The Country Retreat at the historic Schmitz Family Farm is close to many attractions, ideal for couples, families, girls' weekends, extended stays, business travel, and is dog friendly. We feature two beautiful bedrooms, living room with two sleeper sofas (can also be used as a third bedroom, as door closes for privacy), laundry room, full kitchen, coffee nook, quiet deck and backyard.

Enjoy the morning sunrise from the East and relax by the waterfront and watch the sunset on the West. Bring the family and enjoy some lake life where the days linger on longer. During the Summer months we have a pier available to fish off of. There are two fire pits, one by the lake and another tucked away near the house. You will love it here, it is very calm and relaxing.

The estate includes our family home, this 3-bed cottage, and a 1-bed guesthouse. 8 minutes from Historic Downtown Cedarburg, 30 minutes from Milwaukee, 90 minutes from Chicago. Close enough to everything, far enough to truly unwind.

The Loft at the Butler Place is a beautiful, quiet retreat set in the rural suburb of Sussex, just 30 minutes west of Milwaukee. The home is the 1846 homestead of the William Butler family, making the home older than the State of Wisconsin! The 2019 remodel of the Loft is in sophisticated farmhouse style and pays tribute to the history of the home in its furnishings, up cycled pieces, and beautiful setting. The east side location means you have fabulous sunset views, as well as swimmable, hard bottom frontage off the platform pier. It is a small space, just one bedroom, but very cozy. Comfort is the focus, with new, high-end furnishings. The stainless steel refrigerator, granite countertops and a gas range in the kitchen offer a higher end experience.

My place is close to 20 minutes south of Elkhart Lake and Road America. You’ll love my place because of the outdoors space, the comfy bed, and the kitchen. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. The Blue Cobb House is about 15 minutes from Kohler-Andrae State Park and 30 minutes from Harrington Beach State Park. The Kettle Moraine area is just to our west and it is filled with hiking trails.
