We stayed at Sanjayas place for four nights. The family was super kind and helped us with local advice such as restaurants and must-sees close by. They arranged transport to the house and again when we left. Their hospitality was warm and made us feel welcome. We would definitly recommend this place to others.

This was my second stint at Osman’s airbnb and same as the first period - everything was great. It’s well-equipped for short or long (in my case) stays. He (and is his family) are also incredible hosts. I felt very safe in the area, cared for by the hosts, and really enjoyed my time here. Look forward to coming back!

Words cannot describe how perfect our stay was. Sharmini was a fantastic host, even before we got there. She was quick to answer my many questions about the villa, the local area and sharing details of companies that could collect our large party of 12 from the airport. Even calling them on my behalf when they didn't respond to my messages. The photos of the villa don't do it justice. The rooms are all a fantastic size, beds and pillows comfy and the bathrooms are wonderful. The location on the beach was just perfect. We were 3 families with 6 children between 2 and 8 and we all spent our time running from beach to pool l. Idilic. But the standout feature of the villa is the fabulous and dedicated staff. Dilu, Milan and Bandu. Dilu could not do enough for us and was on hand, yet discreet. Milan! Well his cooking is easily the best I've had in Sri Lanka. He cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner for all of us every night catering for us all! Our villa stay was perfect in every way!

Don is an exceptional host, responsive and available at any time, the house is a jewel, large, clean and equipped, private patio with a very pleasant mini pool in the hottest hours, very quiet location out of the chaos but a 5 10-minute walk from the two nearby beaches (the least crowded in the area, including jungle beach surf spots). With a scooter (which I highly recommend) you can reach all the midigama and ahanghama spots in a few minutes and in 10 minutes you can reach weligama. The other pool is shared with other BnBs and you have to go through the private garden of the house next door, but it is a great place to relax and the few times we used it there was no one. Absolutely recommended

Our stay at Duma beach house was amazing, mainly due to the helpful host. He was always responsive and kept the place spotless cleaning everything ( including the pool) multiple times a day! The breakfast was amazing and the options he had provided were excellent. Most of the time, we had the entire stretch of beach to ourselves. The place was so peaceful too.

We made a last-minute booking, but everything was very well organized. Podi communicated excellently and provided a clear and detailed description of the place upon our arrival. We especially loved the kitchen and its well-equipped setup, and we truly enjoyed the space as if it were our own home. Highly recommended for long stays and groups!

We had a great time staying at Fahim’s place. We settled in comfortably and Fahim was very foregoing when meeting us, and later the overall hospitality and friendliness was 10/10 . The apparent is superb and answered all our requirements. the area is very peaceful and countryside-like. The apartment is directly opposite the mosque but the late prayers during Ramadan didn’t bother us , plus Fahim generously compensated us for potential disturbances. The beach and restaurants/cafes are at walkable distance. Overall one of the best Airbnb experience we ever had. ❤️❤️❤️

Sea Crest Beach Villa enjoys a stunning beachfront location, right in front of one of the most beautiful beaches in Ambalangoda. The setting is truly breathtaking, offering direct access to the ocean and mesmerizing sunset views. We stayed for six nights and had an entire floor to ourselves, which was spacious and with a large balcony overlooking the ocean. Waking up to the sound of waves and enjoying the sunset from our private space was definitely a highlight of our stay.

Fantastic Villa, the pictures don’t do justice to the place - it’s better than what can be seen here. The area outside is peaceful and surrounded by lush greenery and the property grounds are perfectly landscaped with a beautiful swimming pool and outdoor seating area. The living room and kitchen are fantastic and all essentials are well stocked up. The bedrooms and bathrooms are also up to 5 star quality with clean soft linen. No problems on water and no problems on electricity. The staff doesn’t fully understand English but enough to get through and very helpful. Only draw back is that it is 15-20 mins away from Unawatanu / Galle so you need your own transportation.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Chaminda’s place! From the moment we arrived, he treated us like family—always going out of his way to help us with anything we needed. Whether it was finding the right cab, recommending great places to eat, or giving local tips, Chaminda was always there with thoughtful suggestions and a smile. The house itself is beautifully designed with a peaceful and relaxing vibe—perfect for unwinding. The atmosphere is warm, calm, and really well thought out. It was honestly one of the best stays we’ve had on Airbnb. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Sri Lanka. Must stay!

