Characteristic hut located in a high mountain pasture (7 huts)at 1000 meters above sea level. Reachable only on foot in 40 minutes from the village of Miazzina (VB) by an easy path.Allows to enjoy the wild atmosphere of the nearby Val Grande Park and offers an outstanding view over Lake Maggiore.The hut is equipped with a wood boiler providing hot water and with a solar panel producing electricity for lighting and charging electronic devices. In July and August we prefer to have 3 guest or more.

Gaze over stunning 180-degree views of islands on Lago Maggiore from the expansive, floor-to-ceiling windows of this lovely, 230-year-old rustic stone villa. Antique furnishings perfectly complement the historic architecture. The house is on 3 floors so a fair bit of walking up and down stairs is required. The main bedroom is on the upper floor and the 2nd bedroom (two single beds) and bathroom on the lowest floor. Ideal for couples and families but not for the elderly or groups of 4 adults.

The house, renovated in 2023, is a short distance from the center of Mergozzo and the lake. On two floors, the ground floor offers a large and bright living room with an open kitchen and a bathroom. The wooden staircase leads to the upper floor, where there are the two bedrooms, one of which is a double with lake view and balcony, the other with a full-size bed, i.e. 120cm and independent entrance on the back. Outside is a large garden area surrounded by the surrounding woods.
