The house can sleep up to 10 people with a combination of beds, 1 pull out trundle & a sectional that pulls out to a full size bed. Air mattresses are available to sleep more people upon request. Welcome to our country getaway! Come and enjoy the peacefulness and quietness of rural living. We are 15 min from Rusk, TX where there’s Jim Hogg State Park and the Texas State Railroad. Henderson, TX is 30 minutes away. We are 35 minutes from the oldest town in Texas, Nacogdoches. We are 60 minutes from Tyler, TX Many people stay with us to hunt for deer and wild hogs on our land. There is a nearby fishing creek. We offer no-frills accommodations that are comfortable for your visit.

Enjoy all the comforts of home while visiting Kilgore in our well appointed and conveniently located home (with attached two car garage) which features a wood burning fireplace as well as a covered front porch and private rear patio dining area complete with gas grill. There are two full bathrooms and plenty of closet space. Nearby is Kilgore College, Synergy Park and Meadowbrook Park (3-4 minutes) each with shaded walking trails. Longview and LeTourneau University are just 15 minutes away.

Henderson is centrally located about 30-35 miles from Tyler, Longview, Carthage, Nacogdoches, Marshall.

🔥This cabin had a tree fall on it last May 2024 , we just finished the remodel in September of 2025. We made it bigger and better! Come take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway on Lake Murvaul. It can easily be just a couples cabin or it is big enough to sleep up to 6 people. You will get to enjoy the outdoors and watch all the birds in this peaceful quiet serene. You can also fish, enjoy the firepit or sit on the swings under the porch! The Sunrise and Sunsets are breathtaking!
