Take it easy and have a getaway to a cosy 190-year-old cottage in the Irish countryside. The cottage is semi-detached and has its own private outdoor area. The cottage is located in the countryside village of Ballymacarbry which is situated at the foot of the Nire Valley and is perfect for hikers, with beautiful walking paths. Cyclists with the winding roads of the Sean Kelly circuit and walkers with the many woodland trails. The cottage is also a 10 minute drive from the Comeragh Mountains.

The Swallow's Nest is a tiny barn which sits between Slievenamon & the Comeragh mountains, in the glorious valley known as The Honeylands but is only a ten minute drive from Clonmel, Tipperary's County town.

Sitting on higher grounds just behind the main house, it has its own garden with a view to take your breath away. It’s a bit of a rise to get there but totally worth it. If you keep climbing across small fields and a strip of forest, you’ll find yourself on Slievenamon’s mountain trails. Downhill from here lies Kilcash village, pub, church, more forestry and the ruins of an old castle

Our den is a self-contained, accommodation at our home. With views to the Galtee Mountains, yet only 5 minutes drive from Cashel and the M8 motorway, easy access to the surrounding areas. Under 70 minutes Limerick, Kilkenny, Waterford, Shannon - use it as a base camp for a week or one night passing through. Easy access to Cork, Dublin and Shannon airports. Finding a place that takes a house-trained pet can be difficult but they’re part of the family and we welcome people and pet.

Charming 15th Century Castle

Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety And Caters For Up To Seven Guests. The castle is comprised of six floors, connected via a stone and oak spiral staircase. There are three double bedrooms and one single. The castle has great battlements which are accessible at the top of the staircase and host amazing views of the surrounding countryside.

It's a comfortable studio apartment, it has 2 single beds and a very comfortable sofa bed with mattress topper for a good night's sleep.
