Great place to stay. Lots of little touches, very peaceful and the cottage has everything you need for a quiet stop over or get away. Alan & Sarah are very thoughtful hosts and if you are lucky you may get to meet their beautiful girls (cows)! Loved our stay.

What an amazing place to get away from it all! This romantic little cottage is set in peaceful surroundings with a fireplace and spa to help you relax. Everything is included, with great little touches from the wonderful hosts. Oh and the breakfast supplies were both delicious and plentiful! We would highly recommend it if you are looking for a place to get away from the rat race.

The cottage was amazing, the amenities provided are above and beyond. Plenty of food, board games, movies and bathroom amenities. The location is great very close to local towns and also the vast Forrest. Definitely stay here for a romantic time with a candlelit spa bath or a board game in front of the fire.

Exactly as described, very clean inside and a lovely farm setting. We were treated by a cute dog and loved seeing the horses in the fields. Great stay!

Helen welcomed us to their beautiful property, the room was lovely and they were very accommodating. The views were amazing and their friendly dogs came over to say hello. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend.

Cheryl Is a beautiful landlord with a bright smile, she is thoughtful, clean and white room, prepared all the care and facilities, there are many surprises you can not imagine, there is a large storage room, enough for you to fill the year full of clothing and miscellaneous. In the room can see the blue sea, to the sea only need to walk on the beautiful path 5 minutes, the yard is exclusive large parking lot, the sunset is even more beautiful, is a just left want to live back to the place.

This place was simply beautiful! Tucked away, surrounded by beautiful gardens it was the perfect place for some R&R. I would highly recommend it !

Ginette and her cottage were lovely. The perfect escape for my best friend and I on our child free winery weekend away. The cottage was comfortable, had all the amenities required plus a few additional extras (breakfast, tea, coffee, fire wood) which were all greatly appreciated. We look forward to returning to Kuitpo Cottage one day, and the Ginette for her wonderful hospitality.

Amazing quaint cottage, perfect place to get away from it all and relax in comfort. Greenery all around and plenty of room to wander around breath in the fresh air.

Ginette’s place is wonderful. Picturesque views all over the house from rolling hills, a big garden and vineyards not too far away. We even had kangaroos hopping through the garden! Great location for vineyards (K1 and Coates are just down the road) and Ginette’s place is so stylish and modern, but with lovely homestead touches.

Absolutely amazing venue. We had our wedding at Kuitpo Hall so having the cottage just up the road was so convenient especially with a young child. The pictures don’t do the cottage justice, it’s super spacious with everything you would ever need. Highly recommend and would stay again in a heart beat.

Tim’s tiny house is a little work of art! You can see that he really has poured his heart into this sanctuary and we loved every minute of our stay there. The property is beautiful and it’s so peaceful and green with beautiful views of the spring outside the window. The house was super clean and has everything you could need to cook and refrigerate your own food as well as plenty of space to eat and hang out as well as a big bed and surprisingly big bathroom! There is complete temperature control, plenty of lights and PowerPoints. The only thing I would say to future guests is to make sure you pack your things so you can carry them easily (e.g backpack / no loose items) as you have to do a little bit of walking to get to the spot. Would recommend this place highly and the host is a really lovely guy!

My Husband and I felt very comfortable at this home, we were welcomed at the door as soon as we arrived. had our own driveway for parking and private entrance. Everything was lovely and clean and smelled amazing. Bed was very comfortable also. I Would defiantly recommend!

Stayed for a wedding. Super convenient. Bigger than expected, very clean, perfect for a couple needing a room for short stays. Has walk in robe and its already a fairly large master bedroom. Host was always quick to reply and made us feel at ease and welcome. Would definitely stay again.

Sue's place was perfect for a quiet weekend getaway from the city hustle & bustle. The studio was incredibly well stocked with quality teas/ coffee, locally sourced milk& cream. Freshly baked bread and homemade spreads. The amenities were all of high quality & the bed was very comfortable. It was a refreshing change to have no TV & experience the fresh air & gardens on the property. There are so many amazing wineries within close proximity to visit! We wished we could have stayed longer!

