In Mitten eines Bergpanoramas, unweit vom Meer, liegt die für uns wohl schönste Unterkunft Kretas! Wer Ruhe, Entspannung & Erholung sucht, findet sie hier im kleinen Paradies auf dem Hügel. Im schönen & gut durchdachtem Holzhaus, ist alles vorhanden was man benötigt und noch viel mehr! Ob beim Sterne Beobachten, dem Zirpen der Grillen oder dem Geklingel der Schafsglöckchen, hier kann man einfach mal die Seele baumeln lassen. Wandertouren in die Umgebung und die Stadt Sougia selbst, sind ebenfalls sehr empfehlenswert. Freundliche Menschen, ein lebendiger Ort nebst authentischer & kreativer kretanischer Küche. Corinne haben wir dabei besonders ins Herz geschlossen. Sie empfing uns herzlichst und hat uns zu jeder Zeit Ratschläge für die Umgebung gegeben, authentisch & fernab der Touristenratgeber. Für uns hat hier einfach mehr als alles gestimmt. Danke Corinne, für dein Engagement, wir kommen herzlichst, und auf jeden Fall, sehr gerne wieder!

This place is perfect for people looking for the country Crete experience, while only 30minutes from closely towns. Quiet and comfy, with everything you could want for a restful holiday. All the spaces are awesome. Inside and out. Everything is immaculately cared for. Manya is an exceptional host. Meeting us and then sitting with us for Raki and snacks when we arrived. She showed us how everything worked and had 40 oranges from her own trees, along with a basket of other fruits for us. She also left us alone and we enjoyed many days of peace and quiet laying by the pool and soaking in the sun. The kitchen and all appliances worked great. Beds were comfy and the WiFi was excellent. She truly thinks of everything and more. The nearby towns of Sougia and Paleochora are both nice. Paleochora is bigger, but both have great places to eat and very friendly people. Not a single bad thing to say about this place.

Book this! Amalen Suites (only 5 for the entire property) is in the perfect spot! Close to everything but at night quiet and extremely secure! My favorite part of my stay was the staff that ran Amalen! Thank you so much Maria, Jakob, Tolis, and Josie!!! Everyone was so so so kind and gave amazing recommendations for my stay. The breakfast served every morning was phenomenal as well!!! Oh and! My all time favorite products are used at this location (Olive Era) so I was able to buy some bottles to take home too. And because I was traveling alone they checked in with me everyday and made sure I was safe during my stay which means a lot! I truly had an amazing time at this hotel and highly highly HIGHLY RECOMMEND for couples that are traveling through Crete. The city in which Amalen is located is large and can be tough to find parking all of the time so I also did love that this was close to many restaurants, shops, IG worthy cute alleys and a 2 minute walk to the ocean. This place is absolutely amazing. My wife and I spent our honeymoon at Aikaterinis apartment and we were completely satisfied. The inside provides everything what we needed. The description was absolutely accurate. The fridge is very spacious and there is a freezer as well. We cooked quite a lot therefore this was very helpful for us. The pool outside is very clean and also the temperature was perfect for the hot days in Greece. You can really relax at this place because there is not a lot of tourism at this area on Crete. Also the beach in front of the house is quite nice. We put our hammock under some trees and were watching the sunrise over Paleochora. I can totally recommend this apartment, especially for couples who want some relaxing time and together.

We really enjoyed staying at the Fedra Suites. The appartement is nice, comfortable and nicely decorated. We enjoyed the terrace to relax with the nice view. It was quiet despite having neighbours in the appartement beside. Georgos was very responsive and friendly. There are good restaurants that can be reached by walk (2-4 min of walk distance). Also very close to Plakias (5-7 min by car). This area is much quieter than the north of the Island. It is really a nice place to relax and absorb the beauty of the sea and landscape. We really enjoyed staying at this place and hope having the chance to return there. Nathalie and Dominick

Tolle Unterkunft mit spektakulärer Aussicht - Kommunikation, Check In, Aufenthalt waren super easy! Drumherum wohnen einige Menschen, die auf den Außenbereich schauen können, was uns wegen der wenigen Menschen, die zu der Zeit da waren, nicht gestört hat. Die Unterkunft ist umgeben von einer tollen Landschaft, der E4 geht direkt am Haus vorbei. Allerdings sind die Strecken zu den Wandergebieten wie zB das White Mountain Reservat oder der höchste Berg Kretas nicht unter 2 h mit dem Auto erreichbar. Wir haben uns insgesamt super wohl gefühlt und würden wiederkommen :)

Så nöjda. Vackrare än på bilderna. Vi är jätte nöjda med semestern. Fick massor av bra tips på restauranger o sevärdheter. Hjälpsamma o svarade snabbt när vi hade frågor. Hela familjen var supernöjda med semestern.

Che dire della villa di Fotis ? Semplicemente fantastica ! Dopo una giornata al mare o a girare per scoprire le bellezze di Creta, ritornare a casa di Fotis era come ritornare in un porto sicuro. La tranquillità, il silenzio e lo sguardo che si perde tra il mare ed il verde circostante non hanno prezzo, e noi li abbiamo ritrovati a villa Azogyres ... senza dimenticare poi la bellezza dell'interno della casa dove non mancava nulla.
