Reconnect with nature at this memorable escape Dating back to 1163 we are renovating our watermill on the banks of the river Couesnon, (which flows into the bay of Mount Saint Michel ). Our Pigsty gite which over looks the river, is located in the grounds of our water Mill We are in rural Brittany at the heart of the farming community. The sound of running water and wildlife gives a location in which to unwind and take in nature, such as the kingfisher or Salamander should they be about!

The house is perfectly suited for a couple, bedroom with 160 x 200 bed. Shops within walking distance (bakery, tobacco, newspapers, pharmacy...). Close to A84, Avranches 20 min, Rennes 35 min, Fougères 15 min, Mt St Michel 30 min... Cleaning is not included in the rate: it must therefore be done before your departure...

A really lovely place to go with a family. We especially enjoyed the pool. And nice to be in a different part of Brittany than what we are used to. Our daughter is in a wheelchair, and it was a nice surprise to find a downstairs bedroom (I had previously planned to carry her up and down the stairs), and the kitchen on the next level was also accessible from the outside door too. It’s not highlighted on the listing, so definitely a plus if you do have a wheelchair 👍👍

A very attractive freshly renovated place with everything we might need! The place is on a hill with a stunning view of St Michel from the living room and bedroom. We took a taxi from the train station since we’d not researched finding a bus to the Airbnb. Probably best for someone with their own car or bike. A great restaurant was a mile away and well worth the walk.
