    Scott2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Such a beautiful home. Lance was very nice, polite and flexible with any requests we had. Bukowski was adorable, friendly and a great addition to the experience. The house was very clean when we got there, we had no issues and really enjoyed the entire time during this stay. I recommend this spot as a good place to get away and relax with some of the best views.

    Matthew2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Lance was really nice, comfortable to be around and very helpful for what to do around Portland and other things. He even made us coffee in the morning! The views were gorgeous, especially waking up for the sunrise. If you are looking for a place to stay with a good view, and you like cats, this is the place!!

  • Lance was such a great host, super helpful as well as easy to get along with. Bukowski did steal my heart<3 This by far, is my favorite place I have stayed. I'll dream about living the dream that Lance has for a long time...his taste is impeccable, especially if you are a sucker for MidCentury Modern decor. I didn't want to leave the treehouse oasis. Thanks for everything Lance!

Our stunning guest house has everything you need! Revel in the luxurious, lofted queen bedroom, where vaulted ceilings & large windows deliver floods of natural light. Cook a special meal over wine in the modern kitchen, or indulge in complimentary Stumptown coffee & organic cream! Walk 1 block to bustling Division St to restaurants, coffeeshops, foodcarts, & other urban adventures! Escape to the forests of Mt Tabor, just a 10-minute walk! Enjoy privacy- guesthouse is at the back of property :-)
The loft is located in our backyard in Southeast Portland. While we are only steps away if you need us, the space is very private. In fact, guests report that they forget they are in the middle of the city when they stay in our space! We live in a desirable and fun neighborhood, and parking can be tight! Guests usually find parking within a block or two of our house. At night or during busy times of the day, parking can be found within two short blocks. Guests may feel free to use our driveway for loading/unloading. We do not have a TV in the guesthouse, but offer excellent wifi access.
Our neighborhood has everything you will need, mostly within a five-minute walk! And if you want to visit a different part of the city, there is convenient public transportation around the corner. Check out excellent coffeeshops blocks away (Good Coffee and Stumptown), delicious and intimate restaurants (Bete Lukas, Tasty & Daughters, Petite Provence, Fern Kitchen), or walk up to Mt. Tabor Park. If you're into yoga, there's an awesome space (Yoga Union) around the corner.
  • Laurel & Brian’s guest house did not disappoint! It was very clean and comfortable- felt like a home away from home. It was perfect for my stay during the work week and the location was very convenient.

In the middle of a restaurant, brewery, coffee, and Portlandia paradise! This private one bedroom apartment is located in the vibrant Hawthorne District, considered to be one of the best neighborhoods for tourists in the city! Close to everything! I am a food blogger (pizza) here in Portland, and love sharing my favorite spots in the city. See our reviews! Our guests share all you need to see before booking! :) Please inquire for dates more than 6 months out. We look forward to hosting you!
The lower apartment is fresh, clean, modern, new construction with lots of light. We welcome you as our guest(s). Enjoy a fresh cup of local coffee while sitting by the fireplace. APARTMENT: roughly 700 square feet legal Alternative Dwelling Unit (ADU) in the lower level of our 1911 Bungalow home. Spacious for solo travelers or couples, and can also accommodate up to 4 guests. The apt is under our living space, has sound mitigation, and includes its own entrance, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living area. Brand new concrete floors throughout, with insulation underneath. BEDROOM: new queen bed, next to full bath, fresh sheets, blankets, luggage rack, dresser, night stands, and wall heater. BATHROOM: shower and bathtub, shampoo, soap, lotion, hair dryer, towels, and more. KITCHEN: full sink, full electric range, range hood, fridge, microwave, basic cookware, glasses/dishes/silverware, and a coffee machine. Everything is new. Perfect for long or short stays. LIVING AREA: leather Pottery Barn sleeper sofa, television, natural gas and thermostat-controlled fireplace, wifi, Chromecast (allowing you to stream from your Netflix and other Chromecast enabled accounts). The sleeper sofa folds out to a queen sized bed. SOUND: Our family of 3 lives in the unit above and though well insulated, some noise is audible between floors (not voices or music, but footsteps). We do our best to keep quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 8:30 AM. We also provide a white noise machine that isn't necessary for most guests, but is available. LAUNDRY: your own washer/dryer combo machine is located under the kitchen counter. PARKING: free street parking with no hourly limit. This is a big advantage versus staying downtown where there is a nightly parking fee. Generally there is ample parking supply just outside the apt. • This is a gem tucked into a safe neighborhood near Hawthorne in Portland. Blaine and Taylor are gracious hosts who communicate often to make sure you have what you need and are comfortable. The bed is amazing! It is one of the most comfortable I have slept on away from home. You will find this apartment to be efficient and set up with everything you will need. Lots of welcoming special touches. We loved our five day stay there!

