Family-friendly vacation rentals in Rottal-Inn

The Kostnerhof is a very nicely renovated farmhouse. We used the outdoor oven, sauna, swimming pond and bathing barrel extensively. The rooms and kitchen are beautifully furnished. The view is fabulous. The hosts are very friendly and uncomplicated. We had a wonderful, relaxing week.

Stunning apartment that was even more amazing than the photos! The only problem was that our stay was too brief to enjoy the flat!

We felt very comfortable right from the start. The facility is so lovingly designed and thought out - hot tub, sauna, barbecue hut - there is nothing left to be desired. Our little son (20 months) was also thought of (e.g. changing mat, wet wipes, shampoo, etc.) really very very attentive and hospitable owners. We would definitely come back!

Reiko is incredibly service minded and has a great home for 4 people. Nothing was missing, and Reiko was quick to respond if we asked anything. The only thing we missed was air conditioning in one of the rooms when it got incredibly hot. We would definitely recommend his place to others.

Christine was incredibly welcoming, and provided helpful advice for the local area, including assisting us to find a late dinner. The place was very comfortable, we were 3 people (2 in the bedroom, 1 on the fold out couch). It was a perfect place to come back to each day after exploring the area. Staying here felt like the authentic Bavaria I had read about, I wish we could have stayed longer.

A very cosy place on two levels with lovely views and very well equipped with everything you might need during an apartment stay. I felt very much at home. The very friendly owners live in the same property so communication is easy. The place is a great starting point for lots of beautiful walks around the Schliersee area and beyond.

Bernhard was a very good and friendly host. The self-check-in worked smoothly. Bernhard was absolutely reliable for questions. The apartment exceeded our expectations, especially considering the size and is a great starting point for excursions towards Salzburg and the surrounding area. For visitors with smaller children, it is worth noting that the sleeping area is designed as a gallery. This can be seen from the photos, but we were kind of surprised - but definitely positive in our case. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked for our needs, we were also very pleased about the Nespresso coffee machine and corresponding capsules (guest gift). The accommodation was a good base for our wonderful holiday.

We had a great weekend at Villa Traunseeblick. Herta, our host, graciously accepted our last minute booking. The apartment was very clean, well equipped with everything you needed and had an amazing outdoor space to relax and enjoy views of the lake. It was very comfortable and just what we needed. The apartment is within walking distance to trails, the lake, town and the cable car. We had a wonderful time! Thanks Herta

The elevator was helpful for our luggage! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gabi’s place. The spacious apartment was well-equipped and we appreciated Gabi’s responsiveness and helpful recommendations. The apartment was exactly as described, and the multiple balconies were nice for enjoying the outdoors at any time of day. We found the beds to be on the firmer side, in case that is important to you.

This was one of the best Airbnb experiences we had so far, without doubt. We were a group of 3. The apartment is located in a calm and pristine setting, surrounded by mountains and meadows, providing a visual treat. Gisele as a host also made us feel home and provided a lot of tips to make the best use of our time there. The apartment is squeaky clean, with a lot of plants and nice decor. The backyard with the mountain view and deers coming to the fence, is also a wonderful addition. Over three days we visited Salzburg, Hallstatt and St. Bartholomew’s church in Königsee, which are all just above 60 minutes drive from the place. We also spent a day walking around the small village of Lichtenberg, which was also an unforgettable experience itself. We hope to be able to visit again in one of the summers, where one could also swim in one of the many lakes surrounding the area. Overall, the stay is worth every penny and we would gladly recommend it.

Nice and good communication. The house was nice big, very clean and well decorated. We felt very comfortable, especially the children enjoyed it very much thanks to swings, trampoline and plenty of toys.

This AirB&B is one of the best I have stayed in. Very clean, beautifully furnished and a spectacular garden. We enjoyed our breakfast outside, had a good egg hunt (easter) and the dog loved being outside too. Next time in Salzburg, this will be our preferred address. Highly recommended.

We chose the place to celebrate our daughter's 2nd birthday. We already know the beautiful area thanks to our previous stays near Kehlheim/Riedenburg. So we were looking for a child-friendly accommodation and Marion's apartment was exactly that. Our daughter was delighted with the swings and the lovingly equipped children's play corner with the small children's table. In the apartment, there was everything vacationers could need, food supplies included. The view of the church from the window is beautiful. Unfortunately, we were too short to explore the fairytale garden. So we may come again. Thank you for the pleasant stay!

It was very comfortable and easy to walk to town and the ferry. We would definitely stay here again if in the area!

Beautiful corner, close to Salzburg, Krispl is charming, quiet. Toni is adorable, and very homey.

The apartment was large and spacious, the amenities a bit outdated, but fully functional. Bed linen & towels were provided, a dishwasher is also provided (was stated differently) The pool area as well as the sauna are great!!! The landlord is very warm and always has a nice word left :) We will definitely be back

Gregor’s farm flat was the perfect way to end our Bavarian adventures. The location felt secluded even though it was close to malls and restaurant (I highly recommend Luca’s pizza nearby). It was an easy drive into Salzburg and simple to find from the highway. The beds were cozy and the space was well-appointed. But our favorite feature by far was the generous offer to go and see the animals in the barn and feed/pet them. It was perfect for lazy mornings. Our teenager even woke up early to go see the horses, chickens, rabbits, and pigs! You won’t regret a stay at Gregor’s place.

We really felt at home in this beautiful apartment! The view was simply breathtaking and the spacious rooms offered more than enough space to relax and unwind. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, they welcomed us with open arms and supported us throughout our stay with advice and assistance. The apartment was very clean and well equipped, we lacked nothing. We sat on the balcony every morning and enjoyed the magnificent views while having our breakfast.
