Hogsback is a small village in the Amathole Mountains (Eastern Cape, South Africa) with an atmosphere of pure fantasy. Its' magical forests, waterfalls and mountains are perfect for hiking, sight seeing, bird watching and is a botanists' playground! It’s said that the mystical forests described in J.R.R.Tolkien’s famous trilogy, “The Lord of the Rings” was influenced by the Hogsback landscape as his son was part of the Royal Air Force in the region and sent Tolkien detailed sketches and descriptions of the Hogsback forests. Treat your tummy with delicious food at different little restaurants & quirky hotels, spoil a loved one (or yourself!) with unique hand-crafted items and feast your eyes on special attractions all the way from the beginning to end of the village.
  • Anke’s teepee experience is awesome! The property is home to more than 20 rescue dogs, all of which are friendly upon arrival. The teepee is very comfortable and clean. Each teepee has its own big bathroom, and the water is hot with good pressure. Anke gave us great tips on hiking routes. We loved this stay!

  • 100 % AWESOME !!! This isn’t just the kind of place to stay if you find yourself in Hogsback, this is the kind of place you should drive all day just to stay at! Anke, Tyl, and her team were so warm and friendly, and the teepee village they have built is inspiring beyond words. Every little touch was so well thought out, and their artistic sensibilities will leave you with a huge smile on your face. And can we talk about the dogs?! So many sweet dogs! It is such a cool thing they are doing and I implore you to go stay there! Go cozy up by the warm fire and pet some dogs. You will not regret it. It was our favorite Airbnb experience of all time!

  • Had the most amazing time in our little Teepee which is really clean, cozy and stylish. Anke is super friendly and helpful and the animals remind you that you are supporting a local cause. Will definitely recommend

  • We loved our stay at a hogs life! Best thing to wake up in beautiful surroundings with all the sounds of the animals. There is so much to do in Hogsback too! The accommodation is incredible, we loved being able to light a fire in the evenings. Anke is really doing an amazing thing and giving these animals a second chance at life and it’s so nice to be a part of it for a while. Definitely book to stay here and support the amazing work they are doing!

  • Wonderful experience. Everything was perfect. Will highly recommend it to anybody. Better than most 5* hotels. Loved it!

  • Anke has put a lot of effort into creating the perfect “glamping” experience. It was the absolute perfect getaway where roughing it included a very comfortable bed and couch, a very cozy Mexican fire pit which was great to fight off the cold and create an amazing atmosphere. The bathroom was clean and an absolute treat to have our own private shower and toilet. Anke herself was the true gem — her welcoming and kindly demeanor made us feel right at home. The map and all the tips made us feel like locals knowing exactly where all the great spots were. It was a truly wonderful experience and we will definitely be back again.

    Duncan2019-12-17T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing experience! Absolutely loved staying in the Tee-Pee ~ such a well thought out room in terms of living space. Having the rescue animals around was just such a delight and added a more homey feel to me personally. Beautiful location and host was on point with the tourist hot spots :) Our time was too short so we will definitely visit again.

Riddle Cottage is a cozy self-catering cottage set on one of the oldest properties in Hogsback. The main bedroom with an en-suite bathroom sleeps two people in a double bed. A single bed for couples travelling with one child is available in the lounge area. The kitchen is fully equipped for travelers preparing their own meals and a fireplace guarantees to warm everyone up during the cold winter days and nights.
While the cottage is suited to all travelers, young families with one child will particularly enjoy the magical world of Harry Potter right here at Hogwarts Forest. Whether you are a Potterhead and enjoy the spellbinding and fun decor of the cottage, or whether you just want to unwind in nature, we've got something for everyone. Little people (and big ones too) will enjoy hunting for wild berries during the summer months. Animal lovers are welcome to feed the tortoise Norbert, visit our chickens and Vietnamese Potbelly Pigs and make friends with our canine and feline house elves.
Hogsback is a place full of magic and beauty, of mountains, forests and waterfalls. It is the perfect location to unplug from the world and get back in touch with oneself and Mother Nature.
  • We loved the magical Riddel cottage with it’s muggle touches. Heike and Kinesh went out of their way to welcome us and had a wonderful tour through their herb garden and thanks for all the excellent information. Make sure you spend some time in their forest.

