Amazing riverfront getaway near Mendota, VA. Sit on the large-covered deck and enjoy nature as it floats on by. Small cabin with full sized sleeper sofa available (bring your own linens) or sleep in a tent or in your hammock under the stars! 3 acres of green grass to run, romp, play, and relax. Please note: There is no power or running water on the property. You can bring a generator if you’d like to supply power to the cabin. Also, the only bathroom available is a composting outhouse.

Peaceful and cozy Abingdon get-away! Tiny house high up on a hill with gorgeous mountain and valley views. Only 10 minutes to downtown Abingdon, 10 minutes to the Emory and Henry campus and 30 minutes to Bristol VA/TN. Many hiking and biking trails in the area including the VA Creeper Trail, the Channels, the Mendota Trail and the Appalachian Trail. Enjoy all that historic Abingdon has to offer - fabulous restaurants and bars AND the Barter Theatre. Perfect for E&H visitors!

What a wonderful property! We came to town with our family and our cocker spaniel to hike the Channels and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to lay down our heads each night. Janice has thought of every single little detail and we wanted for nothing our entire stay. Situated in a quiet, upscale neighborhood, the condo was stylish and super comfortable and immaculately clean. Plus, it has such a beautiful view. I drank my morning coffee and experienced the sunrise from the living room couch (it was still quite cold outside or I would have been out on the deck). Renting an Airbnb that is pet friendly can sometimes be a gamble, but Janice has perfected the process. The guidelines are in place to keep everything clean and beautiful for guests to come and we found them to be perfectly reasonable and easy to follow. We can’t recommend The Oasis any more enthusiastically. It was a 5-star experience and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here if we are ever in these parts again.

Booked this spot for my 30th birthday/Easter Sunday… I can into town with my Daughter, my Mother and Aunt. We had just spent the weekend hiking up to the leconte lodge and back down and we were looking for somewhere peaceful to relax and connect with nature coming into my birthday and Easter morning, and waking up in this property was everything we could have asked for! The stars, the creek running, the nature sounds and the breeze flowing through the tent at night it was all bliss! So grateful to our host for being so communicative even if we did have a slight confusion lol! We absolutely cannot wait to come back and hike the channels the next time!! Cannot recommend enough!
