Engen Gård -The main house, Svartisen Engenbreen Meløy

Engen Gård is located in Holandsfjorden, northern part of the Helgeland coast, at Fv 17 between Halsa and Glomfjord in Meløy municipality. The farm is idyllically located just off Engenbreen which is a glacier of Svartisen and with spectacular views of the fjord and glacier. The place is rented as self-service, preferably a minimum of 4 days. The farm is reached by the shuttle boat that runs from the parking/bus stop at Fv 17 to Svartisen (10 min.), with departures mostly every hour of the day during the summer season.

Enjoy the view from the "Ørnedomen" a circular cabin of 9 sqm with a 120 cm bed that is raised under the roof on daytime. Access dining area and cooking possibility in the jetty, shower/wc in own module. Rental of boat. kayaks, SUP and a floating sauna. Price incl. bedding and towels. We also have a cafe with Thai food and serving of beer and wine. NOTE - this is Rangsundøya 81 96 Selsøyvik 25 min by boat from Rødøya.

We have wild and beautiful nature around us on all sides, and bright summer nights as well as winter storms can be enjoyed here.

Lille Herstrand is an eldorado for nature lovers. With beaches and a sauna with views of the Northern Lights and Midnight Sun, you can enjoy a unique stay with us. We include kayaks in the rental and offer boat rental. There are several attractive fishing spots nearby. Indoors, you can enjoy the comfortable slate floor with underfloor heating and the fireplace in the living room. Here you can stay in scenic and quiet surroundings. You have lovely views down to the sea, with access to several lovely hiking spots. Down by the sea, it is great to fish from the mountains while watching the sunset go down in the evenings. Possibility of using charcoal grill if desired.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Rorbuen is located on the mainland in a quiet rorbu area, with immediate proximity to great hiking areas. You can fish or swim from the floating piers, or hike the mountains. It is possible to hire a boat in the area if you wish. Simple standard inside with 2 double beds and a 120cm bed. Balcony on 2 floors, right out from the living room/kitchen. Large terrace on the 1st floor, on the pier.

The apartment has an amazing view, with the famous Helgelandsfjellet Hestmand in the city center. It is located right by the sea and is a great starting point for island hopping and hikes. The sofa in the living room is also possible to turn out to the sofa bed, so there is room for 6 guests.
