The place gives you your own peace and quiet, and there are great opportunities for both trips, enjoying a while around the campfire in the outdoor area or fishing in Barduelva which flows just below the farm. Fishing licenses are purchased at Inatur. If you like to ski, there are good opportunities for skiing in the slopes and in the surrounding mountains.

Hytta har bare ett rom, med en køyeseng, spisebord med to stoler, tv på veggen, kjøkkenbenk med vask (uten innlagt vann, se lenger ned i teksten), kjøleskap og varmeovn. Utenfor hytta er det en platting med bord og benk. Toalett og kjøkken finner man i servicebygget 20 meter fra hytta. Det er ikke innlagt vann på selve hytta, dette må hentes enten i den lille bua rett ovenfor hytta, eller inne på kjøkkenet på servicebygget.
