The architect of the building itself is Eduard Knoblauch, and its traditional spirit has been brought back to life after an extensive renovation. The half-timbered courtyard was lovingly renovated in 2023 and has 5 stylish apartments. It is located on a quiet street in the island town of Malchow, 50 meters from a beautiful jetty, so the lake landscape is right outside the front door. Our courtyard is the heart and meeting place for our guests. Here and in the beautiful garden you can relax, barbecue, play table tennis. In 800 m you are at the harbor with a swing bridge and many good restaurants, boat and bike rentals.

We love contrasts - In Schloss Lanke, we rent a spacious 100 sqm loft in the attic. A castle loft. French Neo-Renaissance on the outside, subtle minimalism on the inside. Urban living comfort meets the lush nature of the Barnim Nature Park. Both together create the perfect setting for rest, relaxation and deceleration. In addition to vacation rentals, Schloss Lanke also houses the owners' apartments as well as office space on the first floor. We respect our privacy.

Unfortunately, our farm is not suitable for excessive parties. Our house was built around 1850. The house & barn of the listed 3-sided courtyard are built in oak half-timbering. There are 10 wedding linden trees around the house. In November, when the lime trees are pruned, the house can be seen in all its splendor. From May onwards, it slowly disappears behind shady foliage, and so remains wonderfully cool throughout the summer... 

Guesthouse Green Gables

GREEN GABLES is a guesthouse and bolthole for anyone looking to escape city life and recharge their batteries. Owner, Galina Green, offers the perfect environment for you to finish writing that essay, article or novel or to enjoy a birdwatching weekend or simply a place to just "be". The holiday rental is in one half of the house but has a separate entrance, own terrace and open fire place.

Quiet apartment in Malchow

We rent a cozy 40 sqm apartment on the western outskirts of Malchow (Meckl.). It is an ideal base for exploring the Mecklenburg Lake District. For this purpose, two 28-inch bicycles with coaster brakes are also available if needed. Shopping and sports facilities, a cinema and a swimming area are 300 meters away. There is currently still a daily tourist tax of 1.50/2.00 euros per person.