Lovely hosts in a really nice homely setting

I knew I'd be giving 6 stars before we even left, unfortunately can only give 5. The host was wonderful providing helpful information relating to our specific trip even before our stay, and accommodating in our travel times. The cute little abode is set up with everything you'd need if you wanted to cook, but we were lucky to be provided with homemade condiments and bread for a lovely breakfast. No over the top unnecessary frills, but no skimping on the basics. Simple and beautiful summarises everything about this stay. Other trips have been excessive in one are, lacking in another, or altogether average. This was one of the best stays we've had and highlights what AirBnB should be about.

A stay at 613 on Range Road The Range is a delightful experience Surrounded by rustic/ formal gardens in a gentle valley we felt miles away from the city🤗 Spotlessly clean with the BEST bed - we as an ageing couple settled in well. It is quite a small abode with a tiny bathroom - you might want to bring plenty of reading matter as there is no TV and Wi Fi is weak There’s no microwave oven But found 2 electric frypans in cupboard .. Homemade bread and garden fruit was fabulous - our hosts were very hospitable and friendly - and they have chickens 🐔 in a run in the garden - close to McLaren Vale and Willunga - great foods and wines to be had. Lovely short holiday.

Sue and Dougs studio is glorious. In Amongst some of the the most pristine greenery and nature McLarenvale has to offer. Incredible location, close to everything, yet still feels like a peaceful oasis. We were spoiled with some home made bread, fresh laid eggs, home grown fruits and some homemade preserves. It was a real treat. I’ve never tasted such juicy nectarines. The bed was wonderfully comfy and we woke up each morning to the pleasant sound of chirping birds. Can’t recommend Sue and Dougs place enough for a relaxing stay in McLarenvale . Xxx

Sue was an incredibly warm and welcoming host, made the most exquisite home made bread and had such a wide spread for the provided breakfast. The location was more than ideal and very easy to catch an Uber from. Would recommend to anyone, the garden provided such a peaceful and wholesome setting to relax and enjoy a wine. Would recommend to anyone who was interested.

Great location right at Collonades Centre , close to beach etc. Highly recommended.

Robyn was really fast is answering to our emails. When we arrived she waited patiently (we were 15min late) and explained in a little tour what the place was about. We even could use a barista machine with coffee grinder which was special in our eyes and very good value incl. breakfast. By car you will be in 5min at the beach and groceries can be done by walk in 5min as well.

The Apartment was an excellent location for exploring the McLaren Vale wine region and the southern suburbs of Adelaide. The Apartment had everything for breakfast, and great local brochures and information for eating out locally.

Colton Cottage is stunning. What a loving restoration has taken place here, and the gardens, oh my! Colton Cottage was stunning. Having stayed in Pedler before, I knew Oxenberry’s standard of accommodation was impeccable, but the beauty of this little cottage blew us away. From the little courtyard area, beautiful furniture to the outstanding bathroom (clawfoot bath was gorgeous!) we’ve found our new go-to when staying in McLaren Vale. Thank you for having us!

I booked Oxenberry cottage for my parents as part of a 60th present for my dad - both mum and dad loved their stay and appreciated the lovely view, breakfast inclusions and thoughtful extras such as sparkling and chocolates in the room etc. Thanks for having them and making their stay special :)

Absolutely beautiful building which has been restored - certainly somewhere special to stay the views on the back verandah are tranquil. As a whole it was just somewhere you wanted to be really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely love to return

A beautiful space to rest our tired bones for one night. Perfectly located near the beach. As per their local guide instructions we wondered along the beach, into the quiet town for an Indian dinner. Great facilities within the space. Thanks so much again for having us.

Awesome location so close to the beach! So close that we walked with our paddle boards down to the outlet and paddled out to Port Noarlunga to have lunch 👌 Check in was easy too, we’d happily stay again.

We had a lovely stay at the Earthship. It was great to see how it was constructed and experience a more sustainable living. View was amazing, bed super comfy and the greenhouse a living dream. Would love to stay again.

