(North) The boats can be rented from the neighbors and the beautiful bridges can be found only a 6-minute walk away. This is where Giethoorn originated, and the oldest houses along the path are located here. No crowds of tourists. (They’re in Giethoorn Zuid.) Here, you can still enjoy the wonderful tranquility and the beauty of the old village of Giethoorn. Unfortunately not suitable for infants/children from 0 to 8.

The Front House of our national monumental farmhouse has been renovated into a full luxury suite with its own amenities. The original details, such as the high ceilings, the bedstee walls and even an original bedstee you can sleep in, have been preserved. No less than 65m2 with its own kitchen, spacious living room and separate bedroom with freestanding bath. Toilet and spacious walk-in shower. With the option to use the hot tub, sauna and outdoor shower at an additional cost, you can relax wonderfully.

Van harte welkom! ‘Boshuis Dwingelderveld’ is een gezellig en comfortabel vakantiehuis op een prachtige vrij gelegen plek in Drenthe. Een ideale plaats om vakantie door te brengen of een heerlijke (mid)week/weekend te ontspannen. This very spacious, robust "farmhouse" is partly due to its thick wooden beams, a modern version of the stately Oldambsterboerderijen known from the Groninger landscape.