  • Artistic touches in including the battery back up mushroom lights and gardens to explore. Very peaceful and we brought the rain which added to the mystique of venue

    Rod2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay in this forest setting, with some lovely quirky finishing touches! Total unwind, we did, watching the chickens foraging whilst having breakfast outside. Lovely hosts with good local knowledge made for a memorable stay.

    Gideon2019-12-21T00:00:00Z
  • We wholeheartedly recommend Heike and Kinesh’s Riddle Cottage in their Hogwart’s Forest. It’s very spacious yet cozy, with a fireplace, big comfy bed, warm lighting and lots of blankets. Heike and Kinesh are the kindest and most generous hosts and you will absolutely feel at home in their little slice of paradise.

Situated in a valley, surrounded by trees, with lovely forest walks on the property and close by. Starways pottery around the corner, and Hogsback Village a short drive away. Ideal spot to unwind, breathe some fresh mountain air, and unplug from the world for a while. Having your dogs with you allows them to enjoy the lovely walks Hogsback has to offer. You can also join your host, Gerald, and his Hogsback Husky pack for a (very) brisk walk, or a mountain bike ride if you feel adventurous!
Ideal for anyone who enjoys the outdoors. Bring your mountain bike for some challenging rides, and the Hogsback Parkrun on Saturdays offers some incredible views from The Edge. Or just stretch out with a good book and let our magical mountain revitalize you.
Lovely forest areas within walking distance, off the beaten track so you have it to yourself. A short drive away is some lovely restaurants catering to all tastes, and the local pubs are certainly worth a visit. Saturday mornings are time for the Park Run at The Edge, and the local crafters market at Butterfly's. Hand made chocolates, special breads and pizza also available in the village.
  • Fantastic garden with cape parrot and Knysna loeries. Walking with the dogs was great. The house basic but everything else is too good

    Trudy2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent value for money and just what we needed.

  • Geralds house is a very nice budget accommodation a little outside Hogsback center for nature lovers. His very nice, friendly and also quite dogs live on the same ground, but are separated with a fence, so we had our privacy. We felt very welcome, the place is clean, quite and safe and provides everything you need, and Gerald was always there to answer our questions, to provide tipps or just for a little talk. A car is appropriate to get easily into center. We had a great time! Thank you! <3 :-)

    Brigitte2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing hospitality from Gerald sharing his beautiful cosy, little rustic gem in the mountains surrounded by beautiful forestry. Loved every moment, the dogs, the birds, and your genuine care at making sure I'm comfortable and especially his quick response at wiping out to compressor to pump up my flat tyre.

    Edwin2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • What an awesome place to stay. If you love the outdoors, forests, dogs and birds...you’ll love this place. Gerald is an awesome host, very helpful and easy to talk to. Cottage is very comfortable and homely, suitable for long or short stays. I’ll definitely be back whenever I get the opportunity.

    Ben2020-01-08T00:00:00Z
  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room is quite spacious and has everything you need (we cooked meals most nights). There's a little grassy spot outside where you can braai and look into the forest. Gerald was so welcoming and thoughtful offering us assistance and suggestions while still giving us a lot of privacy. We loved walking his dogs with him in the forest. We would certainly stay there again.

    Shelley2020-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • Well-appointed cottage amongst the trees waking up to the sounds of Cape Parrots. After a long drive, Gerald welcomed us to his private cottage just outside Hogsback surrounded by nature. He has lovingly rescued Huskies as well as a few other furry friends that are kept in a separate garden so we could have our own space with our doggy who we were traveling with. While the dogs were a bit intense on our arrival, they are all very sweet and calmed down nicely. Gerald is really a great host that took care of us during our stay and was always willing to answer any questions we had about the area.

    Cynthia Biddle2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • The stay at Gerald’s was great, especially with regard to having our dog with and him being able to accommodate dogs. He gave us good advice on the local activities , he also made our stag in Hogsback extra special being able to take our dog child with.

  • Anke and her place... it was such a lovely experience. Unique tee pee experience. Loved it so much!

    Anri2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • We had an awesome time, the teepee was amazing and Anke a lovely host. Staying there was a great adventure, also because of all the animals.

