My group and I needed a getaway, and this stay was exactly that. It offered a somewhat secluded feel while still being conveniently located—just 7 to 10 minutes from businesses and near the university—making it a perfect fit for us. The home was nice, and overall, we had a great stay. I have to commend the host for their responsiveness; there were a few minor issues, but they addressed them promptly and to the best of their ability. Communication was excellent, and they made a great effort to ensure my group and I enjoyed our time. I would definitely book with them again. Just a heads-up: the last 5 minutes of the drive to the house are on unfinished roads due to ongoing development in the area, so be prepared for that.

We were in Kigali for work and this Airbnb was a great home base for us. We didn't spend a ton of time there because of our work but it was a peaceful retreat each evening. The house and gardens are beautiful and look just like the photos. There was reliable electricity and hot water. We also worked with Keren, the property manager, to arrange for the driver, Maurice, to take us to/from our work location each day and to take us around town and to the airport on our last day. We also arranged to have someone cook breakfast each day. The price was reasonable and the food was excellent! Gerard also was so proactive in cleaning and keeping the house tidy, in addition to washing clothes and cleaning shoes, etc. It should be noted, the house is not in a particularly central location but, for us, this was fine. Overall, we had a great experience!
