Oliveira's Little House

Casinha da Oliveira is located in a small village in a beautiful valley, surrounded by green hills, 4 km from the village of Aljezur. The casinha is a typical Algarve house (one of 3 twin houses), restored using traditional materials and maintaining its rural environment. The house is comfortable, cozy and cheerful, has a bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom and a large ground floor terrace, with garden furniture and a grill and overlooking the valley. It has a well-equipped kitchen and Wi-Fi.

A semi-detached country house (studio), located in a beautiful Vale da Serra Algarvia, more precisely, in the village of Cerca dos Pomares (5 km from Aljezur). "Casa Medronheiro" is part of our trio of local accommodation houses. It is twinned with "Casa Videira" and "Casa Figueira." (see photo in the gallery) In the village of Aljezur, you will find Supermarkets, Pharmacy, Restaurants and varied commerce. To do this, however, you will always have to travel by car (road in poor condition!).

Casas do Poente is a property consisting of 3 houses, ours and 2 other independent houses. Casinha da Cabra & Casinha do Burro, each with its own private patio and terrace. Casinha da Cabra (40m2) has 1 bedroom with a double bed, a living/dining room with a kitchenette and a wood burning stove, WC and a beautiful patio. The terrace overlooks the countryside, the sea and the sky. We are quiet and value both our privacy and the privacy of our guests. We are a family of 4, 2 humans and 2 dogs.

Beautiful self-built ecological house by the river

This amazing home-made house is newly renovated and located on our small farm where we grow vegetables and fruit trees. The house is made out of rammed earth and stones, placed just a few meters from the gorgeous river of Seixe, surrounded by green hills and fields. The valley is very calm and full of animals such as cows, horses, goats, donkeys, pigs & sheep. In the hot days you can take a cooling dip in the river or visit the amazing beach only 6 km away!

The cozy deck terrace is amazing for your alfresco meals, relaxing and reading, with stunning views over the old village.

Excellent starting point to visit the beaches nearby (Amoreira, Monte Clerigo, Arrifana). Typical Portuguese house in Aljezur oldtown. In old time it used to be a donkey shelter ! Walls are made of Taipa (clay) which keep freshness in summer time. The house is newly totally renovated (2019).

It is adjoining the main house where we live and has two terraces reserved for you. A 10-minute drive from all amenities (banks, supermarkets, restaurants, markets), you can enjoy the tranquility of the place, explore the surrounding villages and countless hiking trails.
