Idyllic Storvik is a small village on the far side of the Nordland coast in the middle between Saltstraumen and Svartisen. The surroundings are sea, mountains, sandy beach and fishing waters. Here you can stay in the old village school that we in the family have transformed into a modern apartment. There are several marked hiking trails in the area. They range from very easy, to more advanced trips for real "mountain goats". If you prefer to relax on the beach and enjoy nature from a distance, it is perfectly possible from the 1.5 km long sandy beach.

Balcony on the 2nd floor, right out from the living room/kitchen. Large terrace on the 1st floor, on the jetty.

In the period from September 15 to March 15, you can also use the Eagle Dome to watch the northern lights. Svartisen Northern light

Welcome to Svartisen Northern light. The cabin is located by the seaside and has a private dock. You can also find a telescope inside the cabin, and during the winter this is the place to observe the Northern lights when the sky is clear. The boat to Svartisen are approximately 400 m away from the cabin, so this is a perfect place to start glacier hiking. If you like fishing there is fishing gear available.