    Jean2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Blaine is an extremely responsive, helpful and welcoming host. The apartment is spotless, and he provides all that is needed for a very comfortable stay. The location is great! As Blaine describes in his listing, there is some noise transfer from the upstairs to the downstairs apartment...specifically footsteps. Unfortunately, I was awakened by footsteps in the middle of the night, even though I know that folks upstairs where trying to be quiet. That said, if you are sensitive to noise, as I am, this may not be the best place for you to stay. Blaine does provide a white noise machine. My son, who slept on the pullout sofa in the living room, found these to be very helpful.

  • This Hawthorne Haven is amazing. So close to the action in Portland for food and fun. Very chic and stylish place to keep you cozy. Just a Uber or Lyft to any hotspot and the “Haven” is nestled in a quiet neighborhood. Prefect place to stay if you are new to Portland! 5 stars!

    McArthur2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great space that was very clean and just as advertised. The location was perfect, parking was a non issue, and it was very quiet despite being in a densely populated area.

    Jordan2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • I absolutely adore this place! My partner and I came in town for the weekend and never wanted to leave this space when it came time to follow our own itinerary. It was so clean, smelled great, is super and so freaking cute! Blaine provided great accommodations/complimentary items with the space. I love that they provided a manual for the entire place and its gadgets along with recommended places to site-see and to eat; it was very helpful and much appreciated. I hope to stay here for all my visits back to Portland if I can. I was not in a hurry to leave.

Whatever your reason may be for visiting Portland, my place is in an ideal geographical location and in close proximity to many of Portland's top destination spots. The apartment has great views of the city and overlooks the Burnside Bridge and Willamitte River. I like to keep my place clean with all the modern essentials of an apartment such as a Chemex, All-Clad cookware, linen sheets, and a fridge full of all sorts of hot sauces to name a few.
This studio apartment has exposed concrete in which a wall separates the living and bedroom space. There is a queen bed in the bedroom area and a futon couch in the living room area, which is surrounded by plants and terrariums. The kitchen is equipped with All-Clad cookware, Bodum french press, Bodum tea press, Chemex, Hario manual coffee grinder, cookbooks, and other items for your culinary needs. I have a water filter and drinks in the fridge that you are welcome to as well as a free range use of everything in the kitchen, including teas and Yerba Mate in the drawers. There is a washer and dryer in the apartment that you have access to. In the bathroom, I have available Kiehl's shampoo and face wash as well as local favorite from Portland's very own Maak Lab multi-use wet soap, which can be used on body, hand, face, and hair.
The apartment has great views of the city and overlooks the Burnside Bridge and Willamitte River. It is blocks away from Portland favorites like Olympia Provisions (best eggs benedicts), Ristretto Roasters, Water Avenue Coffee, Sizzle Pie, Le Pigeon, and Nong’s Khao Man Gai and Voodoo Donuts and Stumptown Coffee are just across the bridge.
  • Great location by Burnside bridge. Spent almost two weeks here for work, this apartment was great for productivity and convenient for walking to restaurants. Gym in building is excellent.

  • I had an amazing stay at V’s place. It had a great view and the place was clean and provided a lot of amenities.

    Raul2019-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great studio with everything you could need as a business traveler. The building is nice and new and conveniently located to visit different parts of Portland. Would definitely recommend.

    Vicki2019-11-14T00:00:00Z
  • I had an amazing stay at V’s. The apartment is perfect for my short stay in Portland and it has everything that I needed. I was on a solo trip and was considering to stay in a hotel room as I didn’t need much space but then I found V’s apartment and glad I made the booking. Love the stylish design, the place was clean, with beautiful view of the river and perfect location. V is also very responsive and communicative, all check in and check out process were done smoothly. If you’re looking for a nice place with modern design and beautiful view of Portland and value for money, I would definitely recommend this place! A bit of downside: the noise from music playing at the skate park nearby can be a disturbance if you’re trying to sleep early as the music run late especially on weekend, as well as car’s sounds from the highway.

    Kooswardini2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • Great location and a great space for a solo traveler or a couple. Appreciated the fast WiFi, washer/dryer, dishwasher, and big screen tv. Absolutely stunning view of the river and Portland skyline, especially sunset and at night.

