Monthly Rentals in Rose Bay

Loved my stay at the Salty Crib! I have deep roots in Nova Scotia so I don’t mind things like a slight whiff of sulphur in the water…at the end of a dry summer, I’m glad to have enough water, period. (Which there was.) Melissa’s place was comfortable, incredibly quiet and in a beautiful location. I stayed for a week and didn’t want to leave! Loved my daily swim a half-hour walk down the road at Feltzen South Beach. This was the perfect rustic retreat with an ocean view. Would definitely stay here again.

What a great little spot for a quiet and private getaway. Every element was thoughtfully put together and we enjoyed every second. Highly recommended!

Ree is an extremely attentive host. She contacted us before check-in by phone and by email, and sent us full instructions on the property. The house is very well equipped (the kitchen has - literally - everything), with lots of fans, pillows, bedding, etc. The booster seat was a big hit with our 7-month-old grandchild. We didn't access the barn or boathouse (beyond admiring them), but they would obviously be great fun for a family with older kids. And the Rose Bay General Store is also a gem - close by and well-stocked with the basics and more, plus bakery and restaurant.

The Captain's house in Rose Bay is a great old house with a fantastic location right on the bay with a great view to the bay and Lunenburg. Michael is a great host who was very easy to contact and quick to help with any problems. Despite some sick days, we had a very good relaxing time in the Captain's house.