I stayed with 2 friends for a 6 day surf vacation. The house worked great for us. Very well located near the Sion surf point, near many restaurants and coffee shops, very specious and well equipped. DD was pleased and proactive and helped us feel at home. We will return there as soon as we can. Highly recommended.

This is a great villa just 10 minutes from Galle by car/scooter. It's located on a very small and quiet village street with very few neighbours. There's another house adjacent to the villa, so you won't be totally isolated, but for sure this is the right place to have a rest from crowded streets and beaches. We were surprised how good the villa is – it's newly built, very well designed and has been quality constructed. I can't but mention nice furniture and real flowers/decorations all over the house. This villa definitely has good vibes. It feels spacious and has big living area, big kitchen, bathrooms as well as decently sized bedrooms. Terrace is a great place to enjoy your morning and evening meals. You may often observe monkeys jumping on the trees, sometimes very close – it's a lot of fun to watch them. Luckily they are not spoiled and don't come too close to the house. The biggest downside for us was a poor bedrooms soundproof – the doors have false shades without any barrier, effectively you feel like you have open doors. I'm sure for some early birds this is a nice feature as you can enjoy nature sounds both in the evenings and mornings. We are late sleepers, so it was a bit difficult to get used to this feature – both birds and village people start their day around 5-6 am. The same false shades may let some spiders/geckos inside. There's no A/C, but it's not a deal breaker as we have kept many doors open during a day and there was a lot of fresh air. In the evening ceiling fans in the living area and master bedroom cool the air down. The villa is supported by Danuka's family, not just himself, and they are all very kind people, really trying to do everything to make your stay comfortable. The family lives just a few houses away, so they're always available. We enjoyed Danuka's mom breakfasts and also asked her for a traditional rice&curry dinner. Just few kilometers away are ancient buddhist temple and a hand weaving factory, which the family kindly showed us. Both were very interesting experiences. All in all, it's a great place to stay, we'll have a very warm memories about it.

Lovely hosts who were helpful throughout & greeted us, showing us around the property! Such a huge space with lots of useful amenities :) A very beautiful villa inside and outside in the private garden.. Was great that 3 of the bedrooms had A/C & the kitchen was fully equipped. Surrounding area was great and there was lots of points of interest within walking distance. Once again such lovely hosts and we will look forward to staying again as we felt right at home! The villa is just amazing! And so is the front/back yard. You get into the house, and it just fees right. The place is very clean, everything is literally new. A manager welcomed us. He was super friendly and spoke to the point. And after that nobody bothered us. Nobody came to check on us. We just asked how to take out the trash and did it on our own. This is what privacy is all about. The internet speed is 150+ Mbps which is really enough. Thanveer hooked me up with a local bike rental company, and they provided us with a few cool bikes for a reasonable price. Any question? The response would always be prompt and on point. This place is one of those rare cases when the actual reality exceeds your expectations! My family is super grateful for such a warm stay as we happened to be the very first guests!

The White House Lodge was amazing. Janaka and his family made us instantly feel welcome and at home. The apartment is quite spacious and you'll be provided with everything you need. the terrace is very beautiful as well. Everything in Madiha is in walkable distance. Janaka helped us with tuktuks and car rides as well.

Shiny villa

Dilhan and his family welcomed us warmly from the start. We were well looked after and had people to contact around the clock. The apartment is clean and as shown in the pictures. Unfortunately, the apartment is opposite a very noisy street, but after the first few days this didn't bother us anymore and we were able to sleep well at night in the comfortable beds with earplugs. The apartment also has no hot water, but that didn't bother us at all in 30 degree heat. There is a bus stop right outside the front door from which you can get directly to Ahangama and Mirissa for little money. There is no air conditioning, but there is a powerful fan in every room. We highly recommend the accommodation and really felt very comfortable during our two weeks of stay :)

We were blown away by the beauty and serenity of Villa Ovita in Talpe, Sri Lanka. But what truly made our stay special was the warm hospitality of our host, Damith. He was incredibly welcoming and kind, and it's clear that he's poured his heart and soul into creating this beautiful oasis. His hard work has paid off, and we felt so grateful to have been able to experience it. We spent our last few days in Sri Lanka at Villa Ovita, and it was the perfect way to unwind and relax.