    William2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • The perfect building with a fabulous spa; stylish, clean and a great view of the iconic Welcome to Portland Old Town sign and Saturday Market. The neighborhood is gorgeous and not far from the river walk. The space is well suited for a couple. It had everything we needed - well heated, nice fluffy towels, comfy bed, good coffee, fridge, and some delightful touches (nice moisturizer, book of things to do). Check in was very simple, Sari was responsive. Highly recommend!

I normally book private single homes for my Airbnb experiences, however it was a very pleasant stay and very private considering the room is a part of the main house in the basement. As a guest you can be as private or social as you want! Excellent location close to everything. The host family was very gracious and welcoming. Perfect for solo travelers!

You are welcome to responsibly smoke tobacco and cannabis outside only. There are many dispensaries within walking distance. Family amenities are available upon request: portable crib, baby bath, high chair, etc. The Magic Barn was Todji's sculpture studio for fifteen years. Most of the sculptures in the sculpture garden were sculpted right here and are exhibited for everyone to experience. When Todji first moved into the main house as a renter, the Magic Barn was a crooked old shed with broken windows, no electricity, water or heat and was filled with trash. Todji turned it into his sculpture studio, and then purchased the house in 2004 when banks were giving loans to anyone, including self-employed artists! Todji rented rooms to other artists while restoring the old house and building his career as a fine art sculptor. Todji and Gisele painted the outside of The Magic House and Magic Barn with seven colors over three summers. During the summer of 2015 Todji designed and built the Magic Barn with the talented carpenters and fine art painters Theo Holdt and TJ Ravenwolf. The interior wood siding are salvaged old growth barn planks, and the ceiling is made of the original 1936 rafters and sheathing. Look at the outside walls to see the twist in the structure, and Gisele's beautiful painting! TJ’s painting is hanging above the couch. TJ is native American from the Alaskan tribes of Koyukon Athabaskan and Muscogee Creek. TJ collected all of the natural pigments in the painting from areas around Oregon in prayer, and his prayer in painting now graces the Magic Barn. Todji and Gisele produce public art bronze sculpture monuments for US cities which you may already have seen, or that you may see one day. Hobie is your onsite host and he He is a novelist and professional writer. He is available to both respect privacy and also assist during your stay. We support the local art community by giving cleaning and maintenance work at the Magic House to community artists. Thank you for reading our story, we hope to host you at the Magic Barn!

For those who are visiting the gorge for the first time, I recommend visiting the most spectacular, and also the most touristicated, 600 foot Multnomah Falls. For those who want a challenging half day hike you can begin at Multnomah Falls and hike a loop called the Franklin Ridge Loop. It was so nice to open the blinds in the morning and just let the serenity of the location fill you with peace. It had everything we needed and we would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

    Kristina2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • This place was our last stop on our “Oregon tour”. And I’m so happy that it was the last stop. This place is so serene we never left the compound. It will really take your breath away. Andy decorated the place very modern, clean and simple. We wish we lived in a place like this in real life. This spot is about 20-30 min away from Portland and we would stay here Again and again

    Malgorzata2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • This is a wonderful place for a quiet getaway from the busyness of life. Great for a “stay-in” trip where you want to just sit and relax. Has a beautiful view that will leave you in awe. The space is well thought out and is very comfortable. It’s a “studio” with a separated bedroom and easy access to the washer and dryer in unit.

This off-the-beaten-path home in a quiet neigbhorhood is close to Max Line, Bus Lines and Mt. Tabor Park with easy PDX airport access. The large back yard makes it feel like you are in the countryside rather than a city neighborhood and the Mt. Hood Wilderness and Columbia Gorge are so close you can stay off major highways to get to many outdoor destinations.
You'll notice our home is solarized! Everyone shares the same entrance, through the yellow door. Our backyard is home to 3 chickens and a duck, and includes a lovely CSA garden a friend maintains. Feel free to check it out and have a swing under the tree house/lookout tower.
Our quiet neighborhood popped up in the 50's and was not considered Portland until the 90's! You can walk to a beautiful library, a taproom/sports bar with 4-7 happy hour daily, a bubble tea house and many dentists! Powell Butte and Mt Tabor are nearby for beautiful and grounding nature walks.
  • This stay was very relaxing! Very kind people!

    Alicia2019-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • Jonathan’s place provides a lot of space and conveniences very close to several PDX bus stops. The washer and dryer are in the lower level which is the one I rented. I was there in July/August so the lower level apartment was nice and cool. The neighborhood is peaceful and it is a quick walk to Rite Aid, McGraff’s Fish House, Dollar Store etc. I utilized TriMet for many trips to Oregon City, Sellwood, and Portland. I was amazed at how many transit trip options were within a short walking distance — this is not a one-bus line location, so use your Smartphone to find the quickest trip.

