Cabin vacation rentals in Rowan County

I had a wonderful experience staying at this Airbnb! The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive from the moment I booked. The space was exactly as described — clean, comfortable, and well-decorated. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. Finding a place is slightly troublesome but we had fun driving around the neighborhood. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would definitely book again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy and convenient place to stay!

This cabin is absolutely perfect for anyone looking to just get away and relax. It’s very cozy and clean. Not too far from the red river gorge and cave run lake! I highly recommend this place to anybody! The host was very responsive and the cabin was just as the pictures showed!

Neat little cabin with huge fenced in yard surrounded by mountains and woods. Very nice appliances in the kitchen especially the refrigerator. We ate most of our meals at the cabin. The place caters to dogs with bowls and bedding and dog food and treats! Gravel road leading to the cabin was not difficult to travel despite the rain. There are some loose dogs in the area but we had no problems even walking our dogs on the gravel road. A neighbor pointed out some trails through the woods which we are saving for our next trip. The shower door came off the rail but was quickly put back by Krystin's team.

Both Airbnb hosts, Lisa & Dennis, were very responsive to any/all questions we had. Home amenities were as advertised. We didn't partake in the treats our hosts left for us: a basket of S'Mores fixings, individual snacks and bottled water (which we drank), the personal touch was much appreciated. Our group of 4 (2 male fishing partners & a husband-wife team) found the bedroom arrangement a little curious, but we worked it out just fine. There is a small bedroom (double bed?) INSIDE the master suite (king size bed) with a bathroom - which is very nice. Bedroom #3 is upstairs (Queen size bed). So hubby & I took the upstairs quarters. I had a yoga spot up there as well as a balcony. The back deck is where we spent our evenings & used the pellet grill to cook dinner. Being unaware how long the grill (super nice - electric) required to heat up to temp, you'll start it sooner than you would a charcoal grill. Neighbor dogs were friendly & hung out with us on the front porch. Yes we'll return

We really enjoyed our stay! It was very clean and private with a relaxing atmosphere. The master bath and outdoor area is amazing! We grilled out while there. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. When I did have a question Linda and Breck responded quickly and were helpful. Would love to stay again!!

This cabin is a true gem! My fiance caught multiple large bass in the pond. The secluded location provided the perfect amount of peace and quiet. A huge storm came through during our stay and the sound of the rain on the tin roof was like something out of a movie! We felt right at home, you can tell by all of the small details in decor and cleanliness that this cabin is well loved. Brittany was so kind and responsive, she even offered us an early check in! We will definitely be planning another trip to this perfect cabin in the future!

Seclusion Cabin was incredible. It checks all the boxes we look for in a Red River Gorge rental: cozy and comfortable amenities, unique and thoughtful touches like the tree house and koi pond, a perfect location near our favorite trailheads—and most importantly, true seclusion in the forest, just as the name promises. Derek and Sandy were amazing hosts: responsive when needed but respectful of our space, which let us fully unplug and unwind. We’re already planning our next trip back to this amazing spot!

Visited our son at Morehead State University. Spent a day hiking around Cave Run Lake and one just hanging out and playing games at the cabin and grilling. Perfect location and room to sleep the entire family. We had a wonderful stay.

The Sunrise cabin was a great stay on a beautiful ranch. The cabin was cozy and just what we needed for our getaway. Elizabeth went out of her way to provide candles for us during a brief power outage due to a storm. We enjoyed the quiet sounds of nature during our stay.

Stayed in Cabin 3 for a week in October 24. The cabins and property are extremely clean and in excellent condition. Lawn is maintained nicely. There is a fire ring with chairs waiting for you! Paved road and designated parking space / area. Cabin looks exactly like it does in all of the pictures. There are no stairs / steps to Cabin 3 which makes it really nice if you have mobility issues. Squirrells and birds abound in the peaceful quiet area. It is at the beginning of a dead end street so there isn't much traffic or noise. There isn't a dresser or closet here nor any storage / counter space in the bathroom - so just be aware of that. Futon was comfortable to sleep on and so was the bed. Elliotts Pizza (turn right onto 801 and then right on 60 at the roundabout and it's on your left} is close, priced right and delicious! Kitchen was well equipped with the basics. Cabin is competitively priced for the area. Owners are helpful and easy to communicate with.

We enjoyed several hikes that were a short walk from our cabin. There are some beautiful waterfalls and watering holes to explore! The photos don’t do this place justice — the 300+ acre farm is so serene!

WOW!!! If you want beautiful scenery and peace and quiet this is for you! I walked the road and a couple trails. Found 6 waterfalls! Peaceful creek! Stars galore! Bullfrog, owls and whippoorwills at night! Highly recommend! (Bathroom is shared). Even had cell service!Truly amazing! Follow her directions as it’s off the beaten path. Found it even at midnight the first time!!!

Gorgeous land. These hosts maintain their property exceptionally well. The property was more developed than the listing led us to believe--they seem to be actively working on it. The paths are clear and beautiful, the cabins cozy and welcoming, with a sheltered community area near the bath house with additional amenities, gorgeous sunset views, and a very private, serene setting. The cabins are nicely furnished and welcoming, if yet accessible to bugs. We weren't aware it was a multi-cabin/campsite/RV site property, but there was plenty of privacy and the overall treatment was charming and thoughtful. We were very impressed with our stay.

We had a great stay. Place had everything you needed just in case you forgot anything. Loved the board games and pool table. We would definitely stay again!

My wife and I along with our fur baby just spent four nights at this wonderful cabin tucked away down a quiet winding road. The cabin had all the amenities you would expect and more. It was clean and everything was labeled and easy to find. The decor was charming with a rustic with a modern feel. We enjoyed sitting on the covered deck porch hearing the babbling creek and seeing the humming birds. The host was friendly and easy to contact. We really hated to leave and hope to come back again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Cedar Shack! The description and amenities were spot on. It was the perfect size and fit for what we needed. Stephanie was very responsive to let us know there was a power source for our boat before booking. Great parking for any fisherman traveling to Cave Run Lake. Nice country feel. We would definitely book again.

Perfect for everyone. Only a few short miles from town if you forgot something. Very close to tons of outdoor activities. Exceptional host. Definitely would recommend to anyone

I loved every thing about my stay. Elizabeth and Mark were great hosts, I really enjoyed my own space and peace for three weeks and I got to feed ducks at the pond in my backyard. I highly recommend!
