Family-friendly vacation rentals in Ruaka

Christine was very good in communicating. The house was very clean and spacious. Christine was flexible in having us check in late at night. The property is easy to access and very near the road. I would recommend this house to any guest looking for a house which can accommodate many guests.

Since the guest who lives upstairs is still walking around at three or four in the morning, it is very noisy and makes it difficult to sleep well, and the host contact phone for us to change a room, the staff at the front desk was very kind to help us and take us to check the other room first, thank you very much

Secure location. Walking distance to mall with grocery store, shopping, and restaurants. Nice pool. Nice landscaping. Giant kitchen. Friendly environment. Ample parking.

I said That it was better than Mt expectations but as I've stayed with George and Ester lots of times I know to expect a great stay. But the form isn't designed for such comments. I love staying with George and Ester they are lovely people and are so helpful and friendly. They offer great value for money.

The apartment is lovely and looks just like the pictures. It has a cozy, lived-in feel, so you’ll notice some aging in the furniture and appliances, but that didn’t take away from the experience. The location is quiet and convenient, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Leila is an excellent host—responsive and easy to communicate with, which made my stay comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again!

We enjoyed our extended stay at Shelmith’s place. We were a couple with a 2-year old and a dog. Very central location and a quiet compound. There were a few broken items at the house but Shelmith had them repaired or replaced very quickly. Shows she cares a lot about her guests! Lovely guards and personnel at the compound as well that made our stay even more enjoyable.

The Host was very hospitable and understanding based on our last minute booking and requirements. The space was great for our group of 6, far better than expected. Felt like we had left the hustle of Nairobi. Very clean house with good attention to detail. Highly recommended for groups.

Great accommodation, I highly recommend it. We stayed there for a month before finding a house for our family. Plus points: Angelina's responsiveness and kindness, always looking after everything, the location (practical, green and safe), the size of the house and its interior layout, the equipment, the fact that someone comes to clean every three days.

An amazing space with lots of greenery and outdoor space, hospitable staff members, close proximity to the giraffe Center. I would highly recommend this space for a couple of single traveller.

The apartment is in a very nice and safe neighborhood in Nairobi, close to the UN offices and to public transport. It was clean and comfortable. It's a Walking distance to the supermarket and restaurants. Maggie is very friendly, communicated in a timely manner and was very helpful with our requests. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely stay here again.

Great stay, a cute cottage on a pond, visited by loads of beautiful birds. A very peaceful spot in busy Nairobi.

Would really recommend Edith’s place, had a 3+ weeks great stay here! Edith is a hospitable superhost and efficient to communicate to via the App and in person as well. Edith’s place was as advertised; if you are not looking for elegance or fanciness, this place is for you. It is cozy, clean, relaxing, safe and easily accessible for a great practical stay in Nairobi. It is located in a safe and secure gated neighborhood. Far enough from the busyness and chaos of downtown Nairobi but close enough to get to downtown and around town by car ( found Uber/Bolt ridesharing services to be quite accessible and convenient although public transport is also available). Grocery shopping and good restaurants are within reach ( walkable distances or short car rides). Would highly recommend checking this place out and would be in my priority list next time.

Nice place safe place

I stayed for 3 nights, I felt at home. With an a crawling infant, the space is what I needed for him to move around. The house also has toys a kid can play with. Rooms are spacious and in a safe neighborhood. Easy access to malls, restaurants and other part of the city. I highly recommend.

Ruth and Nigel were very accommodating of our small family. We had lots of privacy and they were very willing to share their garden and pool with us. This secluded haven in the Karen suburbs is a very peaceful and leafy respite to return to if one has a day of business in Nairobi or for the foreign tourist a wonderful, homely place to stop over and glimpse the high quality lifestyle of Karen, Nairobi. The dogs are super friendly and enjoyed our toddlers attention. The large bath was a big plus for our young children.

The location was perfect for me and the unit is in a very secure community. Overall, my stay was good. The place wasn't dirty, but it wasn't super clean either. The main sliding glass door also didn't lock so the unit was never fully secured, but I was able to lock my belongings in the bedroom.

Great place great art beautiful grounds. But the highlight is the host Derida who always makes the stay wonderful. She is a great cook and accommodated all our needs.

I spent 5 days at Yvonne's place. The location was great for those who want to experience Nairobi culture and night life! I felt very safe as the building was under security. I was also very surprised by the amazing swimming pool and gym at the rooftop! The apartment was clean and comfortable. Yvonne was very communicative. I would recommend the place, and I might come back!

An excellent stay with John in a spacious, comfortable and very functional flat in the Kileleshwa district, a 10-minute drive from Westlands. John was very accommodating, helpful, available and communication was very fluid. The beds are comfortable, the apartment has two showers and is close to many shops and a café-bar-restaurant. My family and I had a great experience at the apartment over looking Garden city mall and Thika Hwy. The cleanliness went above and beyond. The security was good and the convenience of having a mall around was the best. The couches were new and very comfy. Kitchen had all the stuff necessary to make a meal 🥘. How could I forget! The hot water showers beat every thing else.....The only issue was some unexpected water shortages but that was resolved as soon as we reported it. Our host manager Betty went above and beyond to make our stay great. She was available at all times. We arrived very late at night but we were still able to check in with no hustles. The kids had a blast and will definitely return to this Apartment the next time we visit. Thank you Chandaria.