    Michael2019-08-12T00:00:00Z

Covid-19 Update: While we have always had good cleaning practices we are working extra hard to insure that our cottage is clean and disinfected between each guest. Be assure, that should you chose to travel, every door handle and knob will be wiped down! City of Portland Permit # 18-175497
The guest cottage is in a quiet neighborhood in SE Portland. High ceilings make this studio airy and bright. We think of it as a perfect hotel room without the hotel. The small galley kitchen has everything you need to cook a gourmet meal. There is a full bathroom with tub and shower. Parking is available in the driveway, we leave it open for guests. The cottage stands on its own making it perfect for coming and going as you please. There is one queen sized bed, but we can put a twin mattress on the floor if you are traveling with a child. Washer and dryer are available in the main house with arrangement. The cottage is a non-smoking space.
This is a quiet neighborhood. The cottage is a mile from Woodstock which has good coffee, a bakery, fish market, some restaurants and grocery stores including New Seasons. It is four blocks from the Springwater Corridor bike path that leads to Sellwood and eventually the river and downtown. Reed College is 2 miles away through a nice neighborhood full of trees and interesting architecture.
  • We loved this place! It’s was super comfortable, aesthetically pleasing, super sweet touches around the place & it has everything you need. We will definitely stay there again.

Ranch style home in a friendly, quiet neighborhood. Park & school a block away. Close to bus stop, 205 bike path, 205, 224 & 213. Fenced backyard-pets OK! The house is not in Portland but is relatively close especially if driving. You can park in the driveway if space or in front of the house. The bus runs regularly on weekdays but weekends/eves can be hard-check Trimet trip planner using SE Clackamas Rd & Webster Rd to make sure it's OK for you. Arrival needs to be arranged & may be after 6 pm.
Bright open room with double bed, nightstand and lamp, dresser, desk and chair, full length mirror and shelves. Comfortable for two. Shared guest bathroom is directly across the hall. Hardwood floors. You can enjoy the rest of the house and backyard.
My home is in a quiet, very safe, residential area with a park down the street and a school across the other way. This is a good place for a walk, run or ride. The 205 bike path is just up the road and goes all the way into Vancouver, WA. It also connects with the Spring Water Corridor bike path. There is a Safeway, Starbucks, Subway, pizza place, gas station, Chinese Restaurant, hair and nail places, beauty salons, dry cleaners and laundry mat, internet coffee shop and convenience stores just up the street. This is a very safe place to live and easy to get to anywhere around. Downtown is about 20 minutes away without traffic (longer now in rush hour), Mt Hood is less than an hour and is magnificent. The Oregon coast is about 1.5-2 hours away depending on where you are going. The Clackamas River Recreational area is close, as is Mt Hood for hiking and camping. There are rivers within minutes. I love this place! Arrival will need to be arranged because I likely will be working.

It is private and having coffee on the deck with that view is so great! I honestly have no desire to look elsewhere if I am going to be in the area again. It was just perfect and had a very cozy, home feeling. I also felt very spoiled with that tub. Lol I will be recommending this place to anyone I can. Loved it!

Comfortable bed, nice bathroom, the balcony was so peaceful with the view! They even had cute bunnies outside! I would definitely recommend this to anyone! Plus— they stocked us up with some DELICIOUS snacks!

Come stay in a cozy wall tent on our gorgeous urban farmstead! You'll have access to all the facilities in the house, but the privacy and charm of a beautiful canvas wall tent. This is Portland glamping at its best. We are a small community of artists, musicians, thinkers, and all around good people. We love meeting new people and sharing our space.
The space is on a half-acre with a 1909 farmhouse as the centerpiece. We want you to feel at home to use the outdoors of the garden and comfort of the house. Nothing is off limits!
We are located in the heart of Portlands "Jade District," walking distance from dozens of the most authentic Asian food restaurants you will find. There are also excellent coffee shops adjacent to college very close by.
  • Really cool people, yard, and tent. I was prepared for the cold weather by having a good jacket and Dirk made sure I was comfortable with lots of blankets and a cozy sleeping bag. Everyone I met was very friendly, I wish I could have stayed longer. Highly recommend especially if you are on a budget like me!

  • Good spot, nice big yard for a furry friend. Close to some of the best spots to eat on 82nd.

    Marisa2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful people. Not intrusive but always there if you need them. They’re incredibly polite and hospitable.... just all around we had an amazing time and would happily stay with them again and again

    Donovan2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • It was nice to stay @ Dirk & Corey's personal glamping spot! We had everything we needed & slept great in the tent. A little family of racoons enjoyed being outside of the tent on the 1st night but we love to camp & enjoy the outdoors. The weather was perfect & couldn't have made the stay much more perfect.

