Vacation rentals in Rodovani

Great welcome by Sofia's family. The accommodation is very easy to find thanks to the explanations given in pictures and in writing. Full of sweet touches were waiting for us. The grocery store recommended in Rodovani is very complete and the person who runs it is very nice, helpful and a good salesperson. Accommodation is conveniently located for hiking with the bus that passes down the street in front of the church. The setting is quiet and very relaxing and the sea is not very far away with nice walks to access the coves. Sofia and Polykarpos are very responsive and attentive and have good tips on sightseeing. We had questions about the taxi boats and Sofia even called the company for us to see if what we were planning was feasible! I highly recommend this place, we had a very pleasant 6 days there.

This is a real gem of a place to stay. A few kilometres outside Sougia in a beautifully quiet and peaceful spot on the hill surrounded by olive trees. The Eco House is very special. It has a kind of scandi aesthetic; everything is very beautiful down to the last detail. We wished we had such beautiful plates and bowls and lamps at home! It is also a very comfortable place to stay with everything you might possibly need and was exceptionally clean. The beds were very comfy and the bed sheets smelt gorgeous! However, the most special thing about this place is Corinne. One of the warmest, loveliest people you are likely to meet. She has obviously poured her heart into the Eco House and you can feel it. Corinne was incredibly welcoming and also gave us invaluable advice about what to do locally and how best to do it. THANK-YOU CORINNE. We will definitely be back!

This place is perfect for people looking for the country Crete experience, while only 30minutes from closely towns. Quiet and comfy, with everything you could want for a restful holiday. All the spaces are awesome. Inside and out. Everything is immaculately cared for. Manya is an exceptional host. Meeting us and then sitting with us for Raki and snacks when we arrived. She showed us how everything worked and had 40 oranges from her own trees, along with a basket of other fruits for us. She also left us alone and we enjoyed many days of peace and quiet laying by the pool and soaking in the sun. The kitchen and all appliances worked great. Beds were comfy and the WiFi was excellent. She truly thinks of everything and more. The nearby towns of Sougia and Paleochora are both nice. Paleochora is bigger, but both have great places to eat and very friendly people. Not a single bad thing to say about this place.

A fabulous stay at Kourthiana. Sally went the extra mile to make our stay extra special. Location and views lovely with a couple of great restaurants/tavernas within walking distance. Easy for us to reach places like Balos and Paleochora by car. Thank you, Sally and Gord :)

I can’t say enough good things about Amalen. I found it on Air B & B and so I expected almost no interaction. Our stay was 5 star in every way. Jacob and the rest of the staff cared for us. They were so helpful. The breakfast was amazing and each day they knew we were headed out, they packed us a to go box…even on our day of departure. We had the best time and if ever in Crete would only stay with them again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fanis' place. We particularly appreciated the fly screens on the windows to keep out the midges. There is air-conditioning in the main area & one of the bedrooms, plus a fan in the other bedroom. We were really comfortable & the place is close to some lovely walks and beaches. Thanks Fanis for having us!

Absolutely stunning Airbnb - the views are as pictured. Loved waking up to the sea. The rooms were cleaned and beautifully maintained by the cleaning lady. We were just two in this two bedroom so we had space to spread out but it could easily accommodate four. Loved having breakfast on the balcony with the view of the village and the ocean.

Beautiful house and location with tremendous views. Amazing Taverna 10 minutes walk away run by the friendliest people. A great centre for walking and only 15 minutes drive from Palaiochora and the sea. Fotis always replied promptly to queries.
