House vacation rentals in Rochester

I have stayed in Air B and Bs all throughout Europe and in the USA. This place is at the top of the list in just about every category. The host is easy to reach, proactive and responsive. Very clean place and the amenities were all first class. I was at this place for a golfing reunion with my brothers who came from all over the world. We are all in our 70s and 80s. None of us, (including my perfectionist brother who always finds something to complain about) had any complaints. In addition, the neighborhood is great. Plenty of nice, high quality restaurants . Easy walking to just enjoy the magnificent housing in the area. Also close to the Museum and Planetarium for the rainy days. We had a great time and could not be happier with this rental.

Our stay at Mike and Tisbe’s was incredible. The home and yard were perfect and the view of the lake and sunset were just wonderful. Mike and Tisbe were always responsive. Highly, highly recommend!!!!

We were looking for a quiet place to enjoy a weekend with friends while we attended an outdoor concert at Wayne County Fairgrounds. This definitely hit the mark! Four adults and dog were very comfortable. Spacious bedrooms, great kitchen so we didn’t have to eat out, and comfortable house overall. Even saw two deer and a fox in the backyard one night! Highly recommend because Kenneth was more than accommodating.

We had a wonderful time here. It's perfectly located in Park Ave neighborhood with a quick walk to CVS, shops and restaurants we were interested in visiting. Off street parking was a huge plus. Would stay here again. Thanks!

Great stay while visiting our son at RIT. Our pups loved the fenced in backyard and a great and quiet neighborhood for walking. Bathrooms were especially extra clean which means a lot to us while traveling. We spent lots of time in the nice sunroom with comfy couches and privacy. Jason was very communicative. We felt right at home!

Jessica is the sweetest! Such an incredible host that made my family’s stay for graduation weekend incredible. We loved coming back and taking walks around the quiet neighborhood, and enjoyed the lovely space. Would highly recommend this place!

Great home on a quiet street, but easy walking distance to shops and restaurants on Park Ave. Beautifully and comfortably decorated. Bedroom and bathroom are upstairs for any with mobility concerns. Lockbox was great for self check in. I did struggle with lock box, though that could have been user error and host did respond to provide assistance. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Great place to stay

Lisa and Will greeted us with smiles, knowledge and history of their property! They were very informative and friendly, offered us a free growler from their winery! Beautiful yard wonderful hiking trails down to Hemlock lake hot tub was just what we needed , peaceful private and relaxing!

I stayed here with my family for 3 nights. We were in the area for a concert at CMAC, which was about 20 minutes away. Sondra’s place was perfect! It was serene and peaceful with the creek out front. We had many bird and deer visitors. The hot tub was so fun and we spent most evenings grilling on the deck. There are beautiful wineries and trails nearby (the RMSC nature center is fantastic!). We also did a campus tour to SUNY Geneseo when we were up (again only about 20 mins away!) I hope to be back in the area again soon and would book with Sondra again in a heartbeat! Booked this place last minute as the hotel I had previously booked fell through. Super responsive host and the place was amazing. Definitely going to come back in the fall/winter!

Great place. We were staying here with another family, and the 3 BRs are nicely situated for that. Clear instructions for use of the house throughout.

This was a very nice place, everything was as advertised. Lots of towels to use, which was nice. A couple things to note: there is no dining room table or dishwasher in this place. It was ok for us because we had nice weather and could sit outside, and also there was only 2 of us. Location was beautiful for watching sunsets and close to the town of Canandaigua; but beach access was 1.5 miles down the road, so not super close if walking.

We had a wonderful stay! Plenty of linens. Great setup. The beds are hard, very firm (this isn’t a good or bad thing as it’s preference, but just something worth mentioning). The hot tub was so clean. The slippers were a great bonus we didn’t know we needed! The windows were a little hard to open or didn’t open at all and there was no screen door on the sliding door, which stunk because we were in and out often and had to open the heavy and sort of loud door each time. The AC worked great! I would definitely stay again! For anyone concerned about neighbors (because of other reviews like I was), it wasn’t an issue at all. The views were amazing even on the day it poured! The owners communication was fantastic.

This is my families second stay at Bree’s beautiful home for the Christmas week. The family gathers from all different cities and such a perfect spot to come together ! Cozy and spacious , kitchen is well supplied and the views are spectacular. We were so happy to have a white Christmas this year and 6 fox sightings in the yard!! Highly recommend!! Haven’t stayed for the summer season but I can imagine with the pool and hot tub and lake use opportunities it would amazing. Thanks again Tom

This is a beautiful home. It had such a cottage charm. It was very clean and tidy. The beds were very comfortable. There was space to spread out. The hot tub was very nice and worked great. It had a great screened in porch that was a fun surprise ( maybe I missed it on the listing). This was an awesome place to stay. We loved it.

Absolutely beautiful property and absolutely STELLAR host ! Super responsive when we had questions and was more than accommodating with our service dog! Big beautiful yard and clean comfy home ! 10/10 inside and out with wonderful a amenities! Super quiet neighborhood and feels extremely safe! Board games available and a TV in every room!! We would absolutely book again for our next trip! Thank you guys so much !

Great little house right near the airport and UR. Stocked with the basics one would need and Sara was a responsive and helpful host. I would recommend staying.

I had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as described — clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Everything was well-maintained and thoughtfully prepared. The host was incredibly friendly, helpful, and quick to respond to any questions. I really appreciated their hospitality and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Stayed here with a group of 5 and it was good for us. Loved being close enough to walk to lots of restaurants/cafes and in such a leafy, porch-filled neighborhood. We spent a lot of time (in June) on the porch and loved it.

Perfect for us bringing our dogs along for the Memorial Day weekend. The Airbnb was fantastic and gave us a cozy place to relax in with all that rain. Location was perfect for us, stunning and isolated.

Great spot to stay right by the beach. Beautiful backyard to relax in. And the pups really enjoyed the space to run and play. Camille was very kind and attentive. Would definitely stay again!
