Excellent value, over the top amenities, perfect location close to top attractions. Kathryns place has a full working kitchen that is at hand in the apartment if you opt for eating in. They even offer an outside grill to use! It was so enjoyable watching the Amish school children across the street at recess, and hearing the school bell calling them in to class. The space is perfect for 2 to 4 people and there are plenty of recommendation brochures available if interested. We would definitely book again if we were in the area.

The Carriage House is the most peaceful place I have ever stayed in Lancaster County, PA (I have been visiting the area for over 40 years). The photographs of the property are stunning, but do not compare to the serenity we felt while visiting there. Even the decor was tranquil. Many hours were spent on the patio by the fire pit listening to the birds and the occasional Amish buggy going by in the distance. We had a long list of places to visit while in the area, but didn’t want to leave the Carriage House property ! Even though the location is quiet and out in the country, all of the shops and other activities are within a short drive. The Sight and Sound theater is also close by. Kayla is very accommodating, and quick to answer any questions we had. We will definitely return to the Carriage House ~ thank you for offering such a lovely property.

Our family really enjoyed our stay and watching the Amish Buggies trot by. It was a great little country holiday getaway but close enough to New York City for a day trip to the Broadway District to catch a show and visit Rockefeller Center.

The host was very responsive, the home is spectacular inside and well worth the stay. It wasn’t an issue for us as we only stayed one night and wasn’t at the house that much but there is a campground that joins the back yard. My kids enjoyed watching the Amish go by on their bikes and horse and buggy’s. We would stay again if we return to Lancaster and I’m sure we will.
