Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Rotherham District

Our second year staying here for our 'hiking reunion', perfectly placed to walk out the door and explore the surrounding peaks, this year we hit the Stanage Edge hike. Many thanks!

Me and my wife Jude loved this place. Very scenic and peaceful yet within good distance to Leeds centre for when we wanted to do something more active. Where do I start there is just so many positive things. I stayed here the night before my wedding with my sister and bridesmaids it was just beautiful in fact stunning. I was amazing. I asked for an early check in as I wanted to take some wedding things across, not only did Claire accommodate me she left a card chocolates and flowers, ironically from the same florist as my wedding flowers. I cried at the thoughtfulness. During the evening Claire then left homemade cakes at the door they were delicious btw. From myself and my wedding party you just blow us away from home he stunning cottage to the views and you being the most amazing kind host. Thank you.

This way our second visit here to this property (with family and two dogs first time, and with friends and one dog this time), and The Lodge offers comfortable accommodation for up to 10 people. Usefully, there is also driveway parking for our three vehicles. Teresa is responsive to queries and provides timely information, and booking here supports a charitable cause too , which is commendable. The Lodge is in a good location for visiting Matlock Bath, the excellent Crich Tramway Museum, and not too far to drive to some good walks and locations in the Peak District. We will definitely be coming back again to The Lodge! Elaine

This venue was amazing. Clean, spacious, and with everything described. The host was friendly, accommodating, and replied to any questions within minutes. The countryside views, and the walks in this area are just idyllic. The family and I would 100% recommend.

Where to start... Laura is a wonderful host! Very friendly, responsive and helpful. Her home was a beautiful, colourful, tidy hideaway from the ordinary life. Relaxing garden with many beautiful flowers and herbs that offer a perfect place to relax, read and eat too, same as many small corners of her house with comfortable chairs by the windows. House and kitchen is well equipped. Laura offers great guide to area and coffee shops. Parking was a little hit and miss, but spaces can be found dotted around and walk back to the house offers a lovely view of different houses and front gardens so quite pleasant. Drive to city centre is only about 12 mins so very convenient location. Thank you for the lovely stay.

Thanks for a great stay Steve. Close enough for an easy commute to Sheffield but far away enough for some peace and quiet.

Mike's place was perfect for our 3 night trip to the Colne Valley. The farm shop just across the road and pub a short walk away were very handy. The place was very clean and had everything we needed, and we felt really comfortable as soon as we walked through the front door. Would lo e to come back and explore the area more.

Daniel was very helpful, very quick to respond to questions, went out of his way to assist in a booking issue with Airb&b, accommodation was fantastic, new apartments with very high specification including appliances, would totally recommend

Loved the one night stay I had here very nice property would highly recommend, super clean and tidy, very friendly, easy communication, very modern and out standing would definitely stay again.

Having a house number would have helped me to find it. Maybe I missed something but I needed to call to get advice on the exact location.

Meghan's property was lovely, and exactly what we needed. Was nice to be able to sit out in the garden and enjoy the weather when not out and about. Was located in a very quiet location and would definitely stay again if we came back!

Excellent stay, well equipped in the outdoor kitchen. Clean and tidy and very friendly hosts and very responsive. Location is peaceful, pretty and only a few minutes from Alton Towers. Great stay thank you

Simply 10/10 – highly recommended and would return in a heartbeat! From the moment we arrived, our experience at the cabin was nothing short of perfect. The host was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We were greeted personally at the car park, guided to the cabin, and given a full tour of the place, which instantly made us feel at home. The host thoughtfully introduced us to all the local amenities, including beautiful walking trails, handy shops etc. Their knowledge and enthusiasm really added a personal touch to our stay. A true testament to the host’s attentiveness and commitment to guest comfort. Most importantly, our privacy was fully respected throughout. The host struck the perfect balance between being available and allowing us to enjoy uninterrupted quality time with our family. The cabin nestled in such a peaceful and scenic location, was the perfect getaway. We couldn’t have asked for a better host or a more beautiful place to stay.

Plenty of comms from the moment we booked. Beautiful location and a lovely welcome package from Sarah. Within minutes of arriving we were already looking when we can book to come back. What a great find, we loved staying at Melissa's place. It was so clean, so stylish and classy. The fire pit, BBQ and log burner hot tub were all in use and that, coupled with a walk around their gorgeous land, watching the baby goslings march by in the morning was exactly what we wanted and more. We'd 100% go back, in fact we are already talking about it! Also Melissa and her mum Chrissie were lovely and very responsive - thanks for a great stay guys!
