Acuario Resort represents everthing that is good about Palawan. It is run by a young scrappy entrepreneur whose capacity to network with local transport and food sources means that his guests every reasonable wish can be fulfilled. In our case we the freshest fished and vegetables served. Their cook/chef Jomari is a genius. All our meals were spectacular! Through Elto's contact with the tour boat KC Express we had Twin Reefs, New Poray Reef and Boayan Reef all to ourselves for hours. These reefs surpass by a mile those in El Nido, Coron and Camiguin! We will visit again. We know that Acuario is almost always fully booked. Perhaps by then Acuario will have expanded.

I really loved my stay here! It’s located in a quiet fisherman’s village, surrounded by locals – such a peaceful vibe. The room had everything I needed, even a TV (first time I had one in the Philippines!). Everything was clean and cozy. Tony, the host, was super kind, always around to help and gave me great tips – he even organized an island-hopping tour for me. His team was also super sweet and helpful. Breakfast was included and tasty. Tip: rent a scooter from Tony to explore the area – amazing beaches are 10–60 mins away (not toward Port Barton though, roads aren’t great). In San Vicente Town, check out Mango Bar – the Chicken Sisig is a must! 100% recommended if you want a local, quiet base with the freedom to explore

Very happy stay at Jungle bar. It was frankly exotic with a breathtaking view. Lush greenery, nature. White beach is a 15-minute walk away. Port Barton is 10 15 minutes away by boat from the beach. The place is certainly served by chaotic access but junior our young tuktuk driver has insured well. The cabins are simple but great. Nothing is closed but we are in total confidence. We fall asleep with the funny noises of the gekkos perches on the roof of the huts. The restaurant is good too. Note a charming, smiling, and super helpful staff. All these young women are adorable... Salamat... And very nice conversation with the owner of the place on the day of departure... Character with a beautiful philosophy of life.
