You will have your own entrance to the apartment. From the bedroom entrance to the TV room/kitchenette with the possibility of sleeping 2 people on the sofa bed. From the TV room, there is access to a private bathroom/toilet. There will be the opportunity to store things in a refrigerator with a small freezer. There is an electric kettle so you can make coffee and tea. In the kitchenette, there is 1 mobile hot plate and 2 small pots as well as 1 oven No frying in the room. Cold drinks can be purchased for DKK 5 and wine for DKK 35. Pay in cash or MobilePay.

WELCOME to a stay in our beautiful apartment, which is located in the amazing nature, right up the forest and with several lakes in the area - including a short distance to Østre Søbad, where you can swim all year round. There is also a sauna in connection with the sea bath. We live in the middle of Søhøjlandet and have a 10-minute drive to Silkeborg city center. There are 2 km to Pizzeria and shopping in Virklund. There is WiFi in the house, but no TV as we invite you to enjoy peace and good nature experiences. There is underfloor heating throughout the home.

The home is located right on the highway but has soundproofed windows. But noise from traffic is to be expected - especially on weekdays and at harvest time. I har indgang fra havesiden, egen stue med et lille fransk landkøkken, eget bad og toilet samt et soveværelse med en god 140 cm bred seng. I er meget velkomne til at bruge haven, hvor der er mulighed for både underholdning og afslapning. Der er flere hyggekroge med havemøbler som meget gerne må benyttes, lige som der er pejs og grill. Kommer I i Elbil, så er der mulighed for at lade hos os.

There is also a large living room with the possibility of "cinema" hygge with large canvas, a game of table football or just pure relaxation with a good book. The bathroom is on the ground floor. There is a nice sofa bed and good box mattresses.

The apartment has a bedroom with a double bed, kitchen/living room with a small sofa bed, dining area and all facilities for easy cooking, as well as a private bathroom with shower. There is a covered terrace and from the natural grounds/slope, access to the lake by stairs. Peaceful area in the middle of nature with short distance to the central and eastern Jutland sights.

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗
