Light airy family home 🏡 in the town of Oakham just a 10 minute walk from the town center. Situated in the picturesque county of Rutland near Rutland Water. Our home is perfect for a stress free family holiday with beautiful decor, a welcome hamper 🧺, toys 🧸, game consoles 🎮, a separate play room, child friendly bedrooms and a fully enclosed garden. Once you get the little ones to sleep 🛏 you can set up the video baby monitors and relax in the hot tub watching Netflix with a glass of fizz 🥂.

Welcome to our Scandinavian cabin, set in a leafy glade where squirrels, hedgehogs, hares, wild ducks and pheasants roam safely. Explore the grounds & enjoy the peace. Private free parking on site. Continental breakfast included. There are two single beds in the cabin . There is space to pitch a 2 person tent next to the cabin at £20.00 per night. There are two fabulous pubs in the village; one with a Michelin "Bib Gourmand" Sorry, we are unsuitable for children. Just 2 miles from the A1.

Guests have use of an entire suite / a light, spacious bedroom in our annexe, just 10 m from a 16th century Elizabethan cottage in the very heart of Stamford. (High St. is barely 1 min walk away but the street is quiet, as it is an access only road) The annexe has a private entrance with 2 secure locks. Parking - free on site. Private en-suite bathroom & shower. Wifi, TV, microwave, kettle & light breakfast are provided (cereals/ fruit)& guests are welcome to use our cottage kitchen & laundry.

A comfortable living area is presented with two leather sofas and a fabric couch, all arranged around a wooden coffee table. Bright cushions and a colorful area rug add a touch of warmth. A framed floral artwork decorates the wall, with ambient lighting provided by a floor lamp.

Stamford centre is 20 mins walking distance. On the ground floor with its own compact shower room adjacent, my double bedroom also has kitchenette facilities including sink, 2 ring hob, combination microwave oven with grill, kettle and toaster, fridge and washing machine for longer stays. The bedroom can be accessed via an entrance at the side of this modern detached house located in a quiet side street. A good selection of continental breakfast items are provided for stays up to 27 nights.

Osprey Cottage

Osprey Cottage is a cosy, welcoming and newly refurbished space. There are 2 comfy double bedrooms and an excellent new shower room. A sitting room, kitchen/diner with new appliances, and a French door leading to a terrace, overlooking a long garden. The cottage has a new wood burning stove, TV and wifi. It is good base to explore the surrounding area, or have a quiet few days, walking and exploring Stamford and its Medievil character. Both pubs in the village are good with excellent food.

A unique dome structure is set against a golden field, with soft grasses swaying in the breeze. A chimney extends from the dome's peak, and the design features geometric windows that reflect the surrounding nature, enhancing the tranquil landscape.

One of our new additions for 2021, dome 5 is set on the same hillside as dome 3, benefiting from beautiful views down the site. The hot tub is nestled up high between the dome and the kitchen, giving privacy but not inturupting your views from the tub. Named after our neighbouring village, with an award winning pub, this dome is furnished in it’s own unique style, gorgeous turquoise colours, a rocking and a hanging chair. The kitchen, boasts our new ceramic egg for outdoor cooking.

The townhouse is located on a quiet residential one way street. Oakham has stunning historical architecture, i.e a castle, quaint independent shops, pubs and restaurants are moments from the door. A short walk from the railway station. It is ideal for couples or families. A short drive is Rutland Water and is the largest man made lake in Europe 26 miles circumference and hosts many outdoor pursuits such as walking, cycling and bird watching.