The earthship was incredible, from the first sight of it the attention to detail was amazing. But walking in doors on a 37 degree day the green house was thriving and the living area was a cool 21 degree. The earthy floors allowed us to feel grounded immediately and relaxed. The food provided was organic produce of the best quality, the bed is of the highest standard to allow a truly enjoyable stay. Great bathroom facilities, the water gets both very hot and cold which is perfect for practicing Naturopathic Hydrotherapy techniques. It was a relaxing property with plenty of wild blackberries to pick. On the second day it was 43 degrees outside but still 21 degrees in the living area. The earthship has an incredible design and we will be going back in winter to see how it functions in the cooler months, The 2 nights was not enough, we returned home to a hot bungalow and wished we were in the cool earthship. Thank you!! We Highly Recommend!

This place is a must to stay. Simply AMAZING. Loved everything about it. Loved the wild life that visited including the koala that would visit every day. The views all around are just beautiful. Stayed in Summer would also love to visit in Winter too.

This is a truly unique opportunity to stay in an Earthship and experience how calming and peaceful it is. Learning the principles through reading the information available enabled us to learn and gain an understanding of how clever this system really is. The outlook is gorgeous and the ambience within the building made from recycled and natural materials makes you feel calm and recharged. I loved the rendered walls with their niches and soft corners, the patterns and light coming in through the bottle walls as well as the beautiful coloured glass terrazzo floor in the entrance and the bathroom. We will be sure to spread the word about our experience and are looking forward to bringing some of the principles in to our everyday life. We are grateful for this opportunity and admire the work you are doing to enable ourselves and others gain a deeper understanding of sustainable living techniques through the workshops you run and being able to stay in the Earthship.

What a fantastic experience staying in this awesome earthship. So different from any accommodation out there and Zoe and Martin have made the place so comfortable and welcoming. I felt relaxed and grounded the whole time and really enjoyed the healthy food provided for breakfast. I highly recommend you go.

The Earthship is an absolute dream! Honestly the best Airbnb we have been to, it absolutely exceeded expectations which we didn’t think was possible after ready the reviews and descriptions but it was honestly perfect and wouldn’t change a thing ! I miss the place already, was beyond what I could’ve wanted or hoped for! Thank you for everything, every little touch was perfect. For those unsure, please do yourselves a favour and stay here. We loved staying at the Top Shed. It was surprisingly comfortable and cosy. The amenities provided was amazing and Dan & Becky have thought of almost everything. Our dog Bagel lived playing with Becky’s two dogs, who were adorable and so friendly. We look forward to returning to stay again soon. The location is also amazing - it felt like you’re really amongst all McClaren Vale has to offer.

The Top Shed is located in a beautiful, peaceful location, ideally situated for exploring Maclaren Vale, and for us a wonderful first stop on our trip from the UK to recover from the jet lag and restore ourselves. The Shed is well equipped and very comfortable, Jeff and Madge the dogs make you extremely welcome and are adorable. I would recommend the Top Shed to anyone looking for a beautiful peaceful getaway. The Top Shed was a perfect weekend get away location. We stayed there for a wedding at Woodstock. The location was so close and Becky provided us a list of numbers to prebook drivers. The place was a great little studio space to relax. There are two adorable doggos that are more than happy to come and hang out with you as well.

I arrived at Dave and Allisons after a whole day travelling on my motorcycle, on my trip from Broome. The house was beautiful, very clean with very high ceilings, large rooms and high quality fittings. The bed was large ( king sized? ) with soft sheets and very comfortable. Dave and Alison were the perfect hosts. I had full use of the kitchen, and was able to make a cup of tea. This place was a great find. In the morning you are allowed to cook your own bacon and eggs, using eggs from the farm. I would recommend this place to anyone.

This place is much more than what you will expect. Perfect country holiday house with acres of green lush land. Dave and Alison are amazing and friendly. They are the perfect host and not to mention they treated our little 5month pup Toy cavoodle with all the love. Love this place and the breakfast in the morning was mind blowing. Thank you guys can’t thank you enough for much needed break

Jessica's place is absolutely beautiful, great use space, very modern and incredible views from the balcony. The grounds are stunning, I absolutely loved exploring the orchard and vegetable garden. Jessica was a very accommodating host, clearly a lot of thought goes into the special touches. The home made bread and organic produce was delicious. Would definitely recommend for a short trip away.

Would highly recommend this as a whole experience. We were able to wander the farm and pick and eat fresh almonds and figs. A hot loaf of freshly baked bread was waiting on our arrival too! Beautiful place with a gorgeous view.

