Stefano's house is nestled in the wonderful alleys of the magical ancient village of Pettorano. The house overlooks a beautiful mountain view of Mount Genzano, accompanied by the sound of the flowing Gizio river, in the true center of the nature reserve. The house has everything you need for a great stay. Stefano's advice on what to eat (restaurants in the historic center within walking distance) and what to see, were helpful. Highly recommended

Antonella's house is beautiful and cozy. From all the windows of the house you can enjoy a privileged view of Lake Scanno. An added value is certainly represented by the external courtyard that can be enjoyed and which immediately overlooks the lake. Antonella and her husband are also really very nice. They were concerned at all times that everything was comfortable and that the house was warm. We will definitely be back to enjoy their home

Emanuele's place is the absolute best, I mean, magical on its own but also wonderful because of the host himself. He met us late at night to check in and when we hadnt eaten, tried to get us to take the food he had at home. He was the absolute most accomodating and friendly host I've met on AirBNB even after 15? years on it. The second night he and his partner welcomed us to dinner at their little restaurant downstairs and IT. WAS. INCREDIBLE. They hosted only us and gave us such an incredible meal, and such incredible wine and company, I truly cant recommend it enough. The AirBnB is absolutely stunning on its own....but also...the host really makes the experience.

If you plan to stay in the Sulmona area, this is the place we recommend to stay. It's beautiful, unique, spacious, clean and has a fantastic host. It's in a quintessential medieval town, right next to a castle. Serena, greeted us with a picnic basket full of breakfast items, and gave us tips where locally to eat. Her place comes fully equipped with all you need to cook, eat, and stay for multiple days incl. a huge library of (Italian) books. You won't be disappointed if you look for something special...