  • The teepee experience is awesome. It is spacious, trendy, and very comfortable. The Mexican fire pot is a great touch! Would recommend to anyone looking to try something interesting and different.

  • A Hog’s Life is one of the most unique experiences you can have at an AirBNB. The host offers you a pleasant walkthrough of how the Teepee functions and gives in-depth tips on the best places to see and visit in Hogsback. The dogs are so friendly and are an extra perk to staying there. Once the stars are out and the fire in your teepee is lit, you will have an unforgettable stay.

  • This was such a magical experience! My husband and I loved every minute of it. The teepee is beautifully decorated, and the fairy lights created an amazing ambience. The Mexican Chiminea fire pot in the teepee was much needed, as it was quite a chilly night in Hogsback, and it worked incredibly well.

My cozy yet spacious rustic eco-cabin is nestled in the Hogsback Mountains with a spectacular view of the three Hogs as well as Tor Doone. Affectionately named the Fox Den, the cabin is located on my small holding, Wild Fox Hill. The cabin is completely off the grid and is well positioned to enjoy beautiful morning and afternoon light. In the summer enjoy bonfires and outside baths under starry skies. Winters have frosty mornings, falling snow and roaring fires. Come and explore the mountains!
Wild Fox Hill is a home of berries, fruit and indigenous trees, mountain scapes, light and abundant stars. The endangered Cape Parrot is a regular presence in the area and we are close to the secret waterfall, a local dam, beautiful flower filled grasslands, forests and extraordinary mountain views perfect for sundowners.
Hogsback is a truly magical place, where it feels like gravity holds me here. It's a place of possibility, sacred spaces, expansive skys, intriguing forests, sparkling waters, and beautiful grasslands.
  • What a beautiful space! Enjoyed it immensely!

    Juli2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely eco cabin. The view is stunning and everything was really clean. We enjoyed our stay. However the WiFi did not work and there was no toilet paper and no soap.

  • What a stunning cabin with the most beautiful view. Such a friendly and welcoming host! Loved the friendly animals around. Can't wait to go back!

  • Really cool place to relax and enjoy the beautiful area. The cabin is awesome and has everything you need to be comfortable including a wood burning fire place in the den. Helen is a super nice host and gave us great info for the area and we did a nice trail run she suggested to an 800 year old tree and tall waterfall. Great value!

    Bryan2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • A great place to stay! Such a spectacular view and a blessing to stay at a eco cabin.

    Anna2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you, Helen, for being a wonderful host in Hogsback. My friends and I were more than happy with the accommodation. The cabin is gorgeous and clean, and the views are wonderful. The beds were particularly comfortable and we felt right at home throughout. Thank you for suggesting we visit your sunset spot, it was the highlight of our trip. Although we only stayed one night, we wished we were staying longer and we definitely hope to come by again soon!

    Liam2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time at your cottage in the sky. So beautiful from up there. The position and being high up above the trees with that amaizing view seemed to be the best place. Your view certainly was the best. There is a lovely Boma for making fires at night. The log cabin certainly blends in with the surroundings and is completely off the grid. Excellent bird watching position. Saw the elusive parrots. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and spread out. The deck out side with the views was the best. Highly recommended.

Camphor Cabin is perfect for single travelers or couples needing an escape. Enjoy the view of the sunset from the balcony or cosy up by the fire. Take a stroll down to the waterfall or simply absorb being surrounded by nature. The choice is yours!
Camphor Cabin is built below a Camphor Tree and is a cosy open plan spacious escape. The cabin itself is privately tucked into a soft hillside and accessed via steps which lead down to the entrance door. The open plan aspect of the design is to allow a warm and relaxed space of comfort and cosiness. The bathroom has a bath to enjoy a hot soak by candle light on those chilly Hogsback evenings. Everything has been crafted and handmade to capture the element of reusing, upcycling and recycling. The cabin is designed around being efficient and convenient. Grey water is filtered and redirected back into the contours of the hillside. Separate bins within the cabin are provided to make rubbish disposal easy and hassle free.
Organic Origins is the last property on our road - after us you head into Forestry. Our neighbours north and west of us are the trees. Occasionally a timber truck or chainsaw may be heard but otherwise we are spoilt with a serene calmness and quiet. Due to the lack of light pollution the night sky is something to behold while you stand and gaze up to the milky way.
  • The perfect getaway. A very stylish eco-friendly cabin hidden away in a forest with the sounds of a waterfall make it the perfect retreat from a busy lifestyle. Jaco and Dayle's breakfast is a sure treat and dinner is a MUST.

