The place was in great condition and Norman was very responsive. The location of "off the beaten path" and there are winding roads to get there. However, I would stay there again if the need arises!

This was the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. We were at the house for 2 weeks and felt right at home. The house has many amenities and a lot of extras. It was stocked with everything one could need ! The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. And extra bonus that it is dog friendly. The host is very responsive and we are very satisfied.

Jennifer baked a caramel apple coffee cake which she left along with a lot of coffee—above and beyond hospitality!

Great location, if you’re looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway. We choose this place so we were close to a bunch of hiking trails. There are so many positive comments that I could write but I probably won’t have enough space. My daughters and I had an amazing time here. Cottage in Disguise is clean, peaceful and just what we needed. Vicki is an amazing host! If you forget something Vicki didn’t, she had such the sweetest little touches throughout the house. Any toiletry you need it’s there. Forgot laundry soap, Vicki has your back. She even left us some wonderful homemade sourdough with homemade blackberry jam. There is also an amazing coffee bar, and the kitchen has everything you could need to cook a home cooked meal. I will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay here while visiting Abingdon and the surrounding area. The location was conveniently located as you can quickly access Bristol/Abingdon/Damascus. As others have pointed out, it is very close to Interstate 81 and there is a train nearby that you can hear as it passes through. We have young children so we always have a sound machine for sleeping so this really didn't bother us. Just a note for anyone who is a light sleeper. Overall. Angela's place had everything we needed with the bonus of seeing some cows, sheep and horses while we were there. Everything was well stocked and very clean. I felt very comfortable and at home during our stay. We did experience an issue with the power (out of Angela's control) but she was so helpful and responsive while it got resolved. I would definitely recommend her place and would stay again!

My wife and I had a great time at the cabin. Enjoyed watching the hummingbirds and wildlife around the river. Short trips to Bristol and Marion and local attractions. Would definitely stay again.

I loved this cabin. It’s so cute, well maintained, clean, and located perfectly for hiking at the Great Channels. At night, it was so peaceful and quiet. I used my AWD to drive the road to the cabin due to the light snow. Unfortunately it got very cold while I was there and I didn’t get to enjoy as much outside as I wanted. I would have loved to drink my coffee while sitting on the porch. He has it decorated so well. Danny was a very good host. Sent me several texts throughout my stay to make sure I was okay. I highly recommend staying here. I’ll definitely be back. Thank you Danny!!
