It’s beautiful, peaceful, and Ned & Heather were very hospitable. We were a bit surprised to find that the gardens were directly behind Ned & Heather’s home, but that didn’t deter us from resting well in the hammocks and enjoying their beautiful garden. The sleeping arrangements are as described (and twin and air mattress) not a “European King” lol. Overall, the cottage was a very sweet retreat for my husband and I. Ned & Heather’s eye for detail and impeccable sense I’d style and cleanliness, was certainly evident. Overall, I highly recommend staying in this little cottage in Paradise, TX.

This little cottage was a perfect getaway!! We felt such a warm welcome from Ned & Heather. They were very accommodating and gave us a sweet treat upon arrival. The property is beautiful with hammocks, a rose garden, and outside seating areas great for relaxing, reading, or conversation. Highly recommend spending some time outside at night to see the stars! The cottage is an an easy-to-find location and had every amenity we needed during our stay. We hope to visit again soon.

This place was absolutely stunning and the hosts were so sweet. Everything was clean and it felt like a home for those couple of days we stayed at the cottage. They have a filtered pitcher of water in the fridge which I thought was such a nice touch. Kitchen is stocked with silverware and pans so it made staying in to eat a whole lot easier. Both such welcoming people and I 100% plan to visit again.

Adorable cottage extra clean, impeccably decorated. We loved how quiet and peaceful it was. We went to a nearby town for dinner only 10-15 min away. It was my birthday and was so sweet to see and birthday note and chocolate covered strawberries left for us. Ned and Heather were very helpful and great hosts.

Looking for serenity and tranquility overlooking beautiful fields, a sense of ranch life and family but with the grace, comfort, and cleanliness of a luxury hotel.. Johnny, Barbara, and their beautiful horses will be the kindest and sweetest hosts you will ever meet! I came out for a bit of me time and to do the things I love.. This unique and beautiful apartment in the state of the art barn inspired me in all sorts! I will definitely be back and this time will hopefully get to spend time with J&B! If you are in the area and want a nice quite place in the country to lay your head, go see Barbara & Johnny at there beautiful ranch. They are the nicest people you will ever meet. To the horses in the morning and the story telling around the table, you will not be disappointed. Every time I’m in the area, I make it a point to stay at the Lavin Ranch. Always sparkling clean and inviting. I stay in a lot of AirBnB’s while traveling for work, but Barbara & Johnny’s place by far is my favorite place to stay. If I could pack this AirBnB up in my bag and take it with me every where, I would. Once you stay with them, you will leave feeling like you are part of there family. I can’t wait to see them on my next trip to DFW.

It was a clean and nice space for a couple or individual! We did travel with our large dog that fell through the stairs a couple times but other than that we had a great stay!

This place is nice and quiet and has everything needed for a good nights sleep. The bed is very comfortable! Snacks were a nice surprise and we also enjoyed the decor. Especially the large painting!

This was an awesome stay. Perfect for a solo traveler who just needed a quiet night off the beaten path. I was so pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and private the space was. Hosts also came out to help me find my way since i arrived pretty late in the night and couldn’t see the driveway. I would absolutely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time and absolutely loved the entire place!! Walking in was so great to see how nice it all looked after coming in from the shop, I already knew from pictures it’d be nice and clean but pictures did not do it justice!! The bed was super comfy. They had so many snacks and water bottles which I thought was just a great thoughtful touch. There was one issue where the WiFi messed up for roughly ten minutes and I messaged Logan and he responded instantly and I was able to get it fixed. We enjoyed it so much, we’ve already decided any future visits we’ll be staying here again most definitely!!

Loved all the bulls, and being able to have my dogs with me while I traveled! They loved being back on a ranch. Only wish that the door would’ve locked, but otherwise didn’t have any issues. I loved the loft and how close it was to the dfw area!

I was in town for a camp so it was just a place to sleep at night, but it was a pretty cool little place! The ceiling upstairs was a little low due to the design of the roof, but I’m 6’3” and that happens sometimes. Everything was very clean and orderly. They even had coffee, fruit, and bagels waiting on me! I can’t say enough about the experience. Thanks guys!

Relaxing, peaceful, and unique. This was a great place to get away for a weekend and enjoy the quiet of the country. The hosts were very welcoming and brought us some tasty banana bread that we ate for breakfast the next morning.

Need to relax and unwind from life? This is the place!! Everything, from the property to the inside of the barn-omnium, is so beautiful and country, and the amenities and special touches, like teas, and fruits and cookies put out, added so much thoughtfulness and care from the hosts to my experience there. I am already looking at when I can come back. You can't go wrong staying here. Enjoy.

If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing place this is it! A cozy cottage with a great view on the back porch. We really enjoyed watching the sunset. They had a nice list of suggestions for things to do in the area. Loved the fresh eggs from the chickens and the mini muffins! My husband and I really needed the time away to reconnect and this place delivered. We loved it so much we want to make this an annual thing!

This is the sweetest country cottage! A great place to relax and refresh. Eric and Amanda are awesome hosts and went the extra mile to make us feel welcomed. This is the perfect getaway in DFW. It’s close enough to Denton and Fort Worth to have all the things you would want in a big city, but far enough out in the country for privacy, peace and quiet. The view of the sunset is amazing and there are plenty of big windows to enjoy the sunshine. There’s plenty of space to explore outside or just stay in and relax. It’s a beautiful, comfortable place I want to visit over and over.

Perfect getaway for those who need to take a step back from the daily city life and work/school routine. Rang in the new year peacefully thanks to this wonderful place! The bed was super comfortable, the flow of the space was nice, the kitchen was great to cook on, I truly felt as tho I was right at home. Thanks again Eric and Amanda!