    Matt2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay with Dayle & Jaco was the best we had on our trip. We saw some amazing birds (including the rare Cape Parrot) just from the comfort of our private deck. Jaco's food and Dayle's massages were amazing. We hope to be back one day!

    Ines2020-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our time staying at the perfectly designed eco cabin. Our hosts, warm and welcoming were so very kind to offer us a lovely breakfast. Fresh, home baked bread from Jaco and tangy, delicious jam and lemon curd from Dayle. The view from the deck is stunning with an array of bird life in the day and at night, you hear croaking frogs under bright stars. Thank you very much, we will definitely come back.

  • An absolutely gorgeous space. We were greeted by 4 monkeys swinging through the trees above us in the large and lush garden. Tucked in the corner of the garden, the cottage is clean and tidy and has everything you need. Gloria is an amazing host, super friendly and helpful and gave us the best tips for things to do nearby. We hope to visit again soon, and stay for even longer.

    Hannes2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • Unfortunately we were only 1 night in bramber cottage. Gloria welcomes us. The accommodation was super comfortable and well equipped. We had a barbecue. Everything was there, nothing was missing for the preparation. Also in the morning for breakfast. And the dishwasher was also very accommodating. The evening was quite fresh and we could make a nice fire in the oven in the oven. The garden is huge and beautiful. The cottage is just around the corner from the ecoshrine and the edge. If it is possible then you should try to stay longer than just one night. Many thanks, Gloria!

  • Gloria's place was fantastic. Plenty of space for the four of us who were staying there. The location was perfect, food and entertainment were walkable distances from the house. Gloria was very accommodating and communicative during our stay. We couldn't have had a better host.

The kitchen is kitted with more than enough cutlery and crockery and the dishwasher makes life very easy. The garden is full of vibrant colour and abundant bird life. A great place for a relaxing and revitalizing stay. Thank you Gloria.

  • A true gem. Off the beaten path, which is what makes this place so wonderful. Lovely family who are very accommodating. I very much enjoyed the activities such as bread making, Xhosa lessons and hiking in the area. Would 100% recommend.

  • Excellent Airbnb. Description is accurate: A cottage with a separate entrance immersed in nature. Perfect for a weekend getaway to explore Hogsback. Hosts are friendly, give local advice and are willing to assist with any questions. Nice deck to relax and enjoy the garden.

  • The cottage is beautiful, clean and situated perfectly. Angus is very helpful and gave valuable information about the area. Definitely make a stop at their restaurant for not just amazing food but a wonderful experience. We will definitely stay there again.

  • Location, location location :) Close to everything important. Stunning garden we had a picnic in :) Monkeys and Birds everywhere! Had an amazing stay with wonderful hosts! We dined at their restaurant at their house, brilliant food and even beter hosting! You will not be dissapointed :) (when packing, think camping though as there is no stove, pots or pans. There is however a communal braai available, or you can dine out or bring a portable gas stove and pan along. Our hosts did lend us a pan with a smile though :) ) Enjoy!

    Dylan2019-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • Gorgeous views, cozy and warm - even on the coldest nights. Beautiful hikes close by and within waking distance of the Edge.

  • We just loved our stay at Angus and Laurent - it felt like we were staying with old friends! We arrived at night. A heater was switched on so that our romantic cottage would be warm and cozy upon our arrival. We were also given the option to dine at the restaurant on the property - and wow, gourmet three course meals with lovely company! During our stay we also spent a lot of time on the stoep of our cottage and saw monkeys, turacos and other rare bird species. Laurent also gave us personalized maps and tips on beautiful hiking trails. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and actually felt sad to leave... We'll definitely be back!