You can expect a stunning view and comfortable retreat at Jessica's place. A real sense of escape from the world even though amidst the activity of a working farm. Can't wait to experience the Winter there - we have booked again!

Nice and clean place in the suburbs in a calm neighborhood, close to shops and vineries south of the city but a bit of a drive to the center. We appreciate two cute dogs to keep us company and early checkin.

Absolutely loved our stay at Sarah's place! Such a lovely host and such a warm environment to be in. The bed was outstandingly comfortable, to the point where we didn't want to get out of it! There is a really nice decking area to relax on and we thought having a fridge, kettle and microwave in the room was a really great touch. The highlight though would have to be Sarah's gorgeous dogs, we fell in love with them and miss them already! Haha All round 10/10 for our stay, would 100% recommend :)

Lovely room in a family home. Sarah and her family were very nice and friendly, but also respectful of giving space if needed. The room and other facilities were sparkling clean and very comfortable. Sarah provides tea, coffee, kettle and a mini fridge in the room which is a nice touch. The area itself is quiet, although not a lot nearby, but well located if you wish to explore the nearby wine regions and beachside. There is plenty of information of what to see and do. Thank you very much!

Access through the lockbox was easy and great because I didn't know exactly what time I would arrive. I was wonderfully greeted by two beautiful labs! So friendly and just adorable. Sarah's daughter came and greeted me and Sarah arrived home 5mins later. All was just as described. Everything I needed was there. It was a lovely furnished space, big TV, big spacious room....I could just relax. Sarah made me feel completely welcome, explained the situ with shower etc and where to find cutlery and plates if I needed. Also was a 5 minute walk away from take away shops and food. I had extra blankets if I needed and a heater given the weather outside was cold and wet. Great hospitality.

This is the best value place we've ever found. Spectacular location, very beautiful views in the hills. The place is a nice size and has everything you'd need on a travel. When we booked the AirBnB we never realised just how lucky we would be with our hosts, Daphne and John really looked after us. When we were stranded at the airport they came to save us and averted a crisis. The breakfast items were perfect, the whole space is really a cosy home from home. We also enjoyed a final night of drinks on the porch with Daphne and John, which sealed an end to our great stay in Adelaide, we will be back x

Such a beautiful, calming and relaxing stay. The little touches were so special, especially the freshly made bread delivered in a cute basket to your door in the morning. Christy made alterations to the breakfast to meet our dietary needs with no hesitation. The bed was so comfortable. My husband thinks it’s the best sleep he’s had in his life. We loved our stay here!

We stayed the Songbird Cottage for 2 nights and enjoyed it very much. It is relaxing , close to the wine country (including a great one minutes away) and is a perfect retreat. Christy is a great host and we would definitely recommend.

Christy really is a brilliant hostess! We spend two nights at Songbird Cottage, everything was so well thought of and prepared, especially the breakfast! The cottage itself is beyond our expectation, so cozy and comfortable, we had wonderful sleeps during our stay. There were sheep in our backyard....as they were welcoming us too!

Such a great space and nearby to Longview Winery! Only 15 mins from Mt. Barker and Strathalbyn too! Great host and tasty breakfast each morning.

This cottage is delightfully cosy and Christy has a hidden flair for design. Although this was at the top end of our budget I feel the cottage still represents value for money. The supplied breakfast was also very good.

The ‘Shearing Shed’ is the perfect getaway. It’s exactly as it’s advertised! It has everything you could possibly need. It was clean and smelt fresh. Linen/ bedding was of high quality and that’s important to me. Most importantly was location and finding somewhere away from the hustle and bustle where there’s peace and quietness . Thanks Libby! This was the second time we’ve stayed at the Shearing Shed and loved it just as much as the first. Close to McLaren Vale’s wineries and shopping, you’ll want to make sure you have a car to travel back and forth but it’s worth it for this little hide out among the trees. We woke up to sheep outside our window which was pretty cool, and spent the cold morning laying in bed watching the rain. We’ll always keep this place in mind when staying in the McLaren Vale area.

