Waterfront vacation rentals in Rochester

One of my FAVORITE Airbnbs I have ever stayed! Was very clean and organized and in a GREAT location near the canal. The host was so kind and gave clear instructions. Will book again!

The only seating in the living room was the sofa. It would be great if they could add another small chair.

Totally enjoyed our stay and our interaction with the Hist. While the unit is a one bedroom, it is generously spacious. Living room, dining area, kitchen were all over sized. The bedroom was a perfect size and the beds were very comfortable. We typically stay at a hotel when visiting the area. We are so glad we found this location and plan to rent this unit and the larger ones on our next visit to see family in the area.

We had a lovely stay at this Airbnb! The hosts were incredibly welcoming and personally explained how everything worked and made sure we had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the welcome of Christmas cookies and wine and thoughtful decorations for Christmas. The space was exactly as described—very clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect, with restaurants and attractions nearby. There was the added bonus of visiting deer to see right outside the window. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area. I would definitely stay here again!

We were very happy with the cleanliness and appearance of the home. The view was outstanding. The decore was interesting and fascinating. We loved exploring it along with sitting on the deck watching the activities on the Erie Canal. We thought the sound of the trains would interrupt our sleep but, on the contrary, it was a comforting sound that lulled us to sleep. We would definitely stay there again.

The home was clean , comfortable and very accommodating. Practically in the water, that’s how close you are to the lake. Very quiet surroundings and extremely peaceful. If you’re looking for a tranquil vacation, here’s your spot.

Top notch stay! My friends and I loved the loft. It was spacious, very clean and it literally has everything you need and more. We loved spending our time lounging inside because it was so homey and welcoming. Everything is as advertised and it is located in a beautiful village with lots to see and do (please visit Pittsford Dairy for amazing pastries and ice cream!). Mike was very accommodating and communicative. Check in and check out was a breeze. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit. Thank you so much for everything Mike!

This was a great opportunity for me and my siblings to remember the time when our parents had a cottage at Conesus Lake. I was only 2 so I enjoyed hearing their stories. It was great to connect and what a fantastic atmosphere! The weather was a little cloudy and rainy but when the sun came out it was beautiful. Inside the cottage was very welcoming and comfy too. The neighbors were kind too!

Our stay on the lake was wonderful. The housing was perfect and met our needs. This would be a great house to rent during the summer months. WE had a little trouble locating the house initially as it is located among other houses and the drive down to the house is not clearly marked. If you are coming from the south you need to make a turn almost opposite the way you are coming into a steep drive to the housing. It needs to be better marked, maybe with an arrow and house number. The house could also us a little address sign on the walkway for clarification. HOWEVER, the stay was great and getting information to the person in charge was easy. The accommodations were very good. The view was wonderful. The water frontage is a bit steep but there are steps to bring you to the water. In all this is a wonderful home for vacation with amenities about 15 minutes away. I would give Nancy or Eric a call again.

We had a great stay on Conesus Lake, and would absolutely return again. Christopher’s home is great for a family or large group. Right on the lake, with plenty of room.

Our second time staying in the house. Our kiddos call it “the good place.” We love everything about the house. We will be back, again.

Whitney’s place was perfect for our family vacation. The big yard was great for our grandchildren to play and access the water. The shed had paddle boards, kayaks, life jackets and noodles. The house was clean and kitchen was well stocked with all necessities. The Conesus Lake boat launch was located close by. Communication with Whitney was extremely easy and her guide with useful information was appreciated. We definitely would come back!

We had an amazing time at Nicole's lovely house! It was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, with everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom. I wish my own house was like this!

We were in town to spend the holidays with family and the house was everything that we had hoped for! It was warm and welcoming and a great space for us all to spend time together. Everything was clean and the house had everything that you might need for a wonderful stay. Owner was easy to reach and answered questions quickly. We loved it and are already talking about a repeat visit next year!

We had a wonderful stay at Angela’s place! The house was clean, spacious, and comfortable. It was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The views of the lake were amazing! You really can’t beat the location. The house was easy to find and located on a quiet dead end street. You are just a short drive from everything even Hamlin Beach! The bed was comfortable and waking up to the lake view was an added bonus. We loved that it was dog friendly too! We would definitely recommend!

Tobiah was a fabulous host. He answered all questions promptly and was very helpful. We had a small gathering of family, coming from far apart and the condo was wonderful! It worked beautifully for our needs. We loved the view of the lake off the balconies-- especially with a full moon reflecting on it! The condo was well-appointed, with everything we needed. It was a very comfortable setting and close to hiking, wineries, and water activities, as well as cycling along the Erie Canal. The condo's location, a short distance between the towns of Naples and Canadaigua, made it easy to run an errand or go out eat. We highly recommend Tobiah's waterfront condo!

Lindsey's place was a wonderful location for a getaway with my friends! The condo was beautiful, clean, tidy, organized, well decorated, cute, and comfortable! And wow, the view of Canandaigua lake in the morning from the living room is stunning! So close to Canandaigua and Naples and cute places to visit! Lindsey was so communicative, making sure we had everything we needed ahead of time and during our stay, and was such a pleasure to talk to! I highly recommend Lindsey's condo and wouldn't hesitate to book again!

Booked as a surprised for my bills-fan husband the weekend of our wedding. Pretty cool place. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable, but it was fine! If you’re coming here to watch football- keep in mind it’s a projector screen and not a tv. Sound only comes from the projector. The screen isn’t taught so I don’t think it’d be be best place for watching parties. But other than that we had a great time!

We had a wonderful stay. The views were absolutely stunning. It was a perfect way to ring in the new year. Amy was very responsive, and the house was perfect. We hope to return one day.

This was an amazing place where we felt right at home. The view was breathtaking taking, the pictures didn’t do it justice. Overall this was a great place to stay and we would definitely come back.

One of the best views in the Finger Lakes. Early spring the area was quiet, which was just what we wanted. The space was well arranged and decorated, and extremely comfortable. Diane had anticipated every need. Both Canandaigua and Naples are just a few miles away. We look forward to a return stay in the fall.
