A semi-detached country house, located in a beautiful valley in the Algarve mountains, more precisely, in the village of Cerca dos Pomares (5 km from Aljezur). "Casa Figueira" is part of our trio of local accommodation houses. It is twinned with "Casa Medronheiro," and this, in turn, with "Casa Videira." (see photo in gallery) In the village of Aljezur, you will find Supermarkets, Pharmacy, Restaurants and varied commerce. To do this, however, you will always have to travel by car (road in poor condition!).

Casas do Poente is a property consisting of 3 houses, ours and 2 other independent houses. Casinha do Burro & Casinha da Cabra, each with its own private patio and terrace. Casinha do Burro (40m2) has 1 bedroom with double bed, the living/dining room with a kitchenette and a wood burning stove, 1 WC and a beautiful patio. The terrace overlooks the countryside, the sea and the sky! We are quiet and value both our privacy and the privacy of our guests. We are a family of 4, 2 humans and 2 dogs.

There is also a private terrasse from where you can enjoy the countryside views from the hammock. 2km from the nearest beach, restaurants, supermarket, and shops. The house is part of a Rural tourism in the middle of the Costa Vicentina Natural Park.   It is perfect for 2 (kids + 12 years), rest and  recharge batteries walking around .

Nearby small fishing villages such as Carrapateira, Vila do Bispo, Aljezur or Lagos are worth a visit.
