Cabin vacation rentals in Rock Island

We had a great long weekend stay! Beautiful place - very well decorated and we loved the hot tub!

We really enjoyed our stay here at the cabin! Place was clean, beautiful and serene. The cabin was immaculate and had everything we could have wanted and more including farm fresh eggs and homemade sourdough (which was exceptional). Spent a lot of time outdoors- hiking rock island and burgess falls! Even on the rainy days I had a great idea on how to plan out our day because Darcy had so graciously given us a detailed binder including lots of things to do!

We were looking for a quiet and peaceful cabin in the woods weekend escape to take with our toddler. Most places are either tailored to couples or are too kid focused with sensory overload. The coalmont was the perfect middle ground. Total peace and serenity but plenty on the property for our baby toddler to do and explore. Definitely hope to come back.

This home was very comfortable and clean. It was quiet and peaceful. We were here early March and weather was sunny. You can take in the views without the leaf foliage at this time. Pleasant place to stay. Trey was great with instructions and ease of checking in. Also checked in with us during our stay. Thanks

Perfect for a quick little get away! Quiet and peaceful place to unplug and relax, especially in the hot tub. Blackstone, indoor gel fuel fireplace, fire pit, games, bathroom essentials and so much more provided. We will definitely be back!! Kassidy was a great host and very responsive with any questions/concerns.

Great place to stay. Second year we have come down and used this property. Extremely spacious and within driving distance of all the golf courses we like to play in Crossville area.

Inn Between was a clean, well stocked cabin located between many state parks that we visited to hike and kayak while viewing spectacular waterfalls! Returning to the cabin after a day of adventure was a welcomed retreat for quiet relaxation. The abundance of extra treats was a bonus surprise. The town of McMinnville had options for eating out and a grocery to get food to prepare at the cabin.

A wonderful stay with very peaceful and beautiful surroundings. The cabin itself is well decorated and had lots of fun games to play. We will definitely be back!

Glen and Lindsey were such great hosts—they gave really clear instructions and were proactive about anticipating our needs. House was just what we needed for a conference in town, but would also be great as a vacation spot!

This was a beautiful home right outside of the park - the perfect place for our wedding party to stay. The porch and hot tub area are a nice touch. The kitchen was fully stocked and we found everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again for future trips to Fall Creek Falls.

We had a dirt bike race near Muddy Pond so this cabin was perfect for us. Ms. Jane was very sweet and accommodating. The cabin was clean and nice and my family loved the heated pool! We will definitely try to stay here again next year!

Place was fantastic! Only downfall was we didn’t get to enjoy it as much as we would’ve loved to have! Short stay! Will highly recommend to anyone who is thinking of staying in the area!

Great place to stay to get away from traffic and crowds. Some what isolated (which we wanted) so we came prepared with food and snacks. Pool and hot tub were well maintained and my kids enjoyed hours spashing around.

This place was one our group’s favorite places to stay! The hosts were amazing and so responsive! The home is so unique and comfortable and beautifully decorated! The hosts thought of so many sweet little touches that made our stay unforgettable. We will be back for sure!!!

We really enjoyed this place. We stayed at one of the smaller houses in the past. The extra room, King bed and a comfy sofa were great. Enjoyed breakfast on the screened porch. Great to get away from the city.

We loved Ann's place. Hiking to the waterfall out back was a special bonus. It's very close to Fall Creek Falls which was a great excursion. The home has comfortable beds, rooms, and hangout space.

This cabin was exactly what we needed! It was quiet, secluded without being too far from a store, cute, clean, and comfortable. Our host was super responsive and accommodating, and check in/out was very easy. We are very happy with our stay and would happily stay again if we are in the area.

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights here with our pup. It was perfectly relaxing, peaceful and had all the things we needed to enjoy our stay. There’s plenty of kitchen appliances, coffee and coffee maker, games, yoga mat, bubble bath supplies, streaming services etc I could go on and on. They have really thought of everything you could possibly need to enjoy a peaceful quiet stay here. We will be recommending this to our friends! Thanks Anthony!

Jeff and Jill were great hosts and helped answer my questions. The property was beautiful with a view of the lake. It was the perfect quiet retreat for me and my dogs!

We enjoyed our stay very much in the cabin! The area was quiet, remote and just what we wanted.

Let me start by saying, the cabin was incredible. Felt like stepping back in time. Very well done. Our host even dropped off fresh baked cinnamon rolls and cake for us. Excellent surprise. Now the rest of the story… My wife and I chose this location to escape from the storms in mid TN. Weather reports looked decent. 1:00 in the morning we were woke up to tornado warnings and then it hit. Horrible experience and terrifying to be in a strange place during a tornado but, the cabin survived and kept us safe. Cindy the host was in immediate contact with us making sure we were safe and her husband came in person to check on us. Our terrible experience has nothing to do with the property or the host, both were beyond fantastic and for that alone deserve your business. We will definitely be back hopefully when the weather is better. Thank you Cindy for being a caring and wonderful person. Mostly thankful for the cabin that did its job and kept my wife and I safe.

If you’re coming for the caverns and need a place to say Shelia’s home is a perfect spot. It’s not to far and it’s an amazing home. Even if you’re not coming for the caverns this is a great spot to just bring the family or even just a great relaxation spot but her home is 100% worth it so I would stop searching and book this place!
