Its thick brick walls and quiet and pretty disposition, defy its former role as a working yard where timber yachts were crafted and repaired, drawn up inside at high tide. The annex was perfect for us whilst attending a wedding in Mersey. Hannah was very helpful with all our needs. She even offered us a lift to where the rest of the wedding party was staying and offered us the use of her iron as our clothes were creased from the journey. Amazing house and would definitely recommend xx thank you Hannah xx

Ann is a great host, very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and it's really quiet. I had a good rest, which I needed. Location is good too, it's about 15 mins walk to the centre of Colchester. 100% recommended.