    V2019-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • It's a cute and unique experience, so if the urban "glamping" at all tempts you, you won't regret it. The yard is quiet, relaxing, and perfect for reading a book with a can of wine after a busy day. My two biggest pieces of advice is to take account the weather and bring a portable charger.

    Katie2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Great spot. Cool folks!

    Ben2019-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • This is such a great space! My partner and I came to Portland for their birthday weekend and this Airbnb made our trip very special. The tent felt very secure and spacious and we had easy access to a fridge, bathroom, and an awesome shower- all just across the very beautiful back yard. Dirk was super friendly and accommodating, as were the other people living in the home. The dogs are gentle sweethearts and hanging out with them was a major perk. I was thrilled to find out that we were only three minutes away from Doe Donuts, which is where you can go for the best donuts in Portland and I highly recommend checking them out. We were also just a quick drive to Southeast Portland. This place offers an enchanting retreat experience and I would recommend it to anybody who loves being a little closer to nature. We would definitely stay here again!

    Elisa2019-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • This Airbnb is a perfect getaway for the summer! My husband and I enjoyed every little thing during our stay. Our dog had a great time as well, huge yard with other friendly dogs on this property. Dirk and Corey was very quick with responds and also very informative. Such a relaxed and friendly environment. Would love to stay here again if we have the chance to visit Portland again!

  • Very impressed with overall experience!

  • Alyssa's place is a beautiful, spacious spotlessly clean basement remodel, with a fabulous, gigantic bathroom and shower, filtered water to drink, and a super comfortable and cozy bed-- plus an entire living room with giant TV to boot! The neighborhood is a bit out of the way, but-- on the plus side-- parking is abundant, and it is super quiet. Highly recommended!

  • Excellent space, good location, easy check in and check out

    Faith2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Though our stay was only one night, it was beyond what we expected. The place was unique, clean and comfortable, in fact, it felt like home! There were clear instructions on how to enter the unit and work everything. We loved being so close to the city yet in a quiet neighborhood. The one bedroom cozy basement suite was exactly what we wanted after a long day of hiking. Definitely the place to stay if you want to get a feel for life in Portland!

    Dulce2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • It's an amazing place, very clean and the TV was huge!! The host, Alyssa was very friendly and made us felt welcomed. The place is perfect if you wanted to be away from the main city, it's a drive but they got cool spots around if you wanted to stay within the area. Kudos to the place!!

Recently built guest room is complete with private, modern bathroom, kitchenette, with sink, microwave and refrigerator, queen bed and 55"TV home theater. Professionally landscaped surroundings in a woodsy setting make this an amazing get-away.
This guest room has a private entrance and is separated from the main house by a locked door. You have complete privacy if desired. We live on five, wooded acres and the setting is very peaceful and beautiful. I am a professional landscaper and the landscaping around the entire house is source of great pride for us.
We live in the Hamlet of BeaverCreek. We are surrounded by 5 acre home lots and larger wooded areas so during the summer time, when the leaves are on the trees, we have complete privacy and seclusion. It is absolutely beautiful. We are about 10-15 minutes from downtown Oregon City. 20 minutes to West Linn. 25 minutes to Milo McIver State Park. 30 minutes to downtown Portland or the Portland Airport. 45 minutes to the Columbia River Gorge Scenic Highway. 1 hour to Timberline Lodge. Hour and a half to the Oregon Coast.
  • Great hosts. Very clean. Fantastic style

    Guy2019-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • Dean and Jill's place is super cute and very comfortable. The bed was super comfy and everything was as presented in the pictures. The setting is really nice and I'm sure beautiful in the spring and summer. I was there over Thanksgiving and it got into the 20s but the landscaping was still very beautiful and the area is secluded but not too secluded. It was close and convenient to visit relatives I was there to see.

    Candy2019-11-30T00:00:00Z

Nestled among tall cedars, you'll find the Creekside Cozy Cabin a perfect place to relax and enjoy its calm surroundings. While there are neighbors on both sides of the cabin, you still get that country feel away from the city. We are 20 miles from PDX Airport and 21 miles from Downtown Portland, but the drive out to the cabin is worth every mile.
The kitchen is equipped with a full-sized refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster and Keurig coffee maker. When there is a chill in the air, guests may warm up the space using the wood stove in the living room. (We request it not be used during the dry summer months) There is a small back room off of the bedroom that is set up with a double bed. There is a Queen air bed that could be set up in the living room, or out on the deck during summer months under the stars. We think that the best part of the cabin is sitting on the deck listening to the sounds of rapids in the creek. It is a special place to sit in the morning with a good cup of coffee or to wind down at the end of the day.
There are friendly neighbors on either side of the Cabin. Please respect their privacy and keep noise levels down in the evening. Due to the small size of the driveway, parking is limited to two cars. Street parking is unavailable as the Cabin is located on a narrow road. While the path to the creek from the cabin is steep, there is a nice path that you can access from the road.
  • We will be back. The cabin was just what we were expecting and everyone was happy being there. I always enjoy sitting outside to eat when I can, even in the cold rain, and the seats were dry under the roof so I was able to put on my stocking cap and be out there. Best touch was the wood stove already going when we arrived.

