There is a heater, not a fire-place. The cabin has a wooden deck and is in a peaceful and pretty garden setting. It is a few meters away from The Bluff walk, a 3km circular path with lovely views. The Edge restaurant is less than a 5 minute walk from the cabin.

Wow, we had a fantastic stay in Hogsback! The house was modern and beautifully designed, offering breathtaking views that made our mornings truly magical. The nearby hiking trails were amazing, providing us with endless opportunities to explore the stunning natural surroundings. Hayley was an exceptional host, always attentive and ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We can't wait to return to this little slice of paradise! Highly recommended!

This lovely cottage in the most amazingly beautiful and expansive garden was such a gem. We loved our time in Hogsback. Mornay and Janice were excellent hosts.

The spacious living area features wooden flooring and a large dining table with benches. A cozy seating arrangement is visible, along with a television and a fireplace. French doors provide access to an outdoor patio, allowing natural light to fill the room.

Lyndsay was very responsive and helpful - at short notice. The house was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately we did not have time to explore the area but the house was set in a magnificent garden. Very well located for a stop over on our journey from Gqeberha to Durban so as to cut down the length of the drive on the second day.

Woodside cottage was wonderful. Had all the amenities needed and more. Lovely fireplace. Comfortable beds. Great outside porch entertainment area with braai. Nicholas was responsive in his message and very accomodating. However this propertys showstopper are the incredible gardens. Very well maintained. You could spend a whole day in them. We did!

If rewind and relax is what you need, this is the place. Honest, comfortable and close to nature. Jessica is the perfect host, would not change a thing except pet fencing to be more secure so dogs don’t roam free. I can highly recommend Jessica’s place for the solo traveller, families or small team building groups.
