The area has fantastic views of the Lyng Alps, with opportunities to see the northern lights in winter and the midnight sun in summer. There are good hiking opportunities in the immediate area. Popular mountains for randonees. From the property you can go directly up to Storhaugen. Sorbmegáisá is also nearby. Short distance to other mountains. Wood fired Sauna and grill hut. Bicycles, snowshoes. Beds are fully made.

Turløyper rett utenfor døra. Leiligheten er i vertens bolig, og befinner seg på 1. etasje. Verten bor selv i øveretasjen. Skiers and hikers! Hello, my name is Per. 70 km east of Tromsoe I have a cottage in the Lyngen Alps area. An old part is from 1912-1914 with an extension from 2012-2013. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, a good bathroom, a fairly big living room, a fireplace and a nice view from the veranda towards the Lyngenfjord. It`s perfect for maximum 6 adults or a family with older children. The cottage is situated 2.2 km north of the community centre Lyngseidet towards the village of Koppangen.

Gamtunet - idyllic cabin - spectacular location

Gamtunet is a charming old log house with a top modern architectural extension including all commodities. The view is spectacular encompassing the Lyngen landscape from the view to the Ulsfjord to the alpine peaks of Trollvasstind, Sofiatind and the Jiehkkevárri massif. We still have lots of snow in the mountains so it looks like skiing will be good all through May at least.
