Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Rockford

The apartment is spacious, bright, and looks right onto the Rock River. I would love to return in the summer and be able to enjoy the deck which overlooks the water. The location is convenient to many local attractions. It would be a good place for an extended stay with a well-equipped kitchen, washer and dryer. Nice modern kitchen and bathroom. Saul was a great host and replied quickly to messages.

Nice building in downtown Rockford. Well maintained and quiet. Safe parking lot. The GPS will tell you to turn at the No Outlet sign. That is wrong, go past that to the next right. The building is actually located behind the law offices where you turn in.

This was a long-term stay--almost 3 months while working on a project. This place was perfect for my needs, and the neighborhood was unexpectedly lovely and quiet. Great location for central Rockford amenities including restaurants like The Norwegian and 27 Aluna @ Octane. Lovely streets to walk in Churchill's Grove. Shower is tiny but water heat and pressure are great. Kitchen is also tiny but functional--I cooked almost every day, and the only thing I missed was a toaster (the oven wasn't set up but there is a 4-burner stove). Saul lives close by and was very attentive. Except for the fact that I never want to have to touch the project I was working on again (!!!), I would definitely stay there again!

My first time in the Rockford area, I am so glad that I chose this place . Extremely quiet, super clean and Saul was amazing . I will definitely stay again on my next trip .

We had a great stay and enjoyed all of the amenities of the Abbey Springs resort area. Great spot for kids with pool and beach access. Very responsive hosts as well.

Our hosts were very responsive to questions. Our first visit to Lake Geneva was so positive. The highlight was gold cart rides to Abbey Sorings resort. The food and service at their grill was exceptional. So much to do right at the resort!!

Good location. Clean place. Water was hot. Be careful of the step in the kitchen. We enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and full of amenities, towels, shampoo/conditioner, full kitchen with pots and pans, some kid toys and books, etc. Communication was very easy with the host and they responded very quickly to any messages. The only thing I would mention, which I read in another review, was if you arrive late at night when it is dark its a bit hard to find. I would suggest speaking with the security guard at the check-in gate to make sure you have the right route. Our GPS took us down a road that was golf cart only so it took us some time to find the condo. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend staying here.

We had an amazing stay at the Lyons Den! Came for a Bachelorette weekend to escape Chicago and the stay was immaculate. The peace and quiet from the location to the clean and open space made our stay a 10/10 experience. we had access to the pool and beach and the golf cart came in handy to get around the property. Downtown lake Geneva was close by and all the shops were near by which made the Stay excellent as well as private. Our only neighbors were the deer walking around and it was so nice.

We really like the location and coziness of this rental. Very comfortable bed and large bathroom. The owners are responsive and helpful. We rented for a few months and we’re so glad that we found this place.

Lovely space! Very clean, Comfy bed, beautiful views of the lake, even better than the photos, nice private location. We did not have a chance to check out the amenities, like the hot tub and pool at the near by resort but will definitely stay again to check it out!

The location was very convenient, close to the highway and local stores and restaurants. Iuliia was very communicative and friendly in all responses, and is clearly invested in making sure guests enjoy their stay.

Beautiful stylish house! We loved the decor and the amount of space, we slept comfortably and enjoyed the fireplace. We went to DeKalb to spend holidays close to my family and we enjoyed this house so much. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in the area.

Even though the weather was a bit unpredictable over the weekend, we still had an amazing time at this place! It was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There was plenty of space for us to use, and the host was incredibly welcoming and responsive. The location was perfect—peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend staying here!

Pictures didn’t do this place justice, clean and very well furnished. Kitchen fully stocked as if they live there full time. High end utensils and kitchenware. Very cozy, well lit during the day, several spots to hang out indoors and outside with lots of entertainment options indoors, lots of room to roam outside and a fire pit . Sandra responds instantly, she’s very far from you so you have privacy but always available to come by if you needed anything. Sandra invited my daughter to help her groom the horse and that made her day. Would visit again for sure, and perhaps in the winter if available. The fireplace beckons. There’s an XL size griddle outside which I was allowed to use. She’s offering you all she has, so treat it with care and respect and clean after yourself so that we can all enjoy her place. We went with a few families, with the youngest less than a year old and the oldest 10yo. There was something for everybody! The house is so expansive, the beds were really comfy, decorations were so thoughtful, the kitchen had all the pots and pans we needed, and all the activities were great. At one point, the batteries died in a game, and the owner sent some to the house right away. We also had another issue and she helped right away. Great host, great house! Thanks!I

We stayed here for just the weekend but even with our short stay it was a great experience. Beautiful house, feels cozy and the indoor pool is such a plus! We all had a great time here, definitely keeping this in mind for any future bookings or getaways.
