Our farmhouse is situated at the famous black forest western hiking trail and on a hill with views overlooking three countries. Our guest room offers a small kitchen unit with a fridge where our guests can prepare breakfast and cold meals. There is no water supply in the bedroom but in the spacious bathroom opposite. You can find restaurants from vegan, traditional to haute cusine within a less than a mile. There are buses to Basel, Lörrach and Kandern. By car it takes 20 minutes to Basel.

Nice and calm apartment!

Recently built guesthouse on the property of an old mill. We (two families) live in the main building. Both apartments have a seperate entrance and a terrace showing to the little creek which gives it a romantic touch. The place is 10 km from Basel which can be reached by bus or train in about 30 minutes. In the village nearby you´ll find a supermarket and other stores. Good starting point to explore the Black Forrest. The mixture of nature and civilisation makes it a special place!

I really enjoyed my stay! Claudia was so helpful and accomodating and the place was so clean and spacious, in a great location also. The ground floor access was particularly helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful stay at Ulrike's. The apartment was very well equipped, there was everything we needed to feel at home. Ulrike herself is an incredibly warm person, approachable and very willing to help you if needed. She was waiting for us in front of the house, despite the rain and the late hour, with an umbrella in her hand, and in the apartment she prepared a nice surprise for us. If we travel to Basel again, we will be happy to use Ulrike's offer again if it is available. Thank you 🙂