The ideal base for a magical Hogsback stay, relax and enjoy the beautiful setting of this charming country cottage. Settle in by the cosy fireplace or woodburning stove and unwind on the verandah for stunning views of the famous 3 Hogs Mountains. Ticia's homely cottage is centrally situated down a little forest lane within walking distance of the village centre. Hogsback is an outdoor lover's Mecca with mountain biking, horse riding, abseiling, birding, waterfall hikes and more.
The enchanting garden and beautiful mountain views are what really make this country home magical. There's an abundance of bird and animal life including the rare Samanga monkeys in the garden which has a wild rambling feel with big old trees and beds of rose bushes. Fireflies are also often seen in the evenings. This unique home is cottagey and full of character with interesting knick-knacks and artworks. It is a welcoming, comfortable and clean space with a quaint rural feel to it. The bedroom has a double bed and 2 children can be accommodated in the lounge.
Hogsback has many wonderful activities on offer as well as great places to enjoy a meal or a drink. Our favourite spots are The Edge for a drink, a meal or to have a sundowner on the cliff edge overlooking the valley. Butterflies Bistro for great food (lovely vegetarian options), Away with the Fairies backpackers lookout point where you can enjoy the view from what feels like the edge of the world, and Hogsback Adventures for all your adrenalin and outdoor needs.
  • Ticias cottage is a gem I reccomend you visit. Great hiking trails nearby, beautiful garden to chill and an amazing fire place to kill time in front of. Highly reccomend it

  • This is a beautiful home to stay in in Hogsback over busy season if you are looking for peace and tranquility. We had all the benefits of being nearby the main road, away from new years crowds, with space to The garden is the highlight of this home: a place to laze under the trees and read your book, a shaded porch to eat breakfast, and plenty room to braai in the evening.

  • Had a great stay, even though we arrived late, alternatives were made for us to get the key. The house was clean and very homely. We had wood so it was easy for us to have a braai. We even had a fire place so we kept warm all the time.

  • A wonderfully relaxing weekend in this holiday home. The property and house itself are much bigger in real life than it looks in the pictures. Beautiful views of the mountains from the garden, everything you could need in the kitchen and lots of cosy spots to settle down with a book. Our 3 dogs loved exploring the garden and checking out the monkeys! Will definitely book here again. :-)

  • Hogwart`s Forest has two nice cottages to stay and we had a chance to try out them both. Both were wonderful, private and filled with all the details you will ever need. We loved the coziness in Slitherin and wildness in Gryffindor. Hike and her family treated us extremely well, they made our stay special with all the local tips, veggies from the garden and hiketrip to an ancient forest. We strongly recommend.

  • The Chetty’s are incredible hosts, with thoughtful touches and very passionate about the surrounding they live in. They have incredible knowledge on the area and made our stay most enjoyable. It was our second stay and won’t be the last. If you think you’d enjoy the tranquility and peace of a mystic forest, you won’t go wrong. The place is great to unwind and recharge.

  • The Lantern is a unique, romantic and special place. Loved the nights under the stars and the light bulps inside the bedroom making you feel like in a private fairy tale. In the middle of the woods, no wifif- lots of time to think, read and enjoys the surroundings that does fit into Hogsback like no other place. It is not that lonely, as looking on the pictures, as the caretakers and another house is directly beside the place, but we did not care at all. We were great looked after the caretakers and warmly welcome with a lot of tips! We would come back anytime!

  • The Lantern is absolutely incredible! We stayed here for two nights on our honeymoon trip of South Africa and it was without a doubt the standout accommodation of the trip! Such a unique, quirky, beautiful building- so fitting with Hogsback- an enchanting magical place! We had mist and some rain during our two days stay which we were told was the best weather to experience Hogsback at its best, we bought firewood for the wood burner and Braai and loved the cosy vibes in the woods! We were incredibly well looked after by the hosts, great communication, and wonderfully welcoming with a wealth of local tips! Thank you, we’d love to come back!

  • Meeting Maggie and staying with her was a real pleasure. The house is tucked away in the forest with a great view of her beautiful garden, peaceful and quiet. Most of all we loved the large veranda where we had breakfast in the warm sun each morning (after still very cold nights in November). Be aware, though, that the dirt roads in Hogsback are in very poor condition, with deep potholes even on the main street. But the beautiful nature surrounding the place is well worth a visit.

