had such a lovely stay at the little cottage. great spot to just relax and be in a secluded little sun trap away from any hustle and bustle. hot tub was perfection, garden is just perfect to sit and read our books and have some drinks, kitchen was easy to use and got the job done for cooking, shower was nice and hot and good pressure (sounds silly but i think the shower is always worth a mention!) bed was so comfy, best we’ve slept in weeks! really appreciate the sky box being included, great value for money here. big thanks to Lorraine!

We had a lovely stay at Stag cottage and fully enjoyed the huge garden during our stay. Communications with Cindy were excellent and she was really quick to respond and keen to ensure our stay was the best it could be. It was most definitely a lucky find and we would stay there again in a heartbeat. 😊🦌❤️

We just had a wonderful long weekend in Wherwell in Rob & Sue’s beautiful cottage. Such a stunning village, the cottage exceeded our expectations, Rob & Sue were fantastic hosts & the breakfast pack was great. We finished the weekend with a lovely soak in the hot tub. Thank you Rob for the lift on the Saturday & your kindness.

Had a wonderful two days at The Bothy. Such a beautiful spot and the cottage I think looks even better in real life - and it looks pretty wonderful in the photos! We felt right at home straight away- Chrissy had left some welcome staples which was appreciated and there is everything you need for a truly lovely stay. We made use of the hot tub which was fab and it’s in a very peaceful but convenient location to explore the New Forest. Come - we hope to go back soon.

We were really impressed and comfortable at the cottage. It had everything you needed and was well thought out. The bed linen and towels were clean and fresh and there was a huge amount of utensils/cups/plates so you were never short. I also loved that there was a dishwasher with the tablets provided as the last thing I want to do when I’m away is wash up. I also loved the fact it was so kid friendly with cookware, toys, bed, toilet step etc all kid appropriate. It was like home from home. Lastly, the real wow factor for us was the garden. At the back of the garden is a field with cows which made our morning every morning. The garden was stunning and the barbecue was a real hit! My only thing I wish was different was some more bbq utensils but maybe they were there and I just couldn’t find them. Made the perfect base for our 2 days at Paultons Park.

Would not hesitate to book again. The cottage was spacious, clean and had everything you might need plus more. It is also a short walk away from Freshwater Bay. Also importantly the hosts Zena and Phil do all they can to make sure your stay goes without a hitch, a lovely couple.

A perfect 48-hour escape from London! We couldn’t have found a better place for a quick countryside getaway. The Barn is the ideal spot to unwind and truly disconnect from city life—immaculate, beautifully curated, and full of thoughtful touches. Emma is a fantastic host, clearly passionate about creating a warm and welcoming space. We especially loved spending the evening outdoors with a BBQ, then getting cosy inside by the wood burner. The locally sourced jam and butter, plus fresh eggs from Emma’s own farm, were such a lovely bonus. We left feeling rested and recharged—already dreaming of coming back!

We had a wonderful stay at The Forge. This was our first time staying in an Airbnb and we really enjoyed the experience. The cottage was very clean with good sized rooms and the kitchen had everything we needed for meal times. Particularly great for our young children with the books and toys available and a lovely outdoor space with a seesaw. Maxine answered all our questions and was a great host.

Honeysuckle Cottage is on the main road through East Meon but once inside it is quiet. All the furnishing and equipment are good quality and although the cottage is small, there is plenty of storage and it has everyone needed for a relaxing weekend. As others have said the second bedroom is very small but our son and his girlfriend slept comfortably and had enough space for their clothes. The garden is secure, so perfect for our dog. It’s also a sun trap so we were able to enjoy relaxing outside even though it wasn’t particularly hot weather. There are many excellent walks on the doorstep with stunning views. We were able to eat at The George on a couple of evenings and didn’t use our cars all weekend, which was just perfect. We did not park our cars on the main road but there’re plenty of places to park in the village, including the car park.

From the warm welcome and the homemade brownies to the clean and spacious interior, Bentley Cottage is the perfect place for a New Forest escape. We are already looking forward to our next time!!

We loved our relaxing few nights away at the cosy cottage & would highly recommend it to anyone. Paul was friendly & helpful when approached/messaged. The cottage is so pretty & ideal for a short stay. We loved the fact you can walk straight from the front door into the beautiful countryside, which we did 2 / 3 times a day with our dog. We only used our van a couple of times to go to Lyndhurst & Bartley, otherwise we just enjoyed the cottage & the local surroundings. The dog shower outside was fab to clean off mucky paws. The garden was great too - large, lots of seating & ideal for our dog - very friendly gardener, too! The pub right next door was handy, we ate & drunk there a couple of times. Follow Paul's instructions to get to the cottage & don't follow sat nav when you're near, otherwise it sends you across the fast A31.

Perfect location for our activity holiday in the New Forest and offered us a home-from-home in the evenings and for breakfast. Every little detail was taken care of and left us wanting for nothing during our stay. Would thoroughly recommend Caroline and her place for a family stay in the New Forest.

A lovely self-contained annexe attached to Deb and her husbands cottage, with private access and parking off road. Really clear instructions provided by Deb prior to arrival. Very friendly when we met and came out to greet us and say goodbye. Otherwise left to our own devices but was welcomed to just knock on her door if we needed anything. Very comfortable including the bed zzzz

We had such a lovely stay here, you could not find a more perfect location for a relaxing time, and to top it of the home is immaculate. Neil's communication was perfect keep us informed about everything and made sure we got settled. thanks so much for welcoming us.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bear Cottage. It was warm and cosy, and had everything we needed for our long weekend. A short walk to Beaulieu and ideally situated for visiting the Motor Museum. We especially enjoyed using the tennis courts (agreed by prior arrangement). Thank you Angy - a wonderful host!

Stayed for 4 nights at The Bothy- it’s a lovely home, very comfortable beds, plenty of towels, including beach towels, nice bedding and had basics like oil, vinegar, tea and coffee. The pool was a real bonus as we had good weather and used it every day- it’s lovely and warm. The area is quiet and very peaceful, lovely walks and costal views. You can walk to The Haven, great food- fish finger sandwich is epic, and into Lymington along the sea wall or down country lanes in the daytime, takes 20 minutes or so. A car is fairly essential here due to the quiet location. Sarah was an excellent host and was always on hand for any queries. I can highly recommend this place and we hope to stay again.

Our stay at this cottage couldn’t have been more perfect. The whole family loved it. Can’t wait to come back.

The Cot is an absolute gem — cosy, charming, and beautifully put together. This was the most perfect Airbnb we have ever stayed in. The location is beautiful and extremely peaceful. The house was absolutely spotless and so many little details had been thought about and provided, where they are so often missed in many other places. Could not have been more perfect And we hope to come back another day soon.
