Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Rutland

Our host’s mother met us at the door of the lovely manor house with a warm welcome. Inviting us in we felt taken back in time with the beautiful and interesting antiques, and rustic ceiling beams, inset stones around spacious curtained windows, cozy nooks and surprises to enjoy as she shared stories about all the history and love that has gone into making this place special! Our bedroom was lovely and spacious with a quaint window seat and an antique wardrobe. The bath had a claw foot tub (still with modern shower attachments). Another pleasant surprise was the fragrant rose and flower garden that she tends herself and the row of topiaries. There is a path to enjoy a shaded pond beside the green, peaceful pasture. We ended our stay with a lovely breakfast with the best toast ever, made on the stove griddle and served with fresh butter, marmalade, plus cereal and fruit, coffee and yogurt. She also sat and shared wonderful stories. Please visit -you’ll love it and her!

This was definitely one of our favourite Airbnb experiences due to Miranda and Hubbie being such welcoming great hosts and a beautiful room and house in great location. Everything was so well thought out and lovely breakfast too ❤️

Lovely room with great facilities. The owners were helpful and keep the property clean and well maintained. Very comfortable beds and lots of thoughtful touches. The continental breakfast was good and plentiful. Highly recommended

Really enjoyed our stay at The Stag, the rooms were spacious and warm (good for our November stay). Dinner was absolutely delicious! Rob and his staff were very welcoming of our large party of people. Fantastic for groups!

Had a lovely time at Lettuce Lodge. The setting is beautiful and we liked being able to walk to a pub. Access to Rutland Water is easy on foot or by bike. We hope to return!

I think I've said it before but its a home away from home. Maggie and Robert are very caring and kind.

This was our second stay at Jay's place and once again our experience was excellent. We had to leave early in the morning and we still received a wonderful breakfast and great hospitality. We highly recommend Carlton Corner B&B - great quality accommodation and a warm welcome.

Beautifully refurbished cottage - Sandra has great taste. Little snug with log burning stove for our use, all warm and welcoming on a wet evening. Lovely cooked breakfast.

Quintessential BnB experience in Maggie’s long term family manor home. She is keen to make you feel at home and happy to chat. Excellent English breakfast and easy check in. Good value for money.

This place is beautiful and Ruth is one of the nicest hosts I have ever come across. She makes you feel right at home and goes out of her way to make sure everything is perfect for you. Couldn’t rate her highly enough.

Louise was a very warm and welcoming host. From the get go, we felt completely at home; Louise is great company and ensured we had a wonderful stay, with great food in a comfortable environment.

Lovely place to stay in the heart of this quaint cottage box village. The hosts were very welcoming and our room was clean with what looked to be a recently installed ensuite. Good gin selection too :-)