Blackwood Cottage is ideal for a solo adventurer or traveling couple. We are situated at the end of our road (being the last property before one heads into Forestry), but still close enough to the Village for exploring if one chooses to - although there is plenty to explore right on our doorstep. Enjoy the sights & sounds of our very own waterfall - or simply stoke the wood burning fire and take some time out. You choose!
Blackwood Cottage has been renovated into a bright yet cosy space. It stands adjacent to some large Blackwood trees but enjoys wonderful sunshine all year round. Much of the contents have been handmade or up-cycled giving it a completely unique atmosphere. The kitchenette has a two plate gas hob, refrigerator, toaster and all the necessary crockery/cutlery one should need. The bathroom is complete with basin, toilet and a spacious shower. Feel free to take yourself on one of the meandering pathways down to the river and the waterfall. Or enjoy a stroll through the orchard. Besides the main house, workshop and other private cabins/cottages, guests are free to explore the property and surrounds at their own leisure. As we have two very friendly and curious dogs, please don’t be surprised if they join you on a stroll!
Our property, Organic Origins, is the last property on our road - after us you head into Forestry. Our neighbours north and west of us are the trees. Occasionally a timber truck or chainsaw may be heard but otherwise we are spoilt with a serene calmness and quiet. Due to the lack of light pollution the night sky is something to behold while you stand and gaze up to the milky way.
  • An exquisite and rustic cabin for a perfect quiet getaway. Hosts are helpful and kind.

  • Blackwood cottage is a cozy and compact place to stay. The kitchenette is tiny, but well-organized and supplied with exactly the right dishes and tools. Dayle and Jaco have an excellent composting and recycling system -- we enjoyed talking with them about their methods for sustainable gardening and building on the property. Walking trails begin on the property to take you through the woods and rivers. A quiet and relaxing place to stay!

  • Our cottage was in a private spot amongst the trees and close to the birdlife and passing samango monkeys. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and had all we needed. The indoor fireplace was a treat in the rainy weather. Bubuhle is close to the centre of Hogsback and though a rough road, it's manageable with a small car. We even saw flocks of the Cape Parrot along the road.

  • Great private rondavel with indoor fireplace and amenities. Highly recommended.

    Kerri2019-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • Really lovely place close to nature ! We really enjoy our stay at that place. The access is a little bit tricky but can be done with a small car you just have to take it slow. Worth it!

Only 20 min. outside Hogsback, this eco-community backpackers has it all: great views, yummy food, cozy vibes and most of all, the exchange of cultural experiences makes it all a difference.
Situated in the homeland of the Xhosa people, this backpackers is peaceful, has stunning scenery and amazing hospitality. Sleep in traditional rondavels, eat free mielie pap for breakfast and enjoy the activities that are 100% owned and run by the people of Elundini. Elundini Backpackers is an eco-friendly place. We are 90% of the grid and depend mostly on renewable energy. Electricity is generated from our solar panels. Solar geysers and our hot water donkey are warming up our water. Rain water is harvested from the roof and stored in tanks. We do not have flushing toilets, but use compost toilets instead. Our sleeping rooms are in rondavels and are build with natural materials and have thatched roofs. In the main building we use natural finishes like wood, cane and stone, all found in the area. There is no electricity in the rooms, but we give you a solar light at night. There is a central plug point to charge phones, laptops, etc.
  • A simple and basic backpackers in a remote rural area. Had a great dinner at a villagers home.

  • As the name says it is a true african experience. We loved to sleep in our private rondavel. The bathroom on the outside of the rondavel was clean and tidy. The Elundini Backpackers / the village is surrounded by a stunning landscape and really peaceful. The meals were delicious and we loved to do the Xhosa bread baking in the village. Lieve and her family were very hospitable hosts. I can only recommend to stay here!

  • Beautiful setting and people. A rustic stay in a locals’ village surrounded by natural beauty.

    Marilyn2019-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • I loved my stay in Elundini. Lieve, her husband and the kids are lovely, the food is excellent. The box is beautiful with the good smell of straw roof. This trip allowed me to meet the villagers xhosas, to learn how to make bread over a wood fire and try the famous clicks of the Xhosa language, without much success but laughing a lot. This trip will test one of my best memories of South Africa. A big thank you to all.

    Lise2019-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing stay at Elundinis place. Beautiful landscapes in a traditional village, extrem friendly host.

Its' magical forests, waterfalls and mountains are perfect for hiking, sight seeing, bird watching and is a botanists' playground!
