A cozy cabin, with all the expected modern amenities for a comfortable stay. A perfect combination of modern with traditional Norwegian woodwork. Easy to find and access, even still in the midst of amazing and peaceful surroundings. Great for visiting Røros and enjoying the nature. The cabin was decorated for Christmas, a pleasant & nice surprise. Thomas is a great host that greeted us in person and gave us a lot of local tips , as well as helped out with parking in Røros city. Can totally recommend Røros, this cabin and Thomas & Co as hosts 💯

Fantastic place a little outside of beautiful Røros, I thought it was much nicer in real life ☺️ the stomp was just perfect and right next to the ski slope. Incredibly cozy with a fireplace in both the kitchen and living room. Camilla responds right now. Looking forward to going back

Cozy newly renovated cottage in the heart of Røros!

At first we had difficulty finding the cabin. Monica’s gave us the address “Steinvikvein” which cannot be found on Google Maps. The actual place was Stenvikveien (without the “i”). The cabin was near to a supermarket Rema 1000. Monica’s cabin was clean and well-stocked. There are 2 bedrooms but only 1 has heating. Do note there is no WiFi in the cabin (not a big issue for us). Overall we had a great time exploring Roros while staying at Monica’s place.

Pleasant stay! Nice nature, peaceful and beautiful place. Amazing town where you can feel Norway of the past . The cabin was as described, clean and well equipped. Had a wonderful days in wonderful Røros. The charming house is well in the style of Røros. Very nice location within walking distance to the city center. A quiet and nice area. Would love to come back.

Celebrated Easter 2025 at Hummelfjell, and we had a great time all 5 (2 adults and children of 9, 11 and 16 years). Nicely located cabin with possibility for hiking in the mountains and the slalom slope nearby (late Easter, so little snow). All in all a great cabin to celebrate Easter 😊

definitely worth a visit, nice for long stays. but also short as we had.

Nice and well-equipped cabin. Clean. Nice location. Short distance to the alpine slope. Nice for children to play outdoors around the cabin. We would be happy to come again on an appropriate occasion.

Really nice cabin from the 1800s that has been well taken care of and preserved much of the old charm. Nice location with road all the way in and short distance to Røros city center. The place has modern bathroom and shower with hot water and it was very well cleaned. The host had also warmed up in advance, lit up in the fireplace and set on lights so that it was easy and comfortable to arrive late at night. Thank you for a great stay - would love to come back!