Tiny House In The Trees. A walk down a steep well lit driveway takes you to a unique private little place with everything an adventurous spirit needs. Only 30 minutes from Portland. One hour or less from the ski lifts as well as hiking trails and waterfalls in the Columbia Gorge. Only 15 minutes from the Clackamas River. Located in Damascus Oregon.
This charming little house is located under the trees on our one acre sloped and naturally landscaped property. Keep in mind that it's not for folks with physical limitations due to the steep driveway. Minimally but modernly furnished with a brand new futon and high quality mattress, single burner for cooking, mini fridge, microwave, shower, toilet, and 32" television with built-in Fire TV. The comfy futon has plenty of cushy bedding to make one feel relaxed for a great night's sleep. Plus, your own private deck and access to our solar heated pool during the 5 month summer season (mid May - September). A one of a kind sure to please the young at heart and outdoorsy type looking for a retreat with modern luxuries. In addition, we are not far from so many great restaurants in SE Portland (30 min.), Natural Grocery Store (10 min. away).
  • The place is cute and well equipped. The location is perfect and private and the hosts were very attentive and generous. [The area does have a power issue here and there but they made sure we were taken care of when the next morning the power turned off for a bit. It really didn't cause us any issues because we had such great hosts. ] I would definitely stay again. The privacy and perks definitely exceeded our expectations!

25 minutes from PDX this little den-like room offers solitude facing the north side of the house, away from the farm. Great value, unique stay. Fully appointed, small room as well as a minimalist kitchenette in the common area. Pets and service animals welcome for $5 each pet, each day.
Simple, clean and safe, you will sleep well and be on your way for a great price in a quiet country setting close to everything you need. This room is used by guests that have pets, there are pets and livestock on the property and may not suitable for guests with any kind of allergies. Your space is private with a shared bathroom and kitchenette. The overall vibe is a casual country family home that is more cozy than formal. The guest lounge/game room area and deck are available 10 AM to 10 PM, featuring a desk, elliptical, tv, sofa, darts, video & board games, corn hole, pellet stove, fire pit, hot tub and grill.
Though it feels deceptively remote, Hoot-N-Nanny is tucked in a hillside above Abernathy Creek 2 miles from Clackamas Community College, shopping, banking, gas and other amenities, 30 minutes from PDX and downtown Portland. Besides three fantastic neighbors on my street, we have an abundance of wildlife that traverse from the creek, through the draw to the pasture & apple tree along the driveway.
  • Elizabeth and Tom's place is in a lovely, quiet setting. An adorable group of farm animals and very friendly cat charmed me immediately upon arrival. The home was clean and ready for guests. Tom was friendly, welcoming, and kindly oriented me to the property, with an invitation to use the hot tub, grill, living room, kitchen, and other amenities. For light sleepers, earplugs or sound-cancelling devices are recommended, as there is no physical sound barrier between upstairs and down. It was a great "mini-retreat" accommodation while attending a conference nearby.

  • Elizabeth's place was all I could ask for. Her backyard is beautiful, the room was private and comfortable, there were a plethora of digital amenities, the wifi is great, and my dog felt so comfortable. Everything is laid out so clearly and easy to find with great style and hospitality. Great choice for a long or short stay in the beautiful Oregon countryside, and not too far away from the city to make it a great price point. If I find myself back in the area, I'll highly consider stayinghere again.

Sandy's first and only Tiny House! Although this home is located just a mile from Hwy 26 within Sandy's city limits, it's located on a private 23 acres, so you'll feel completely secluded. This makes it the perfect place to stay while visiting the Mt. Hood area. The tiny house was built to capture the amazing view of Mt. Hood. The home was designed around a moving window wall system that completely opens to the outdoors allowing for one of the best views of Mt. Hood. We hope you enjoy!!!
This is the first and only Tiny house in the Sandy area! A unique cabin feel made with natural cedar siding, reclaimed hardwood floors and doors, live edge counters, and beautiful craftsman handiwork throughout. There is no place like it!!
This beautiful tiny house is located in Sandy city limits with restaurants and stores nearby, but on a remote 23 acres. 30 minutes from Mt. Hood and skiing. 10 minutes from world class hiking/mountain biking. Also only 40 minutes to downtown Portland and PDX airport. The perfect in between location for outdoorsy adventure and city glam! We live just a mile off highway 26 but at the end of a short private road out on a bluff. It is very remote and extremely quite!!!