If you're looking for something unique and special then you have found it, WOW! The location is nestled away in the south eastern corner of the Mclaren Vale and delivers an South Australian experience away from the hustle and bustle of the CBD in droves. Settle in to this cabin in the vines with spectacular views out of every window, lose yourself for hours contemplating the views. Yet it's so conveniently located to say the Willunga Farmers Market on a Saturday morning to pick up something to nibble on while sitting on the deck, or dinner at the Salopian Inn and of course the fantastic winery cellar doors throughout the Mclaren Vale (our favourites were Hither and Yon, Gemtree, Yangarra and Coriole). This beautiful experience will not disappoint, whether you're local looking for a weekend getaway or if you're travelling to South Australia for the first time and want a real South Australian experience you can't go past Libby's place.

The Shearing Shed is a wonderful place to stay. Clean, comfortable with everything you need. Elizabeth is a great host and the location is perfect for beaches, local wineries and a huge selection of places to eat. So peaceful, we had the best time staying there, would highly recommend it.

Tent on a hill was fabulous! Very stylishly decorated tent, cosy bed and quilt to stay warm, and a gorgeous view! We saw kangaroos in the evening and a lovely sunset. Absolutely wonderful and we will definitely return.

We loved the views from the tent across Mclaren Vale, and the kangaroos that hopped past the tent at dusk. Cute touches like the fairy lights, board games and comfy rugs made this a very happy experience after a long day of cycling in the region.

We absolutely loved our stay, it was so calming, cozy and peaceful. Its the perfect little getaway to disconnect and refresh! There were so many thoughtful touches as well as wine on arrival, tea/coffee and croisants in the morning! The tent was so cozy and comfortable and we cant wait to come back in winter to make use of the campfire! Alva and Duncan were wonderful hosts and were easy to contact had we needed anything but everything was already thought of or explained to us so we could enjoy our time to ourselves.

Amazing glamping set up! Alva and family is extremely accommodating

We had an incredibly relaxing stay on Alva & Duncan’s property. The location is so peaceful and the perfect hideaway spot. We stopped by the local butcher on the way in and picked up some meat for a BBQ and it was just a perfect night to eat in and under the stars. We highly recommend this place!

We could not recommend this stay enough. The beautiful natural surroundings make you feel so detached from the city, and the service from the hosts was great. If you’re looking for a weekend getaway or a unique place to stay then look no further.

Stylish, cosy and serine.

We were the first guests at Keith, so I'm happy to write a longer review. Keith is a warm person and greeted us nicely. He was a little excited, which makes him very personable. The room was nicely decorated. With lots of pillows on the bed. Keith showed us the apartment and told us to feel at home. We could use everything we needed. In between, he asked if everything was OK or if we still needed something. We felt very comfortable there. We recommend Kieth with great pleasure ..

The stay with Richie was everything we needed to start our adventure in South Australia and we look forward to visiting again! Location was great as it was close to the essentials including the train to get us into the city for anything else we needed. It was nice to come back after a busy day and enjoy a fire or just relax inside playing a casual game of pool. Thank you Richie!

Richards place was more than we could have asked for, especially after camping for so long. Great colourful lighting in the van and plenty of blankets for a cold night. Plus full access to bathroom, kitchen, living and dining. Had a great time here!

We had 2 interesting nights in the Canavan bus. It's suitable for the price that we paid. However, we didn't have a heater in the winter time, but the host gave us extra blankets, so it's fine. And the host is very friendly and socialize.

We loved our stay at Kangarilla. House has stunning views of country, lots of room and everything to make a quiet, intimate stay. Presentation was neat and clean, Susan very accommodating and helpful. Loved our stay.

Bundaleer Cottage is lovely - the space is well designed, sparkling clean, and very comfortable. If you're looking for a place to stay to enjoy Mclaren Vale I can't recommend this place enough!

You can not go past Jane’s house for your stay. The added extras were a welcome surprise when we arrived. She has thought of everything you could need during your stay. My only regret is I could not stay longer to enjoy the house more.

Thanks for a perfect stay in your cottage. I booked this as a surprise for my husband’s birthday and he was very excited when we arrived at the accommodation. All the extra touches made it very special. Great location to stay to explore the wine region and very peaceful.

