. Was visiting parents at home from killarney and willy's place was perfect for the trip. Had two small children with us and the apartment was spotless, warm and just the right size. Would recommend it to anyone. The mince pies on arrival were a lovely touch after 6 hours driving. Thanks Will.

  • Great apartment, spotlessly clean. Lovely little touches like milk and butter in the fridge and scones provided.

    Elaine2019-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great wee bolt-hole and very convenient to explore gorgeous surroundings such as the Mourne Mountains. The flat has enough supplies to get the tea and coffee going in the morning (real coffee machine and muffins!) with milk and soft drinks in the fridge. A local taxi service will take you into nearby Lurgan or Moira in the evening if you can’t be bothered cooking. There’s a great wee butchers, greengrocers and cafe UNDER the flat - excellent! The host has covered all bases and we would definitely return.

  • Carol is fantastic thank you

    Alison2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Carol is an exceptionally wonderful host with a lot more to offer than just any B&B facility keeper would. She looks after everyone personally to their individual needs let it be a cup of tea, a good chat or reading to offer. Her place has a positive atmosphere, the bedroom was cosy with warm duvet to tuck oneself under it and have a good sleep. If I needed to come back to this area, I'd book her place again and arrive as a friend she made me feel like during the short stay.

  • Great value

    Christopher2020-01-23T00:00:00Z
  • If you want to experience a harmonious family in Ireland, I think it's a must-book place. Although my check-in time was late, they welcomed me kindly. It was the kindness and consideration of a typical Irish family. The guided room was neat and cozy, and the shower facility was also clean. The next morning's breakfast was an Irish home meal that Carol cooked with sincerity. It was the best taste and sincerity. I'll make a reservation if I come back to Ireland without hesitation.

  • Warm cozy bedroom with TV, large comfortable bed, wardrobe and comfy chair. Fabulous shared bathroom! If you’re not familiar with the area, you may want to research places to eat, as most restaurants are quite a distance away. But, hey! I’m a city girl! What do I know!! I had lots of great adventures while in residence.

    Kristiana2018-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • Staying with Chris and Una was a great experience. The house is nice and clean, and they make a fine breakfast in the morning for their guests. They are really friendly and even showed us their lovely horses. We highly recommend staying with them.

  • Chris and his wife were very kind. They had a wonderful home that was full of friendly pets. Their dogs and cats were sweethearts, and their horses are gorgeous. If you're an animal lover I definitely recommend this place!

    Heather2018-06-09T00:00:00Z
  • Chris and his lovely wife made me feel so welcome and at home. Their place is designed for those who love being in the countryside, who love the peace and quiet one needs when on vacation. Anything you need help with or finding out in the local community, they gladly go out of their way to do that for you. I was there for finding out family history. They took the time to help me locate places, such as my family's church, plus gave me current history on what is happening in the community today.

  • John made us feel very welcome and at home in this very grand and beautiful house. He was extremely friendly and accommodating. It was a flying visit, but it was just what we needed for an easy stopover, although we would have loved to have stayed longer. We arrived quite late after a very long drive and were welcomed with an offer of a drink next to an open fire. The room was clean and tidy. John cooked us a delicious breakfast in the morning, which is worth the small fee. We would highly recommend.
