Beautiful little place, perfect for a couple. It's thoughtfully decorated, well put together, very cozy, and had everything we needed. Nice back deck, and coffee/ice cream/brewery in walking distance. Wonderful spot, we enjoyed our entire stay. But the biggest perk is the location. I've been coming to RRG for over 15 years and you will not find a better Airbnb location if you want all the main hikes to be as close as they can be. So the location is amazing, but the whole place is great too! Highly recommend.

A very peaceful place with a beautiful view. David was very responsive, quick to attend any questions and issues we had while we were there. He provided recommendations and went above and beyond helping me on my search for an uncommon tres leches cake. We felt right at home and had everything we needed!

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The location was private & just as described. The cottage was so comfortable & very well appointed! We were looking for a weekend of rest & peacefulness & that's exactly what we got. We would definitely recommend & hope to return!

My friends and I had a great time at this airbnb. We took a nature walk, made delicious meals, and enjoyed the hot tub and pool.

Review for The Muir Valley Overlook House, Campton, KY I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Muir Valley Overlook house, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! Nestled in a beautifully serene setting, this spacious and impeccably clean house provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. One of the highlights of my stay was the fabulous hot tub, which was nothing short of a blissful retreat after a day of hiking adventures in the breathtaking surroundings. There’s something incredibly relaxing about soaking in a hot tub under the stars, and this one did not disappoint. The expansive living space was perfect for unwinding and enjoying some downtime. An unexpected bonus was the selection of video games, which added an extra layer of fun to our evenings. Whether you’re traveling with family or friends, this house is equipped to keep everyone entertained. Thank you Breck and Linda! 🙂

Margo was so great at communicating with me when I had questions. Allowed us to check in a little early since we drove over 3 hours. Home was as described and more. Had hiking trail print outs and a spiral with all the trails info which helped tremendously. She provided suggestions for restaurants nearby. The jacuzzi was a great way to end full days of hiking. Everything we needed was provided in each area of the house. We loved the outdoor area - explored the creek beside the property each day just to listen to the water flowing as well as the songbirds. Totally recommend Margo’s place - it was truly a peaceful retreat

The place is adorable, and in walking distance of the local library and a couple restaurants. The place feels bigger than the pictures make it seem. There is train tracks just a few streets away, so you do get that noise, but I learned to tune it out pretty quickly. The stairs to the basement / laundry area are steep, but it has a railing. Overall, a great place to stay.

This was a great place to stay and a very good location to all the activities at Red River Gorge (only like a 15 min drive)! Of course some of the hiking trailheads are further away any resturaunt, store, etc... you can easily get to within 15 mins from the Airbnb. The place was very clean, and the bed was super comfortable! Sarah was a great host and was very responsive to any questions we had. Her list of recommendations was also super helpful and all the resturaunts that we got to try were amazing! We will definitely be booking here again if we return to the Gorge!

What an adorable and cozy apartment. Ellen was kind enough to accommodate a very late check-in and even left lights on so we didn’t have to enter a dark apartment. That was very much appreciated. Apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Super comfortable beds, hot water and good water pressure, safe neighborhood. My daughter and I took a walk around the area and downtown and felt very safe. Her gardens make it feel like you are in this little oasis away from everything. Very peaceful and relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Ellen’s place.

Beautiful apartment! Lovely neighborhood. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. Kangaroo Ridge Farms downstairs has wonderful fruity energy drinks, great coffees, and adorable arts & crafts.

There are three things I am looking for when I choose a place to stay on vacation and this place checked every box! 1. LOCATION! This place is in a perfect location. It is close to a highway, but I never heard any traffic noise. What I absolutely loved about the location is that we were not more than 20-30 minutes from any hikes wanted to do or restaurants we wanted to visit, but it still feels quiet and set apart. Also loved the coffee/ice cream shop 1 minute down the road. Visited it every day! 2. Easy parking - Several years back I rented a place that was nearly impossible to get to so this was important to me. There are no steep hills or narrow roads in or out of the apartment. Parking is right by the front door. Super easy in and super easy out. Perfect. 3. As described - I have also been burned in the past by finding a place much different than pictured. Not here. This was exactly as expected if not better. I would 100% rent again. Hoping to return someday with my sister!

A comfortable room, very clean. A great base for exploring old town Maysville and surround Ky area. Nice to have a porch to relax on! Claire very responsive. Thanks for great stay! Hope to be back soon

The perfect private getaway. About 30 minutes away to lots of hiking trails in red river and a quick drive to the store. Suzanne was super helpful and responsive. Gave us many things to do/see!

Ms Kaye was the sweetest host, from meeting us out at the pool to the sweet bottle of wine. Her Airbnb was more than we expected and was super cozy too. We enjoyed listening to the rain come down from our own private covered porch as well. Our only regret was forgetting to bring/buy steak on this trip so we could have taken advantage of the covered grill area.
