Vacation rentals in Rockford

This is a unique property with plenty of space, lots to do for a variety of interests, and it feels comfortable. There were so many amenities and welcoming touches. It was perfect for a destination family gathering with a range of ages (6-64). We would stay there again.

We loved our stay here and Kevin was a perfect host. Highly recommended.

The schoolhouse was a wonderful place for us to stay. It’s private, quiet, & couldn’t have been any cuter. The completely fenced-in backyard was perfect for our two new little puppies. Betty was great to deal with and very friendly and responsive. We really enjoyed the fresh eggs!!

Carol's place was very cute. Everything was very clean and well maintained. the apartment had a nice open feel and was just perfect for me and my dog!

This cabin style home was perfect for our family getaway! The game room was perfect for our ongoing family "olympics." We were able to prepare a meal for 8 of us. The spacious home allowed everyone to have their own room. Thank you!

This is an absolute ideal place to stay if you are hoping to experience historic Monroe. Perfect location on the square. The loft overlooks the square via beautiful windows; the space is open and clean, fully equipped with bedding, towels, etc. We have stayed here two years in a row for a siblings’ weekend, and can’t wait to come back! Host is responsive and accommodating.

It really is a wonderful place, rural, quiet, beautiful sunsets, the attention and kindness were essential in this accommodation, I would definitely stay there again.

This property was exactly what we needed to get out of the city and enjoy the quiet along with seeing goats and sheep and a beautiful sunrise! Loved the retro theme with Coca-Cola memorabilia ~ Mary has done a remarkable job making this a comfortable fun place to stay!

I stayed here with another couple. The place is great for two couples to hang out. Very cozy, nice big tv and enough space for not feel cramped with 4 people. Nice patio doors, large bathroom and the mattress in the bedroom was so comfortable. Kate also worked out special accommodations to work with us! The upstairs neighbors are very sweet and accommodating. Would for sure stay again. Thank you Kate!

This off-the-beaten path, yet still convenient, home was perfect for a 4-day stay. Louise welcomed us with a detailed letter including specifics to make our stay more comfortable both within her home and in the surrounding area. She also included personal touches like a lovely almond bundt cake and personal message to welcome us. If back in the Rockford area, will definitely stay here again. A bonus was to meet her two basset hounds, Tess & Stella!

I could write a whole post about the doors & windows of this place, but I'm a history/architecture nerd.... Pictures don't do justice to Twana's place. So well designed & thought out, from charging stations on bedside tables to a bench & shoe mats outside the entry, an off-street parking spot reserved for the AirBnB guest, etc. But the great old wood floors, doors, windows, B&W checkerboard floor tile in the kitchen, & mid-century furnishings really give character to a place that may look a little 'plain' from the outside. Twana was great w/ communication & flexible on my check-in time, which was greatly appreciated. Rockford's a sleeper. Check out their amazing new library on the water & The Norwegian for dinner. Lovely home in a lovely town.

Judy was very responsive and super accommodating. The apartment waa actually quite larger than it seemed in the photos, so that was nice. The bed was comfortable, the kitchenette and bathroom were super clean. It was great for the price.

Very comfortable space- near my family in one of my favorite neighborhoods in Rockford. Bed was comfortable and warm. Clean with comfy blankets and bedding. Would stay again.

Joleen was a great host - very clear communication, easy check-in and check-out, and the home was beautifully decorated. Would recommend staying here to anyone visiting Monroe - we will be back for sure!

Susan was awesome, very friendly and willing to work with you on checkin time also if I needed something. This has been my best experience yet with a BNB, will book again next time I am I. the area. Also easy access to the Toll so to get back to Chicago

We wanted something close to The Standard where we were attending a wedding; this was a quick 5 minute walk! Paul was very responsive to questions and answered the phone when we were having difficulties getting in; his attention to guests was greatly appreciated. There were steep steps when you entered, this may have been in the description and I just missed it - not a problem for us, but may be for others. The apartment itself was very clean and welcoming. There was a noticeable faint smell of smoke - which isn't uncommon for old places and it fades once you've been inside for a bit. We would stay here again in a minute!

Wonderful little gem in Rochelle just north of downtown - easy walk on a nice day to all the shops and restaurants. Great host, very communicative and almost instant responses! Clean spot, vintage charm, and all you'll need for a stay in Rochelle, IL. Highly recommend and would certainly love to stay again next time I'm in town. Thanks Michael!

Stayed for a night while visiting Roscoe for weekend family activities. Easy to find, great location next to south beloit park and a great price! Tracey was super nice and showed us around when we got there. Would definitely stay here again!
