Our stay in Coalmont Cove was just what we were looking for…peaceful and private. It was definitely “tiny”, so don’t let yourself be surprised in that regard! Very little space to lounge in except the bed and outdoor area. Genette was fabulous to respond to my questions quickly and showed a genuine desire to host us well. She provided good information on the area for hiking, etc. Close enough to Nashville (about 1 hour and 45 minutes) to drive in for a concert at the Ryman!

What a beautiful spot! The rv was super clean and very comfortable. My friend and I spent the day kayaking to water falls and hiking state parks, the rv was a perfect place for us to end our day. I loved the privacy shade, the twinkle lights surrounding the fire pit, and the hang out spot in front of the rv.

We had a lovely time at the cottage. It was clean, and stocked from the bathroom to the kitchen. The open floor plan was comfortable and beautifully decorated. The host was communicative, flexible, and kind. Our family enjoyed the hot tub, swimming in the lake, and great fishing off of the dock. When we wanted to venture out, we had amazing bbq at Collin’s River Cafe, enjoyed ice cream and a Weenie Panini at Rock Island Trolley Stop, and took a pontoon boat tour of the most beautiful waterfalls! A perfect getaway, we hope to return to soon!

This house was such a gem! The hosts paid special attention to every detail that would guarantee a comfortable stay. It is obvious that the hosts take pride in caring for this home and ensure that it is spotless. The space is aesthetically pleasing to eye with great interior design. The covered back deck overlooking a charming creek was a wonderful surprise. I would absolutely recommend a stay at the Dock House.

Oh gosh - where do I start?! I never wanted to leave. Carol is so kind and accommodating is so freaking sweet. I actually fell in love with her more than the place! The property is absolutely amazing and gorgeous and my dog, Red and I just loved it.😍 Inside is so clean, so cleanly, it’s cozy. It’s everything that you want in an Airbnb. This was definitely a home away from home and I will be back again!!!!

The stay was excellent, but here are 2 things that we noticed once we arrived. 1. The driveway is not meant for low riding vehicles. The hump at the top of the driveway going down to the 2nd level was hitting the bottom of our rental (chrysler pacifica), so we stayed in front of the red barn and walked down. (Harder walk going up with suitcases). I just wanted to share this information. 2. There are lights at the base of the 2nd level along the steps that lead to the cabin, but they were not working so it was extremely dark at night trying to get to the cabin. We used our flashlights on our phones so just be aware especially if you have smaller kids. Other then these 2 things, everything was great. The water was too cold to swim, but we were able to sit in the hammocks on the deck most of the time and listen to the birds and enjoy the cooler weather.