Great location and a super cute home. Great for birdlovers..we added a bird feeder and it was awesome seeing all the different birds. Mike and Sabra are great hosts. We will definitely stay at the Homestead again.

What a peaceful and relaxing place to enjoy! When we drove up it was exactly what we needed, a country farmhouse that was so inviting. We really loved the side porch with the mini fireplace. Will definitely be back!

The Homestead was 1000x better than anything I expected! I brought my two large dogs and they loooved all the open area around the house! The entire house is fenced it which is also very convenient. The laundry room is set up perfectly for a pet with a crate and a water bowl. The rooms are large and beautifully decorated. The coffee bar is set up perfectly, you have a fridge, stove and anything you could need. The only minuscule thing I would change is to have actual silver wear instead of plastic. I would 100% recommend renting this house! I wish I could have extended my stay for the next month!

We absolutely love it here. We did a lot of fishing, caught 2-3 10lb catfish and a ton of 2-3lbs. We had a big fish fry our last night. The only thing I’d ever suggest about this property is maybe having a fish cleaning station out on the dock would be a lot of help. Was a great week, and we will definitely be back soon.

This is such a great place to stay, with lots of outdoor areas to enjoy the lake and views. I loved the simple things like leaving a light on and music playing when we got there. Very clean and cute decor with updated furniture.

Wonderful place right in the lake with great views of both sunrise and sunset. Great outdoor amenities in the private dock and fire pit right off the shore. House was clean and comfortable, with huge televisions and beds. We loved our stay at the Lake Shack.

We enjoyed our stay at the lake in this beautiful and comfortable home. The western decor was tastefully done and provided a great atmosphere to kick back and relax.

Highly recommend viewing this property because you get your bang for your buck! Clean and quite with amenities available for usage this expense compared to paying more at a hotel chain is a no brainer! Bring your favorite seasonings to cook with kitchen had everything else I needed.

This is a great little lake house on Eagle Mountain Lake. The fishing was great off the dock with friendly neighbors next door. I would recommend for small parties.

This place was beautiful and worked great sleeping 8 people. Everything was clean, and the place offered many things such as utensils, grill, towels, bed sheets and blankets, and alot more! I would absolutely recommend this place for some lake fun!

This is an amazing place to stay. The house is right on the water and we loved going fishing and relaxing on the porch. The house is so clean and all the beds were super comfy. She thought of everything for families to enjoy the lake and even had a play pen and high chair. We will definitely be staying there again.

Our stay at Sandra Place was wonderful. Although most of the things we had planned were in Dallas about 45 mins or so away, we still enjoyed our stay here. The property is very welcoming and extremely clean. With the Corona virus pandemic I thought about canceling this trip but I was very comfortable here with my family. I am a big clean bathroom person and a clean bathroom is a must for me to stay anywhere. Sandras entire home was spotless. Cudos to you Sandra. We stay in Air BNB for every trip we make for the last 5 years and this is by far one of the best. We will stay again for sure. Thank you Sandra

This place is amazing and the pictures do not do it justice. Such a large and beautiful home but the scenery and outdoor space was our favorite. Our dog was so happy and our baby had a blast playing outside on the kid’s playground.

This is a beautiful and peaceful country property that has all the amenities and then some! My husband and I were traveling with 2 kids and 2 dogs for medical reasons for my son. We needed space for the dogs to run and a quiet area for some down time the day before my son’s procedure. We were able to watch movies, had WiFi, there were books and puzzles available, and space to run the dogs throughout. The house and the property are beautiful and really serene. Lots of wildlife can be seen at various times of day! Well worth the money and the drive!

To say this home and property is beautiful would be such an understatement. We were so sad to leave this stunning and peaceful home. We enjoyed our time there thoroughly and Sandra was a joy to work with. Highly recommend!

I honestly can go on and on about this place. At first I was a little hesitant with this being my first Airbnb experience but I was absolutely blow away. The host are amazing thy are very welcoming and helpful. Before arriving they kept in great contact and answered all questions and concerns. Upon arrival we were welcomed by a heart felt note and cake, opened the fridge and seen water, and oj. The camper had every thing we needed and more. My husband and I came with our 3 children and the kids had so much fun with the family. We were offered fresh eggs and fresh beach towels for our visit to a local lake (and that was just awesome). The children played together with the goats, chicken, and dogs. The walk down to the creek was fun. Like I said I can go on and on... We had the time of our lives, created memories that will last a life time and definitely made new friends along the way! If you want to get out the city and have a great time STAY HERE!!!

These are wonderful hosts. The cabin is quaint and nicely decorated, with every detail well thought through. The location is fun whether it’s a stroll on a working ranch or simply through the woods.

Perfect cabin for a quick overnighter or a weekend getaway. The cabin was even nicer than the description; cabin was full of fun touches. Hosts are very responsive and the cabin was easy to find. Loved our stay!

The cutest little place! Safe location and had well marked signage. Cabin was so cute and peacefully quiet! Make sure to sit on the porch and listen to the birds and take a bath in the jacuzzi tub! Highly recommended :)

Great home. Very clean, with a nice view of the lake.

We had a very relaxing and peaceful weekend at Selene’s house! The view of the lake is fantastic. The patio with the grill is spacious and overlooks the view. The layout of the house is great for a group of couples, each room with a full bathroom. You’re also not too far from Fort Worth, we went into town several times and the drive wasn’t bad.

Great hosts! Selene and Ed answered all our questions, were excellent in accommodating our needs, it was a gorgeous place and I would definitely recommend friends stay at their place!

This place is truly special. Serene beauty with the lake lapping and trees rustling....we had a halcyon few days in this lovely space. Sparkling clean and well equipped, you have everything you need. The only element that topped the house itself is Ed, the wonderful host who went far beyond the call of duty and who could not have been kinder.