She gave us great info on local restaurants and things to do. She was always timely in communication and made check-in/out extremely easy. The house itself was spotless and beautiful inside. The view is breathtaking of course, and the fireplace completes the cabin vibe. I really hope we make it back here sometime in the future.

  • Elizabeth and Tom are great hosts. They made us feel comfortable, and exceeded all expectations. The room was great, the bed comfortable, and the property is as unique as it looks on the site. We enjoyed being able to interact with the animals. Shopping is very close by, Oregon City has lots of restaurants, and stores close by. When you are on the property you feel like you are in a rural mountain area, but you are really very close to all of the things you need in town. We would stay there again.

The home is beautiful, warm and inviting and I love the fact that it is tucked away in a great forested neighborhood (but still close to town). Most everything you could ask for in a comfortable stay is at your fingertips. I highly recommend their place and would absolutely stay there in the future.

Welcome to our farm and Lille Hus! First, rest easy knowing that we deep clean with bleach and other anti-viral's between EVERY guest. Second, we want you to enjoy this wonderful area! Our 100+ acre farm is about 5 miles NE of Mt. Angel, Oregon and sits in the beautiful Willamette Valley. Easy walking trails are close by and we are nicely located to many of the amazing attractions in the area. We are 10 miles east from the I5, Woodburn exit and 2 miles from the metropolis, Monitor.
Lille Hus (Norwegian for little house) was part of the original home on this century farm. It is a single room with kitchenette and small bathroom with shower only (Approx. 20' x 15'). Though it is rustic, it has a beautiful wood floor, original cabinets, the original wavy glass windows and thoughtful furnishings. From the house, you can explore our small woodlands or take a bike ride on rural back roads. It's also a great base camp for exploring the best of the Willamette Valley and the Cascade Range. We are happy to tell you about our favorite hikes and hidden places. We're minutes from the Oregon Garden, Mt. Angel Oktoberfest, Swan Island Dahlias, and the Wooden Shoe Tulip festival. If you catch us on "baking day" you will find goodies on the counter. :^)
We are in a rural farming area, about a 15 minute drive from the nearest grocery store. With this in mind, we have attempted to give Lille Hus many essentials (oil, sugar, spices, etc) to make your stay comfortable. If you have specific questions about what the house has in stock, please let us know.
  • They make you bread!

  • Another successful stay was had.

    Forrest2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • This stay was very welcoming and clean. Beautiful property and views and the freshly baked bread was a fantastic touch! Will be returning with my wife next time. Highly recommend.

    Brennan2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • We thoroughly enjoyed our night's stay at Scott & Kathy's cottage. The description is very accurate and the nice touches and treats at the place were pleasing. We are already planning a return visit during the nearby tulip festival. We recommend this stay for people who appreciate the farm environment and the nostalgia that comes with such a vintage dwelling. The place is spotless and very comfortable, and we loved the view out the windows. Definitely take the well-marked hike to the creek and plan to have a picnic at the nearby picnic table in the woods. In contrast, the Airbnb we stayed at later on the Oregon Coast was 100% IKEA and Wayfair and very impersonal. We much preferred the farm stay! One tip is to try to arrive at the farm in daylight. After dark, finding the place would be more challenging. The Google Maps and GPS are accurate, but you still feel off the beaten path.

    Wesley2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic Airbnb experience! Scott and Kathy's place is quaint, the amenities are abundant and thoughtful, communication is on point, price is very reasonable and they are very nice hosts. I've been in a different Airbnb once a week for the past 4 weeks for work trips and this is by far my favorite. I hope to stay again on my next work trip!

    Forrest2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Stylish, comfortable, thoughtful. A true gem of a guesthouse.

    Sam2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • This place is cozy... that word often has an undertone of WAY TOO small, but this place is just right. Very nice for one, couple and possibly a small child. Beautiful setting with hummingbirds outside my window. Really enjoyed this one and will return.

    Thomas2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • What a sweet cottage! We enjoyed the quiet and green scenery of the surrounding countryside. A great getaway after a busy week. The fresh baked bread was a bonus.