Wonderful place to stay. Far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet, but close enough for convenience. Saffy and Dom have a cute little family, and having their sheep, dog and alpaca around was warming. Plenty of wildlife to be seen amongst the vineyards. Close proximity to lots of iconic and esteemed wineries and restaurants, with plenty of nature walks in the Kuitpo Forest. We were lucky enough to be there when Dom was roasting his coffee (@Dawn Patrol, only open on Sunday mornings,) and we were able to smell the marshmellowy process. Saffy was readily available if need be, and provided a handy booklet with things to do and places to go. At first me and my partner were iffy about the eco-toilet, but we quickly got over it and enjoyed feeling like we were helping the environment. Only stayed 2 nights, but wish we could've stayed longer. Highly recommend! Also, try or buy some of their complex coffee - we love going there every so often on a Sunday and i routinely recommend their beans to coffee connoisseurs. Container itself isn't huge, but feels spacious, and the deck provides a nice space to sit for a cuppa or a glass of wine. Must also say - is the most comfortable bed we've slept in anywhere that isn't home.

Lovely location and very unique as expected! Had a wonderful stay during our 2 days there :) Being able to drink the locally-made coffee was a huge plus!

We had a lovely weekend away at Saffy’s place. A unique experience staying in a shipping container in a beautiful location to switch off for the weekend!

This place is THE perfect little get away in a beautiful location overlooking a vineyard. So so much to do in the area and a nice spot for a wine on the deck to end the day. Saffy was an excellent host bringing fresh home made bread and eggs on arrival and introducing us to her pets - Alf (alpaca) and milo (dog). This place had everything you need to kick back and relax. Overall a wonderful time spent, definitely recommend! 😊

Had a lovely little stay, the place was very cute and homely. The hosts were easy to communicate with and brought over a welcome basket of fresh eggs, milk, coffee and home made bread. The place was air conditioned but we unfortunately stayed over a 40+ degree weekend but the place cooled down when the sun set and it was lovely. Was fun to have some animal visitors, a chicken came over to say hello and an alpaca walked past to have a look and a friendly sheep and dog greeted us. The place is very eco friendly which was nice, including a waterless composting toilet which I avoided, although I totally agree with the concept . Would stay again

Perfect private hideaway in de hills. Next to a NP where we spotted koalas. You have everything for yourself but when you need something they respond quickly. We had some issues with the car and they even helped looking at it. Would definitely recommend this place!

This is a very nice space. Everything a person could want for either a short stay such as mine or a very extended stay. The surrounding countryside is very relaxing and picturesque.

This is what airbnb was all about. Getting reasonably priced accommodation near great parts of the world that don’t have any other way of letting you stay there. Pam was a super host. She bent over backwards to make things work for us.

Some really nice touches like a good quality coffee machine, fancy tea and a range of cooking appliances. It was very peaceful in the evenings and I was made to feel welcome. Pam is a very quick communicator and will aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

An amazing place to stay, and highly recommended for long term guests. The location is perfect for transport, wineries, shopping center and the beach only minutes away. Craig is an awesome host and has plenty of local knowledge, along with friendly hospitality as I was allowed to use all amenities of the house!

Craig's place couldn't have been more ideal. It's immaculately clean, spacious and is surrounded by beautiful greenery. It's a wonderful location--walking distance to the beach and the train station, plus a short drive into town and the local wine region. His friendly dog, Tigger, is a joy to play with and the pool was a great bonus! Craig went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and made our stay very enjoyable. Definitely recommend to anyone staying in this area!

Where do we even begin! Craig went above and beyond for myself and my friend, making us feel right at home. His home is in an amazing location, a short walk away from the beach and a quick drive into town. His hospitality was so generous and we even got to try some fresh calamari Craig had caught that morning which was to die for! We cannot recommend staying at his home enough and will definitely stay with him again when we visit next. Thanks for being an absolute legend! Courtney and Kyra :)

Mukhuzo was very helpful with local guidance and knowledge, also very generous as well! The location is great, only about 10 mins walk away from the bus stop & Coles.

Fantastic place. Lovely place with all necessary amenities. Under cover parking, 25 minute drive to the city, private room, nice patio area to chill on a nice evening. Mukhuzo was also very understanding of my late finish times as being a bartender in the city! I definitely recommend staying here :)