House facing the river in the historical Canemah District. 2 minutes away from downtown , and just across the street from the river 2 minute walk to Feckin Brewery, bus stop a couple mins away and downtown is just a 2 minute drive.
The room is a quiet simple small clean room We recently moved into the house so at the moment the room only has the basics. There is no TV at the moment and the bed is a queen bed, unlimited wifi and tv in the living room. Please consider there are 2 kids in the house. In case you are not okay being around kids :)

A longer walk (3 miles) takes you to the Foster Wetlands. The hikes of Powell Butte are a few minutes drive away, and Jenny Butte Park just a bit further. Recent guest comments about Moss Rock Retreat: "The tiny house is so cozy... especially with the raindrops putting us to sleep at night." ~Catherine "Your hospitality was phenomenal!" ~Ryan "This place is so compact, yet pours so much positivity and fresh air into one's soul. The neighborhood, built along Johnson Creek, is quiet, secluded, and forested. Think semi-rural. You might hear the occasional goat or chicken. You'll see and hear all kinds of birds, including hawks, owls, and sometimes eagles. We are just a few blocks from Foster Avenue, but it feels like a world away. Amenities such as stores and restaurants are definitely a drive, so a car (or frequent use of Lyft or Uber) is a must, unless you're a pro at public transportation (the nearest stop is a .5 mile walk). While commercial necessities require a car, nature is right here. An easy walk will take you to Leach Botanical Garden, the Foster Floodplain Natural Area, a 63-acre reclaimed floodplain, to Zenger Farm, a working urban farm, or to the Springwater Corridor Trail. A 7-minute drive takes you to Powell Nature Butte for great hikes and a panoramic view of the surrounding mountain ranges, or to Scouter's Mountain for the perfect view of Mt. Hood. Speaking of Mt. Hood... this majestic recreation area is less than an hour's drive from the house. Forest, rivers, snow, and Timberline Lodge are all an easy day trip way. The bustle and hustle of downtown Portland might feel like a distant memory when you are here at Moss Rock, but all those fantastic restaurants and museums are but a short 20-25 trip. For a quick bite out, we recommend the ever-fabulous Portland Mercado or Zoiglhaus Brewing Company. And not far away are the excellent eateries along Woodstock Blvd.
  • Virginia was amazingly welcoming, even introduced me to all the chickens! The tiny house was not only cozy but so clean. Extensive library and the softest sheets ever. You want to stay here

  • I can’t stay enough wonderful things about Moss Rock Retreat! The tiny house is gorgeous and packed full of amenities. Plus, you have access to the entire grounds, which includes the sweetest bunny, chickens, and garden with several little walking paths. The tiny house also has a little library curated for writers, which I loved. The WiFi was spotty at best, but we liked that! Ideal for anyone looking to unplug and unwind, or write! The hosts greeted us upon arrival and showed us around the house and space, so it was more involved than the usual lock box entrance which was also nice! We would definitely stay here again!

    Jordan2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • This tiny home did not disappoint - cozy, quiet and secluded - the perfect getaway! You’re about 20 minutes from downtown and from the airport. Virginia and Matt are amazing hosts who went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect!

  • If you’re looking for something different, this tiny house is what you’re looking for! The location was interesting with pretty winding roads and the hosts were very welcoming. The property is gorgeous and Matt have us some history about the land which was a nice touch. The house itself was clean and tidy and the beds were comfortable. The chickens were awesome too! Great experience from start to finish!

A colorful quintessential Portland studio. The studio has easy access from the side entrance. It is a private, comfortable, quiet, colorful and cozy space. Provided is a shared pleasant bathroom at the head of the stairs.
The place is colorfully painted and decorated with furnishings that I have personally refurbished and other quirky and beautiful things. The kitchen is small, but fairly well equipped with basic appliances (sink, 2 burner stove, refrigerator), electric water kettle, pots and pans, dishes etc, crockpot. The bed is a double mattress dressed with natural materials. There is a TV but o cable, although there is internet.
I live on a relatively quiet street in a residential area within walking distance from a busy commercial strip.
  • Such a sweet, welcoming host! Great location, beautiful room!! Wish I could have stayed longer! :)

At this time we are open I have always cleaned well and am disinfecting. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a store that is walkable If you are in town please consider a relaxing house and yard. This is Mid Century at its finest, large yard, walking distance to town. I stay in the trailer in the back yard I am only around if you need something.
The home is warm, fun and inviting your comfort is my goal. I ran a Bed and Breakfast for many years so really enjoy this.
The Dalilah fields are a 5 minute drive, local antique Store in Aurora 10 minutes, great golf course, and the Woodburn outlet malls are 15 minute drive.
